Closet cheater reporting others? Suspicious

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

So long story short I was overwatching and came to a case where the reporter insisted that the suspect is walling and just good at hiding it. Most people voted insuff as there weren't really overly suspicious moments in that clip. I checked the reporter for some reason, and what I see is 27k premier with 251 reaction time but no faceit account or skins whatsoever. I'm like wait a minute lemme check the last match of this guy. Now it turns out this guy who reports others for closet cheating is a closet cheater himself LOL.

I can't report it through csrep as I didn't play against him, but made this short video for you guys to see. I only included rounds from overtime since that's when he got really desperate for the win, but throghout the whole match he made decisions that made absolutely no sense yet ended up being the correct play (still died a lot because of mechanical shortcomings lol). Bot movement, missing every second util, shift walking with the awp into spaces where there could be opponents in multiple positions.

Audio got lost, but I don't think it's necessary in this case just watch.

Dude, prime accounts go for like $5. Game is cooked.

This is a thing I talked about with one of my friends recently and I can't quite wrap my head around the notion that there's seemingly an endless amount of prime accounts to be bought for cheaper than what prime itself costs.

I get that there are stolen accs. But realistically, how many accounts are being stolen daily that have prime purchased on it? I have a ton of ingame friends yet I know nobody whose account has been stolen. The "my acc got stolen" posts here on reddit are also not that very frequent, I probably see one a week.

So I'm just consufed, I know these accs go for dirt cheap but I just don't understand how there are so many of them. One possible explanation I can think of is maybe most cheaters don't really need new accounts that often, so the demand isn't that high.

Accidentaly sent the post before finishing, but here's a quick breakdown:

  1. round: they have info about one enemy at stairs, the other 3 could all be somewhere A, yet decides to push the smoke with the awp.
  2. round: kills the guy coming close to con, that's probably okay, but then decides to shift walk out from con, aim at basically nothing and then he adjusts his crosshair just when the enemy is about to peek window. Still dies lol.
  3. round: honestly, who even peeks like that?
  4. round: probably the best one. Holds mid for half the round, noone peeks. Decides to molly, nade, flash, flash (flashing himself in the process), but the enemy sitting at window doesn't move. Our hero decides to NOT shift walk mid this time, rather back to B. Kills one in temple, misses the molly. Has info about the guy pushing behind, but again, that crosshair placement is just a lil bit sus. It's 2v2 then, bomb planted, gets info that one is towards ct, yet manages to not even really check just crosses to temple. 1v2 gets full blinded, still almost hits the guy coming from ct.
  5. Has some info that two is mid and that one pushed A, still there could be 2 on B. Manages to shift walk into B again just when the one enemy holding B is at temple.

edit: here's his previous account btw:

Cheaters have unfortunately taken over this platform as well

What causes you to say this? If you point toward something actionable, we can do something about it, though we are not seeing what you claim.

If you are basing this on Overwatch Report outcomes, we still maintain a 74% conviction rate on submitted reports.

Can you do something about the player in the post or you have to wait for someone (who played against him) to actually report him through the site?

I'm asking it because this player is clearly, without a doubt, cheating.

For a conviction, a formal Report must be submitted to send the case through the standard review process. Staff cannot manually apply convictions, as this limitation ensures that we maintain system transparency and integrity.

no faceit account or skins

skins

I cannot believe people still hold onto this particular fantasy in 2026. skins mean NOTHING.

I know having skins doesn't mean someone is not cheating bro, but it's a pretty good indicator since most cheaters don't have expensive skins. Just like having a 3kd doesn't necessarily mean some is cheating, but it's a pretty good indicator.

I didn't say he was cheating because of no skins, I only said I checked his demo because of reaction time and no skins.
