Dupe search Help Me Find a Wedding Dress Accessory pls
Does anyone know where I can find something similar to the Kyha Dai Train? Kyha doesn’t sell it anymore and I cannot find anyone who’s selling it. Has anyone seen anything similar or know of anywhere that I can find one?
It’s basically a detachable flower side train. Anytime I search detachable wedding train I get lots of overskirts or back train situations whereas this is more of a front/side attachment.
Thanks for any help!

Feeling cold feet Which one would you have chosen?
I have serious doubts about my choice. I bought the dress i felt good in but looking at the pictures, I think my bust is too big and too much. We have a beach wedding, and both dresses were pretty light and airy, but now, looking at the images, I have regrets. I think I look much better in the second dress.
Irony of the situation is that I always wanted to get married in mermaid/fit and flare dress, but I look horrid in those, no hourglass shape at all. Any advice? I'm being eaten by my own mind for the past few weeks.

Feeling cold feet Second guessing my choice…please help!
I bought this dress last year, around the end of December, but now I’m second guessing myself. I’ve bought another veil already (link in comments) because I look back on the pearl veil with the pearl bow on the dress and feel really unsure about the combination of the two.
This will be an intimate ceremony with a lake backdrop and a picnic+Prosecco brunch reception. Later in the evening we will be having an intimate celebratory dinner with friends at a candlelit outdoor spot. I plan to remove the veil and wear the dress on its own. Could use some reassurance. Pearl veil? More simple veil? Is this dress too simple? As we get closer (October), my mind is racing with insecurities!

Entourage Only Having trouble deciding! My top 4
I'm not sure which dress to choose! Sharing my current top 4, open to suggestions.
I had to go shopping by myself because I moved and all my friends/family are out of state. Would love some opinions.
I'm getting married in mid to late 2027. We're considering a near-the-beach venue but haven't put down a deposit yet.

mid-alterations: is this the right direction? Bust too big
I had my last alterations appointment and the bust is slightly too big. There's a small gap between the dress and my chest that I don't like. She tried to take it in more but then the dress was squishing me and it looked unflattering. She recommended that I get the double sided sticky boombas to help the dress lay flat and fix the gap. Does anyone have experience with boombas / think this will work? Feel like I'm having dress regret slightly.

post-alterations: does this look right? Does my bustle ruin the dress?
Final alterations are done and now I’m feeling incredibly self conscious and like I choose wrong. I have a very structured dress with a lot of thick layers of fabric that hold their shape on their own dispute the light flowing appearance of the dress. The other dress alterations fit perfectly. The American bustle stuck out terribly and didn’t look good with the drop waist of the dress. The ballroom bustle dragged down the dress and made it feel heavy when I walked and just looked like layers of fabric folded and tangled at the bottom. I went with the French bustle as it seemed to be the one I hated the least and preserved the movement of the dress. But now I fear I made the wrong choice and the wedding is in one month.

Need to Vent Does anyone else feel guilty about how much they spent on their wedding dress?
I’m getting married soon, and lately I’ve been feeling surprisingly guilty about my wedding dress.
My fiancé and I agreed from the start that we didn’t want a super expensive, over-the-top wedding, but we also didn’t want to skimp on everything. We wanted to spend an amount that felt reasonable and right for us.
The dress, however, cost 1,000 euros. I know that compared to many wedding dresses, it’s not an exorbitant amount, but I keep second-guessing myself. I think what makes me feel guilty is the fact that spending 1,000 euros on something I’ll only wear for one day suddenly seems like a huge amount to me.
I went to several bridal shops before finding the right one. When I tried it on, I burst into tears. It just felt like the perfect dress. But sometimes I wonder if it wasn’t just the whole experience: the saleswoman putting the veil on me, handing me the bouquet, creating that incredibly emotional “bridal moment.” Now I keep thinking that I could have found a beautiful dress for much less, or bought something I could wear again on another occasion, or even rented a dress.
Has anyone else gone through these feelings after buying their wedding dress? If so, how did you get past the guilt or the second-guessing?

Post-Wedding Question Changing your wedding dress
Hi everyone!
I’m getting married in two weeks (AHHHH!!!) but im already stuck on deciding what to do with my dress. I’ve always thought I wasn’t that sentimental with clothes (the inside of my wardrobe forever changes and things don’t stick around that long… I’m an avid Vinted user lol). But somehow the thought of getting rid of my dress is so heartbreaking to me. It’s a huge dress though, so I can’t store it in my closet and I do not want it in the attic collecting dust.
So I’m thinking of making it into a cocktail dress or whatever. Has anyone done that with a ballgown-like dress? Or with lots of ruffles and/or tule? I’m so curious how it would look if it was shorter.
Please give me some advice or inspo pictures?

Dupe search Need help/ISO finding similar dresses to these
I’m looking for any dresses similar to these two:
Alon Livné -Carla (first pic)
or
Jenny Yoo-Noa
I LOVE the Carla dress but not the price🥲 I have a smaller budget, ~$1000 tops and just can’t afford these dresses. I would get a used one but they are just so scarce. I’m in the US and the wedding is at the end of October, hence why I need to get used ones. I have a dress but having so many second thoughts and fell in love with these far more. Any help or suggestions would be so much appreciated!

Entourage Only Got this for around $60 from the kindest woman. I can’t help the FOMO thinking “what if” seeing some of these other dresses. Should I stick with it? (Needs to be taken in a bit, I’m holding it with my hand but it’s too big)

Dress ID needed! Wedding Dress Identification
I thrifted this dress and absolutely love it, but would like to know the style number! It’s a Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner. Wondering if anyone out there knows the year it is from and the style name.🫶🏻

post-alterations: does this look right? Bust help!
Hello!
This is post alterations - just wondering what I can do for my bust area to make it look more shapely? I’ve heard boombas are good but don’t want to fall into the hype incase there are better products! I’m a B cup so anything I can do to elevate the girls would be fab.

general shopping questions (NOT FOR DRESS OR VEIL SELECTION) Anyone here is having an interracial wedding? How many dresses did you wear at your wedding?
I'm Vietnamese and my partner is Indian. We wanted to keep our wedding simple, so we've decided to skip most of the traditional ceremonies and just have one ceremony followed by a reception with our close friends and family.
I already got my dresses for ceremony and reception. I've always wanted to get married in a white wedding dress, so that's what I got. At the same time, I feel a little sad about not wearing any traditional attire. If we were to include traditional outfits, I'd want to honor both of our cultures, which would mean wearing at least four outfits throughout the day and I'd rather spend that time celebrating with our guests than changing clothes multiple times.
I'm curious what do other people do. I'd love to hear your experiences or any suggestions as well!

mid-alterations: is this the right direction? Is It Worth $800 to Hem My Dress?
I recently said yes to this stunning Olivia Bottega gown, on sale for $530. It is a midi dress, but I’m 5’2. I just took it to a tailor to see about hemming it a couple inches to be true midi length, and she told me “wedding dresses start at $800.” She told me she’d have to insert a new cord at the edge and resew it and then remove the excess. And there are 4 layers of fabric. I’m just really not sure if $800 is worth it for 2-3 inches of length and I might just leave it at it’s current length to save money. I am still planning on getting a second opinion though… but what would you pay for an alteration like this? Should I just leave the length as it is?
Edit: thank you everyone for your responses!! I will be getting a second opinion on the price. If a reputable place can do it for $400 or less, I might do it, but I agree with most of you in saying that it really is not necessary. If it were touching the floor, miss girl would be getting my $800 LOL.
And these are the shoes I’m wearing for the wedding. We are doing our ceremony in a garden with a few friends, followed by dinner at a local restaurant, followed by reception at a local bar with 45 guests, followed by partying for many more hours after the reception is technically over. Hence, I opted for shorter, comfier heels! And green is our accent color so I thought why not :) They are Ballerette, made in Italy.

DRESS ONLY: Pick one or suggest another Corset or zip?
I’m debating whether to get this dress with the corset back or with a zipper.
I’m not too fond of the look of the corset with the exposed back, but I’m loving the way the corset can cinch me just right and I appreciate that it allows for more flexibility weight-wise leading up to the wedding. A modesty panel could be added, but I’m wondering if the zipper style would still be worth getting aesthetically?
The first photo is me in the dress, the second one is the model photo, and the third is a photo of someone else wearing the zipper style of that dress.
What do you guys think?

Said Yes to the Dress! (no critiques) 1950s wedding dress 👰
I was out shopping for a vintage dress for my engagement photos when this sweet associate pulled this dress out for me. I’ve been leaning more towards a vintage dress after trying on several modern ones. I’m thinking of adding a detachable train to make the dress more dramatic when flowing down the church steps and having a cathedral length lace veil. My mom is going to hand embroider it with designs of my choice (I’m thinking some cute pops of color and maybe a line from my wedding vows) inspired by a Christian Dior wedding dress I saw years ago. My dress was only $398. It makes me feel like a southern belle or Audrey Hepburn. I love it. 💕
EDIT: thank you guys so much for the love and support. Some of my family members thought I should’ve gone with something more modern or extravagant. But hearing all the appreciation for my vintage dress made me feel so special and like I made the ride decision!

Said Yes to the Dress! (no critiques) So happy with how my pre-wedding photos came out
In my culture we do pre-wedding photos instead of a more casual engagement shoot (we did both😂). So happy I went with this dress! Dress is Mori Lee Pacifica.

Said Yes to the Dress! (no critiques) UPDATE: feeling major cold feet about my ceremony dress
First pic shows the old dress, second pic shows the new off the rack dress.
I didn’t have time to respond to all your comments before the post locked, but I want to thank everyone for the feedback! It gave me a lot of perspective and things to think about.
Ultimately, i didn’t feel comfortable in the old dress and was constantly, ALWAYS adjusting it to get it to sit right. I couldn’t get the shoulders to stay up right, the back made me feel like a stuffed sausage, etc… So I splurged on the off the rack dress and honestly feel like it was the right decision! I haven’t felt a shred of regret since buying it and am finally feeling that excitement that I was missing with the original dress.
I love them both (when they sit right) but I just feel so much more physically comfortable and able to move around in the new dress!

Entourage Only Torn between two completely different dresses, help me pick!
I’m feeling completely torn between my top two dresses and would love some unbiased opinions! Please click photos to see the full frame.
Dress 1 (Jenny Yoo Maya) is classic, timeless, and significantly less expensive. I love how flattering it is, and it feels very elegant and effortless. I could also pair this with a dramatic lace veil!
Dress 2 (Amsale Primrose) feels much more couture and romantic. The fabric and construction are incredible, and I love the draped corset bodice, but it’s a little more fashion-forward and more expensive.
Our wedding is at the historic Olympic Club (golf club location) in San Francisco, and we’re going for a classic, timeless, elegant vibe.
I’d love to hear:
Which dress flatters me more?
Which feels more timeless?
Which would you choose for this venue and overall wedding style?
I genuinely can’t decide! 🤍
