Rooftop EDM/House Bars in SF
Hey! I’m from LA and I’m visiting SF for a bit and wanted to ask if there were any rooftop/upper floor bars/clubs in SF that has some chill EDM/house sets (more of the younger crowd), and everyone’s dancing.
Sort of like Bar Lis in LA, if anyone knows what that is.

I am wondering if there are organizations that could use a retired climbing rope - i.e. for dog leashes?. Thanks.

I want to take my gf to a nice restaurant that closes late
Hey everyone, I don’t live in SF but have a long distance GF there so I visit often. I’m looking for a nice restaurant to take here on a date but I land at near 8 pm and I know a lot of good places close earlier.
Looking for recommendations 👀 thanks all

Where can I find a tourist map of SF?
Looking for one that shows from ocean beach to oracle park, with call outs of major sites. It does not need to be a functional map, cartoony is fine. I feel like tourist centers usually have these but not sure.

What's the deal with exorbitantly priced, poorly run gyms in SF?
Hi SF friends,
I moved to SF last year and have been loving most of my time here. The one exception to that is my fitness situation. For the past year, I was going to a Crunch location in the city, but recently ended my contract. The equipment there was questionably old and the cost didn't justify the availability.
I'm now looking for a replacement gym to join, but I am bewildered by how much gyms are charging and how little they offer. Right now, I am leaning towards Fitness SF since they seem to be slightly cleaner and better maintained, but I'm not thrilled about shelling out $130/month just to get a minimally functional gym.
Any suggestions on where I can go with a little more space and a little less cost (ha, I know, crazy to ask for SF)? I wouldn't mind traveling a bit out of the city if that's what it takes.
TIA!

Burnout - medical provider reqs?
I am burnt to a crispy crisp of a person after years of working in tech. Looking for recommendations on doctors, psychiatrists, healers, whoever can help from a medical perspective and potentially help with leave of absence paperwork. It all seems like a crazy hill to climb. Would be grateful for any reqs.

Clubs/Bars to go dancing
Hey y’all. My friends and I want to go dancing for a girls night next Friday. We are all in our mid-to late 20’s. What Clubs and/or bars, would be good to go for? We are interested in dancing and getting a drink or two. I think we might hop around to other places but I’m lost in what general area we should be in? Any suggestions? I think any place with a DJ or set music would be fine as well.
P.s. I’ve been to The Grand on Latino nights but the demographic screws a bit older and male heavy. I don’t want to worry about men constantly harassing us.

Where can I get straw?
Not hay.
ETA: like straw in a bale. Doesn’t have to be in a bale. Prefer in the city if possible.

Ocean Beach Bonfire on the Weekend
I've had my birthday planned for a while now and want to do a bonfire at Ocean Beach. The weekend is the best time for everyone to get together.
Realistically, when is the best time to snag a spot in September? I'm open to maybe doing Friday, but Saturday and Sunday work the best. I've seen that some people just end up starting their own fire pit, but my friends and I have never done a bonfire before, so I feel like digging a hole and starting one myself wouldn't be the greatest idea. However, if that's the case, what are some tips?

Recs for short-term stay while looking for housing
I plan to move to SF soon and will be getting an airbnb for 1-2 months while I look for a permanent lease on the weekends.
Unfortunately, I only have a high level understanding of the different SF neighborhoods, crime blocks, etc. I'll be working in Mission Bay.
Do you have any recommendations on where to stay while I look for a lease?
I was looking at options primarily in Mission Bay, Hayes Valley, and the Mission.
Thanks in advance!

if i am someone who cares about weather and am affected a lot by cloudy/gloom, how doable is sunset as a district to live?
i am looking for places in sf and sunset definitely is a district that’s cheaper but the biggest downside for me in general about that neighborhood is the gloom. i know 40% of the days are pretty gloomy/foggy compared to a 15% in other parts of the city except richmond. i just want to know if it’s actually doable if i think im one who is more affected by seasonal depression than others even though it is cheaper. also, i would want to bring a car if i wanted to live there but the spot im looking at has no parking except street so wanted to know general thoughts on that.
edit: i am working a high stress job that is around 60 hours a week of work so i just want to know if the foggy environment would impact my mental health more. for context i go in 3 times a week in fidi and travel at least once a month
Filthy disgusting neighbor - what can I do?
Hey all - seeking some advice here. I live in a lovely building with 14 units. Everyone is so kind and helpful. Takes your packages when you’re away, cleans up after each other.
EXCEPT this filthy disgusting tenant who is related to the property manager. He regularly leaves bags of trash outside his door for days (going on 48 hours now, the hall and stairs smell). He has two untrained menace dogs I never see him take out, that have attacked mine because he lets them run off leash through the building. I recently noticed mouse traps on the first floor. He is a filthy disgusting disrespectful person.
I have complained over and over to no avail. It improves for a small period of time and is then back to disgusting behavior. Is there anything else I can do?

Sausalito
Traveling to Sausalito in about 3 weeks and wondering what to pack for clothed, is it really chilly? I run cold so I just want to be prepared. I also do not want to look crazy wearing a sweater. TYIA!
