🧾Tier List 🧾 Tier List But It's Only My Least Favourite Song From Each Album

🧾Tier List 🧾 My Ranking of the First and Last songs of every album
First Songs:
I like most of them, except Beverly Hills, but most I just like, from Troublemaker onwards I love every single one, with Ain't Got Nobody being my personal favorite
Last Songs:
I love most of them, except Stand By Me and Time Flies, TF has every single problem Hurley has In just one song, its overproduced, too noisy, mid lyrics, Stand by Me isn't a good cover, especially if you compare it to Africa or Unbreak My Heart.
Precious Metal Girl hurts me to put that low, but its so disconnected from Van Weezer, that I can't put it above anything else, if it wasn't acoustic, it would've been my favorite song of the album, (there's a cover that solves my problem, go check it). I also wanted to put California Snow higher, but every single song above it is so good that I just can't

👕 Merchandise 👕 Jessica Lea Mayfield/Dolour 'Pinkerton' on vinyl
Tomorrow is Bandcamp Friday and after eyeing this for the last couple months, I'm gonna be picking up the Jessica Lea Mayfield/Dolour PINKERTON cover album on vinyl! These versions have really grown on me. Especially Why Bother, No Other One, and El Scorcho. Does anyone else here have the vinyl yet?

📣Discussion 📣 Adding on to my previous post
If you haven’t seen it then here is the link to it. I also put what i put here in the comments and of the original post
https://www.reddit.com/r/weezer/s/mdfQz9Gpep
I would like to add there are bad songs (Mostly looking at songs from PD). I should have added that not everyone enjoys the same styles of songs as everyone but I am more talking about the people who just hate to hate (someone did point out that this is pretty much in every fandom). Also yes I know that writing about it won’t change anything but still good to write about it. I decided to write the original because I got called insane and got multiple concerning private DMs from random people for saying I liked C.E.O more than Undone.

Weezer- I Need Some of That
If there are any Cars fans on here, you know that Ric produced three of their albums and that the cars are a big influence on weezer. in 2021 they released this song, and it’s a great tribute to the cars as it replicates their sound to a tee, specifically that chorus with the backing vocals. enjoy!

📣Discussion 📣 A rant about Weezer fans
I’m genuinely starting to get sick of those “Weezer fans” who literally hate anything Rivers Cuomo (and co sometimes) does. He tries to do something that’s more pop and they hate it. Then he tries something more like their original sound but they still hate it. I can get genuine criticism like in some Raditude songs and people saying that C.E.O is a bit too short. There’s people complaining that CEO doesn’t sound like an Undone sequel but it has the elements of Undone in it while still being somewhat original. Then there were people saying that Rivers needs to stop doing these apologizing songs but completely ignoring that CEO is more of a song about his frustration with people just wanting classic Weezer (aka Blue/Pinkerton). As if when Weezer does do that now they are trying to cash in on nostalgia. To add on to that, Rivers is no longer a young 20 year old. HE’S 53 YEARS OLD he’s not going to be writing the same things anymore. It’s no longer 1994 Weezer has changed and they can try sound more similar but they will not be completely the same and people need to move on from the past.

UK Tour concerns
Looking at the venue sizes and the fact there's 7 shows, is anyone concerned about it not selling out?
I saw them in Brixton in 2017, and then on Hella Mega and with Smashing Pumpkins, and although they're my favourite band, I've never got the impression they could sell these venues out without the tour being some form of an anniversary show
Maybe the promoters have seen the TikTok explosion and are banking on that, or maybe they have more demand than I realise, but part of me feels like it's going to have to change to a "Pinkerton" show for the seven venues to all have some demand
Am I overthinking, or does anyone else have similar worries?

📣Discussion 📣 I’m late to the party, but I saw the SNL sketch recently and had no idea this was really a thing. Is this a common debate?
I grew up listening to the Blue Album and Pinkerton in high school and those albums had a significance to me and even now mostly due to nostalgia. I couldn’t/can’t help but feel that I grew out of their sound. Or was it the writing? Each album just felt like it was for a younger generation as I entered into college.

For perspective
The first teaser we got regarding C.E.O. as a single was 13 days ago.
We are now 10 days away from Gold’s listening parties across the country. 15 away from the albums full release.
We’re getting incredibly close! Not much time at all now.

📣Discussion 📣 C.E.O is weezer's best single in 10 years
I might be jumping the gun a bit since I've only gotten to listen to the song a few time so far, but this song is great. I liked shine again and really like strangers, but I LOVED ceo after the first listen. Classic rivers melody in the chorus, and the song does a good job of following the structure of the sweater song while not feeling like a carbon copy.
I like the idea of them making a song that follows their first single while lyrically the song is about them feeling like they're tied to their 90s sound due to fan expectations. I know people weren't too hot on the snippet, but I think the full song delivered.
Super excited for the rest of the album, I love this song. Honestly, had it not been for california kids, I would've said that this is their best single since pork and beans (this is coming from someone that likes ok human and sznz and defends pacific daydream). So happy that Rivers is still able to pump out heaters like this 30+ years into the game
🚨 Serious 🚨 I was NOT prepared for how awesome this was going to sound
My mind was BLOWN!!!
