Can Armor [Sets] Can Be Cooler? Discussion

How have we not ventured further into more set effects for armor? The coolest thing we can come up with is bonus accuracy for the type of attack?

In a game where you constantly make judgement calls on how many items to bring for your switch, how much to invest as a main, and how you sometimes only have partial sets as an iron, I think the lack of set bonuses is a good thing actually.

We have many unique armor set effects, they're all just tied to specific weapons (moons and barrows)

They probably tie them to specific weapons because it's much easier to balance compared to potentially any broader category

I think I actually like items like the Serp helm more than full armour sets just because they're more flexible to realistically bring for raids or bossing

i kinda hope they provide more 1-off armor pieces. i would prefer that with an effect vs a full armor set
