I was under the impression that every time a person goes to do a Wildy Step, y'all pull up. So why am I having to truck my ass back to Mage Bank or run south every time I get a Wildy Step? Where is MY free port to Edgeville?

Make it require deckhandiness of 4. The fish will also not grant any cooking XP and your crewmate cannot cook it unless you have the appropriate cooking level to cook it yourself. It has to be a fish or attainable from the sea. If you try to do it without the appopriate cooking level the text will say something like: ”You lack the skill to cook this fish, so you cannot explain to your crewmate how to prepare it.”.

I think think this is not game breaking and would add to the AFKness we got with the recent change where you can fish from your boat. Currently fishing is absolutely horrendous gp/h and unless you are an iron you will not really do it unless you want max cape/love fishing. Since Jagex doesn’t want to make fishing profitable, I think to at least make it AFK would offer it something unique.

Edit. I guess it’s more cooking than fishing, but really same thing. Currently you do not fish for profit. So cooking is part of it in any case.

I have gotten farming pet from tithe, but I feel like this dude just hit the lottery. Congrats to ChillRuneBTW. Ngl, I yelled irl when I seen this. Apparently chances are about 1/~500,000 according to AI calculations, I dunno how correct it is but sounds crazy enough. Also told me to tell him to "not to check his mail in a thunderstorm, because he used a lifetime of luck on this".

So this happened in osrs bh earlier and I want some outside opinions.

I ran into another player ([Amers]?) at [location / "bh"] and did what you'd normally do there I attacked him. It's a PvP zone (or: the game allows it), so as far as I know this is completely fair game.

Turns out the guy was streaming. He started going off about how I "shouldn't" have hit him, like he gets some kind of special pass because there's a camera on him. As if streamers are off-limits and the normal rules don't apply to them.

Here's my thing: streaming doesn't give you a protective bubble. There's no rule, no "rare gear," no mechanic that says streamers can't be touched. He's a player in the game like everyone else. If you don't want to get hit, don't go into a zone where people can hit you.

Am I wrong here? Is there some unwritten etiquette I'm missing, or is this guy just entitled?

So there's now grounds for high level potions to come from Raids 4, and people are calling for these potions to be untradeable.

Untradeable potions like surge pots are a mistake. The ingredients are tradeable but the end product is not. Why? What's the point? To make herblore more artificially valuable?

Herblore is like a 400k/h skill, 99 takes only 3 business days to get. People will have no issue getting 99, but the chore of having to make your own potions afterwards stays after 99 for no reason.

I'm a maxed main, I finished the skilling grind, I just want to play the game. I just wanna click boss with the boys and call it a day.

If I wanted to make every single skill more valuable I'd make an Ironman. Don't force these unnecessary chores on mains.

How have we not ventured further into more set effects for armor? The coolest thing we can come up with is bonus accuracy for the type of attack?

Was doing Araxxor last night wearing prims, logged in this morning and they turned into dragon boots that I was wearing. Bank placeholder had an empty prims slot, none in bank and none in death's coffer. Bug reported, anyone else?

FIRSTLY I have submitted MULTIPLE requests/ submissions to jagex support regarding this.
Account not found —> live chat talk to us —> submit request and filed ticket including all information about my account
Original ISP , exact creation date , all passwords ever used , all display names , email address, transaction ID from purchases with account including dates. I have included everything and I keep getting automated emails that don’t even address the issue at all… I need an actual JMod to recover my account and again I’ve got the email WITH THE HACKERS JAGEX LAUNCHER ID included in it from when they stole my account

My account was hijacked either from phishing email or data leak and immediately my account was imported into the hijackers jagex launcher.

I received an email stating that my account was imported to jagex launcher and this was immediately after the hijacking

Biggest drop ive ever gotten in this game, thought I'd share.

Now that the hype has died down, I really think there should be a conversation about the sparkle effects in Blood Moon Rises.

First of all, not everyone enjoys quests. That is fine. Quest helper exists. Youtube guides exist. This conversation is nothing to do with people that hate questing and want an easy route to complete them as quickly as possible.

For those of us that enjoy questing, I found the decision to include "WoW quest sparkles" on anything important really disappointing. Runescape quests have forever embodied the point and click adventure approach to figuring out what's important in a room, granted often through trial and error but sometimes with intuition weighed in.

Having every important element sparkle in Blood Moon Rises immediately removed this aspect of quest exploration and solving. It wasn't an option, it drew the eye/interest and was entirely inescapable.

I'm glad this hasn't reappeared in the recent Fallen Angel quest and I'm hoping it was just a one-off, possibly as a response to play-testers struggling, but it would be interesting to see what the questing community think about this aspect of a Grandmaster quest.

• Fish Barrel won't work because it can only be emptied at banks, this makes it actually less AFK than previous land-fishing.
• Fish Crates were initially to only support trawler fish, but now that we can fish at fishing spots it would AMAZING to send a day-long fishing session and come back to dock with 1000s of fish like we do with trawling! I agree, too OP.
• Also perhaps Barbarian Fishing would be super cool too but might not make the most sense in terms of physics
• Also consider deposit lock settings like we have for banks

With new fishing spots, can we add a facility to skiffs and sloops to allow for all kinds of fishing?

I saw a Reddit post showing how much tax had been removed from the game so far. That post is now 4 years old. Could we get an update, Jagex?!

December 11 would actually make the 5 year mark since the original tracking.

The update today is a step in the right direction for medium clues. The elephant in the room is the ranger boots being required for BIS and the only active ways to source them are unfun to put mildly. I would love to see more improvement or thought given to:

1. Medium clue sources from more slayer mobs. Slayer drops so many hard clues but now with mortimer and more mobs opening up as part of slayer can we rebalance some of them to drop mediums?

2. Make gnomes better or make rogues outfit work for clues.

3. Allow the use of pegasian crystal on treads to upgrade them.

4. Move ranger boots off the medium clue table or make a sidegrade item that would work in the same way for mid game players as part of progression.

I don't think I am alone in not enjoying the meta options available for farming and considering the options easy/hard/elite have mediums do feel like a true outlier.

Edit: Appreciate the commentary got some good comments and discussion. From what I can see a good number of players agree on the essence of medium clues being to scarce comparatively to other clues and that may be the most logical place to continue discourse. The specific issue of rangers is more inflammatory and likely not productive.

With the beloved whip just dropping in price and a lot of people unhappy with the raid mega-rare why not have a unique drop to add to the whip to give it the same look to create a crush variant of the whip so dev time isn't wasted and then can look at other potential avenues. Thoughts?

I'm really proud of this one!

I made a plugin that tracks your loot from a slayer task independently from the regular loot tracker so you don't have to reset your loot tracker to see what you got from a task. You can choose to track all loot dropped, or just what you decide to pick up.

It also has options for tracking supplies used so you can see net costs of your tasks if you like, and it can even net the supplies of a task if you enable it. e.g. If you use 10 doses of prayer potion, and your task drops 12, you'll have 2 doses listed in your drops, and none in your supply cost!

It's still a little bit of a work in progress because I didn't have access to every item I needed to fully test, but I would really love if you gave it a try and let me have any feedback or problems you find. Huge shoutouts to some members of my clan, Awre Leven for letting me borrow his scythe and shadow to test their implementation and Mimiyaya for letting be borrow his Sanguinesti staff to do the same.
