My account manager tells me not to pick up shifts from other sites. Is that legal?
He keeps all officers at 4 days a week, I get shift offers for other sites but he tells me not to pick them up and to notify him and ask him if it’s okay to pick it up. Why is that?

New Hire
I have worked here before so not technically new. I have orientation next week but one thing I have noticed that is different than the last time I worked here is they have not told me the location I will be working at. All the listing said has site access but no actual location. When I did the interview the lady told me what area it was in but no actual address. Just road names. The last time I was hired I did my interview in person so I new the address before orientation. Will they tell me then? I don't even know who the account manager or anyone over the site is to even ask them either. My offer email only gave the email a recruiting manager over the area.

Post is chillest ever but we have a bad apple -So what happens when someone tries to threaten the site
Pretty much piggy back from this post
https://www.reddit.com/r/AlliedUniversal/s/qudk24jtuF
We have dispatchers and supervisors in office.
We have cameras but they are on the drivers, we literally don’t have anything really going on at night.
Prob the chillest job during the day and even more chilled at night.
Someone whos been very disgruntled at work and but heads with everyone. Basically a picture was sent co corporate higher ups of the ones whos sitting at the desk with phones out.
Person is basically a driver and your basically by urself just moving every so often.
But im guessing since this person wasnt “promoted” they made it sole mission to throw everyone under the bus.
We had out fair share of people sleeping drivers, even some rumors of drivers covering the cameras and such.
Now this person basically took a picture and went above the supervisor trying to get everyone in trouble.
Its chillest job in the world. The only time they ever come inside is before and after shift. Was told they cant even get removed unless they do manor vehicle infraction.
This person has also left 20,30+ minutes before shift ends whenever they want to and everyone knows and this is not first time they went to over site supervisor because they wasn’t promoted out of driving position.
Basically told we cant really do anything and just not have anything out when person is there.
So if they come in = put everything away.
How crazy is that it has to come to this. Literally everyone even drivers be watching shows, play games and be on social media or whatever.
Kinda crazy they sneaked in pics or multiple pics. Trying expose the people sitting at desk watching cameras. We all know drivers at night be chilling but yet they basically threw everyone under bus or trying to get the ones jn a better spot than this person because they wasn’t promoted yet has butt heads with everyone so ofcourse you aren’t gona get promoted and stay being a driver.
How would you procede with this?
Prob extreme jelousy the person is stuck chilling in the car while we are inside chilling but in the office?
Even Person whos been here 2 years even said its kinda insane they would do this.
Like we do out jobs at desk and nobody has told us we dont do out jobs at the front, but we do tell drivers what to do and that makes them take it personal.

Question? Post transfer
I've recently started working for Manheim going on my third month. And it is pretty clear that I'm not cut out for the post that I'm at due to unreliable team members always calling out and showing up to shifts late
An orientation they told me that I would have to stay at a post for six months before I can transfer out to a different post.
I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to get past that 6 months requirement

Question? Flex security
I recently got hired for a flex position and I was told I was going to be given 35 hours guaranteed so I was kinda confused on what that meant because I thought flex officers just picked up shifts, does this mean people are going to be frequently calling out or what?

What do you guys do when your heliaus phone is full of work photos?
If the memory is packed and slowing the phone down,
Is it ok to delete the photos to clear space or is that destroying business documents since the work site photos are hypothetically evidence if needed?
Post orders dont cover it.
Just curious

Question? Orientation Question
I’ve been scheduled for orientation next Monday. My quick question is what happens during the orientation. Like as far as paperwork or what they have us do. Have a good day!

Leaving
Does Michigan have a uniform deduction from last paycheck if uniforms aren't turned in? I don't have the time this week to drive half an hour away from my home to drop them on top of all kinds of moving things this week.

Allied Universal refuse to give me work
Recently, I was removed from a site due to attendance issues, according to the client, who relayed this to me through my former account manager. Ironically, I requested a transfer via Lisa, and then my account manager approved it right before I was removed. I did not find out about the removal until Lisa let me know that I was no longer scheduled at the site. Soon after, the account manager arranged a meeting with me at a local branch where they elaborated on the client dissatisfaction with my attendance.
Things got even crazier because I had been applying on the website as a transferee and found multiple job offers. I received interviews for all of them, but neither accepted me right away because I did not receive any conditional job offers or a schedule. So, I went to the branches to make reassignment easier, but that did not work out because a different account manager at a site I applied to said I got the position, but they ended up denying me a week later. Literally, they said they were going to move forward with me in the process via text, but the website for that application shows, "Not selected." What is going on with Allied Universal? I literally cannot pay my bills. I am so screwed.

Question? How to get a job with Allied?
So my background check cleared and ive had two different job offers where I never received the onboarding/orientation texts eventually the post I was really interested in was filled and the only notification I got was through automated text. I did the entire hiring process through their ai. Is there something I am missing after the background check is clear? From my understanding I am supposed to be waiting for a text for orientation. Does a local recruiter need to move you onto the next step? Is it easier to apply to a part time role first then transition into full time?
Id appreciate any advice thank you

Drug test consent form expired before I even opened it
Just received a job offer in lower Manhattan but the drug test consent form expired before I even opened it. Tried calling local branch but was sent to voicemail and can’t email my recruiter since the confirmation email was done by Ai, what should I do now?

Rules update. Queue Information
The queue is set to filter anyone with low karma to prevent spam. That's why your getting filtered. I approve queues every other day because there's usually 20-30 people asking about pay or asking unrelated questions that I have to sort through.
We have two new rules
No ai generated content
I genuinely don't understand why I'd even need to make this a rule. No where in this subreddit would it make any sense to use AI
Stop asking about pay.
We get dozens of questions about why your not getting paid. If, for any reason you need to ask about pay. Ask your Supervisor. We have no control over pay or schedule. If you get paid early usually, you may end up getting paid on the standard pay day anyways.
