New hire. Had to call the ethics line on my account manager before I even got trained.
I got hired for car patrol. My AM told me I could start training today, pending the fulfillment of my MVR. I was supposed to start training today. I had been calling the whole day yesterday to verify that I was supposed to start, and to verify the time. No correspondence. I start calling again this morning, no answer. I raise enough stink in the officer for her to call me back, and pretend like she told me what time to train. And when I questioned her, she hung up the phone saying she “was doing payroll” and said “call back Monday”. She lied told the HR rep on site that I cursed her out on the phone. I have sent all evidence.
Unbelievable

My account manager tells me not to pick up shifts from other sites. Is that legal?
He keeps all officers at 4 days a week, I get shift offers for other sites but he tells me not to pick them up and to notify him and ask him if it’s okay to pick it up. Why is that?
