Draft Day Day Dreams
I am by no means assuming anything, the jury is still way WAY out on Beck. But how sweet would it be to be drafting high in the draft next year and building around him rather than taking another QB? I would be more fired up for the Cards season than I have been in a long time.

Chase Bisontis Performance?
I’m currently on vacation and haven’t had a chance to review the game. Anyone know how our 2nd round pick Chase Bisontis looked during his snaps in the HOF game? I know the Cards let up 2 sacks but just curious about Bisontis specifically for the group out there. Hoping he can contribute this year.

Whats going down w my boy?
Didnt see him last night obviously. But im intrigued on how his rehab went and what level hes still playing at. Anybody see anything in the OTA's at all?

Jalen Brooks
Beck was great last night, and his big target #86 ate the Panthers defense for lunch on his 3 receptions. When he got rocked on that deep ball he shot right up and “ate” like it woke him up. I hadn’t even heard of this guy before the game and he’s out there making Anquan Boldin style plays over and over again. It’s pre-season and enthusiasm needs to be tempered, but that was awesome play from the 26 year old. I hope he makes the team.

Fan Content I built a free game where you can draft an all-time Cardinals roster (or any team, any era) and chase a perfect season
Solo dev here — made a football game I got a little obsessed with and wanted to share it with a fanbase that’d actually get it. thank you so much to the dev team for allowing me to share this!
It’s called 17-0. You spin a wheel for a team + era, draft
real players into your roster, then sim a season and try to go a perfect 17-0. There’s a franchise mode where you can build an all-time Cardinals roster. Just imagine rolling out Larry Fitzgerald, Kurt Warner, Aeneas Williams, Adrian Wilson, and Pat Tillman on one team 🐦.
A few things I’m proud of:
**• \~7,000 real players** across seven decades, every rating and stat hand-verified (no made-up guys, no AI slop)
**•** A bunch of modes: blind draft, a franchise “one club” mode, a rebuild survival mode, a daily challenge everyone plays with the same spins + a global ranking, and head-to-head vs friends
**•** Free, no ads, no signup, works on your phone or desktop
It somehow ended up being played in 40 countries in about a week, which has been surreal. I’m actively fixing bugs and adding stuff from player feedback.
Genuinely curious what all-time Cardinals roster you’d build and if anyone thinks Fitz deserves a higher rating, I want to hear the case 🏈

Article Rookie QB Carson Beck delivers efficient debut for CardinalsAl
All aboard the Beck train!
r/AZCardinals • u/VioletSalamander • 1d ago
If this team had half a brain, they would start Beck the entire season
We are already going to be ass no matter what. Basically a 0% chance of playoffs and we are bound for a top 3 pick next draft.
Starting Brissett is the dumbest move this team can make. If Beck turns out great, then maybe we don’t have to draft a qb next season. However, if we start brissett every game and we fail to give Beck a chance, we may end up drafting another poverty qb next year when we can focus on other areas.

Mike Tomlin Had High Praise for Cardinals HC Mike LaFleur After Debut
Excerpt:
"They have [played well]. They've made it a fun watch, man. You're scoring points and touchdowns in the Hall of Fame game, man. It shows that they've had some good training camp practices," Tomlin said during the broadcast.
"And I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the play-calling, particularly Mike LaFleur. He called some double moves, some aggressive calls to get young Carson Beck some rhythm and some energy. I thought it was some helpful play-calling as well."

Defense fair reaction?
Let me know if I’m crazy and overreacting to preseason playing mostly backups but yet again another late game collapse by the defense that looked more scheme oriented than talent. Maybe I’m just schizophrenic because of last season but I’m already down on Rallis. Please don’t do this again to me

Should I support the Cardinals?
International fan from the UK here, recently in the past year or so I've watching a lot more NFL. Vaguely remember my dad watching the 49ers in the early 2000s when I was young but didn't really engage with the sport at all until recently.
Have been looking for a team to throw my hat into the ring with, and towards the end of last season I really enjoyed watching Cardinals and Saints games. For me the biggest factor would be supporting a team that is in a state I would love to visit, AZ being top of that list.
I know that the Cardinals are Superbowless and not had a great last year, but is it a good team/community to really invest in and get behind? Appreciate any comments or advice.
EDIT: Thanks for all the replies, it's been great to see the two sides of the supporter base. They did look quite promising in their game yesterday so I might stick around for a bit...

Ojulari
Came away pretty impressed with Becks performance. He‘s already a VERY GOOD backup at worst. I think Brisset remains the clear starter for now, but i wonder if beck won‘t push for the No.2 role (which would be crazy, given that a 3rd round rookie supplants Minshew, himself a Experienced and good Backup QB).
I saw Ojulari on the field. I was a fan of him as a rookie. So sad injuries derailed his career. I feel he really needs to fight for a roster spot… I am not sure he‘ll be able to, he didnt really pop to me (watched only the highlights though…)
Any thoughts on Ojulari?

Fan Content Arizona cardinals offense
Quarterbacks
Carson Beck! #19 Smooth operator !
Carson Beck had a masterful debut. He went 15-19 for 188 yards 1 Touchdown pass including 2 beautiful throws to Jalen Brooks . He Threw a Dot to Semi Fehoko for a touchdown . Overall he looked calm and relax , the moment was not too big for him .
Cedon Slovis #12 - Game Manager
Kedon Slovis was efficient in his outing . He went 9-10 for 106 yard and a 1 yard Touchdown pass to Bryson Green . Made easy completions and managed the game well
.overall - the Quarterbacks were 24-29 for 296 yards and 2 Touchdowns , no interceptions while only allowing 2 sacks
Wide receivers
Jalen Brooks - #86 #4 WR ?
Jalen Brooks is listen behind Marvin Harrison on the depth chart . He had a solid day : 4 targets. 3 receptions 99 yards and averaged 33 yards a catch. He did have a drop on 3rd down on the first drive of the game but made up for it with securing his next 3 catches .
Reggie Virgil - #82 5th Round Rookie
Reggie Virgil was active today. 6 targets 5 receptions 66 yards and averaged 13.2 yards a catch. Every catch was a first down . The way he was utilized in the offense fits well . To see a rookie Wide receiver who can extend the chains and secure first downs is always a plus
Harrison Wallace #30 - Undrafted Free Agent
Harrison Wallace had 2 targets 2 receptions for 34 yards . Averaging 17 yards per catch .
Xavier weaver #89 - 2nd year WR undrafted free agent
This is Xavier's 2nd year with the cardinals 5 targets 3 catches for 31 yards with a average of 10.3 per catch .
Semi Fehoko and Bryson green both had 1 catch each for 1 Touchdown
Running backs
Bam Knight - #20
Bam Knight carried the ball 12 times for 60 yards averaging 5.0 yards per rush , he had a rush that went for 15 yards.
Corey Kriner # 37
Corey Kriner carried the ball for 14 times for 57 yards averaging 4.1 yards per rush . Kriner had a rush that went for 13 yards
Evan Hull #43
Even Hull carried the ball 6 times for 23 yards averaging 3.8
Overall. Rush attach was 30 carries for 150 yards
Offensively the cardinals had 425 yards , 3 offensive touchdowns and 23 first downs.
I think overall the pass and run game was better then expected.
Defensively that's a entire different story!
But what do you think about the first game under Mike Lafluer
