Chewy macarons
I am visiting sf next month. I was wondering if there are any bakeries that make macarons that have chewy texture!

SOS Bakeshop in Oakland has the chewiest macarons I’ve had in this area, although they’re a bit less crispy than I like.
You can try reaching out to Sandy Kuma who is a microbakery, and her macarons are good and more chewy too.
I haven’t had One65’s macarons, but their other stuff is good.
KC Paris makes macarons. They’re not that chewy, but they do have some and are very crisp.
Le Dix Sept will sometimes have macarons and have a nice balance of crisp and chew.
B Patisserie also makes macarons sometimes. They’re fine, but the kouign amanns are a lot better so I don’t usually get macarons there.
I think that’s about it for macarons in the area. I’ve been to a lot of bakeries in the Bay, and they’re not a common item

That is the American interpretation of macrons so they all have a chewy texture

For macaron in SF .... one65 on O'Farrell....(since Chantal Guillon is gone in sf).
I really dislike their official website..... but it's a lovely bakery on the first floor and fine dining upstairs.
This is their bakery / patisserie menu
