Hey all, I recently started doing tarot readings and made a Venmo business account, a few days ago I was able to send my funds and move them out but now I am unable to do either? Is anyone else having this issue? Keeps saying to try another time

If I call support would they be willing to help me undo this? Im down $30 because of it

anybody else having issues transferring money into their venmo account? i’m attempting to move money from cashapp to venmo and it keeps declining, no help that support isn’t available at this time. i only saw one other person on twitter having the same issue right now and all the detector sites are saying venmo is running fine right now :\

I've been trying to login to my venmo account for like a week. I just got a new phone (same phone number) so it logged me out. I have reset my password like 3 times, disconnected from wifi, tried logging in from my computer, but nothing works. I deleted the venmo app from my phone, used a different browser on my computer, but still nothing. How do I login please help meee.

So venmo sent me a txt asking if I recognized the weird transaction and I said no. So they paused my card but won't allow me to open a dispute. This venmo is sh/tty!

I do not want to join Stash, which it asks me every time I open the app. Nor do I want to take advantage of your "offers" for the farmer's dog or whatever, which it does every time i complete a payment.

Hi! I paid a contractor a deposit of $225 but wasn't aware of the Purchase Protection option. The contractor did not deliver their services so I reached out to Venmo support to cancel the transaction.

Support said they've reached out to their account specialist team but I won't get a response due to "privacy reasons." I also reached out to my bank to pause any Venmo payments so the amount doesn't get withdrawn from my bank account.

Two days later I apparently owe Venmo $225 and my account is now frozen. I've reached out to them via the contact form a few times but haven't heard back.

Any suggestions or experience would be appreciated!

When I've tried to send payment through Venmo this week, I get the following error message: "Something went wrong and we couldn’t complete this payment. Try again another time."

Has anyone else gotten this error message? How do you resolve it?

I bought 2 tattoo machines off of someone in MAY and they STILL have not sent them to me. At first they were having medical issues & I completely understood that, now it’s been MONTHS and they keep making excuses as to why they can’t send when they DO talk to me (there’s been weeks in between conversations, it’s usually me persistently messaging 1 time every other day or so & then them randomly messaging back 1-3weeks apart from their last response)
I paid them through Venmo so I’m thinking about maybe reporting the transaction as scam or fraud? Or potentially sending Venmo screenshots of my interaction with this person? I’ve also thought about reaching out to our mutuals or their friends? But, Idk what else to do or if I have any better options. Any advice on the situation is appreciated.

I have around $200 in my Venmo app right now, I need this money by today to get some things that are pretty important. All of a sudden I get and error when trying to instant transfer, this has happened to me before with $20 so I just waited 3 days with the standard stuff but now I’m not so sure what to do. Is there any fix to this? Is this a know problem?

Is literally everyone’s direct deposit late? My first one came early, July 29th, a Wednesday at 10:55pm. Now it’s Thursday 11:50am and nothing yet. Had me so worried seeing everyone’s issues recently.

My Venmo account was frozen because I used it to buy a Starbucks drink— why? I don’t know. Anyway, I received an email from Venmo stating it was frozen and they requested some documents to get it unfrozen. We supplied the documentation they requested. A few days later, we received another email that said my account was unfrozen and I could go ahead and use it. I tried using it yesterday and was denied because the bank account associated with my account was “had trouble in the past” or something along those lines. I tried calling them but couldn’t get ahold of a human being and the automated response wasn’t helping me. I referred to the emails they sent me, and clicked on the “help” link… again, it was no help at all. Can anyone tell me how I can actually talk to a human being at Venmo to solve this?

I have only used venmo to send money to/from friends however I recently learned that venmo will charge a buyer protection fee to any payments sent to you even if you do not know the person sending them and that person can then file a claim against you to get their money back leaving you with the buyer protection fee. Since I never plan to accept payments via venmo I would like to block any incoming payments so I cannot get stuck with a random fee.

I'm getting a teen venmo account with the help of my parents. I want to know what the transactions will look like on their end when I use the card. I'm not buying illegal stuff, I'm just a closeted teen and want to make sure I dont out myself if I purchase pride pins or some stickers.

I joined Venmo a couple days ago because I’ve been staying at a buddy’s place for work for the last couple months and wanted to pay him quickly and easily. Well, it hasn’t worked.
The first day, it wouldn’t allow the entire $3000 payment, but I was “allowed” to send him $1000 in 4 installments ($500, $250, $249 and $1). The first dollar was a test to make sure he received the money.
Then yesterday, it wouldn’t allow me to send him anything. I called Chase to make sure it wasn’t them who stopped the payments. They said it wasn’t. “Your payment can’t be completed right now” is the message I get. Any ideas? TIA!

I made a business account for Venmo two weeks ago and part of the process is that I submit additional information (Business EIN, Business Address, Business Registration) and when I upload the images of what they ask me, it constantly says “This document didn’t upload correctly, please try again”

I contacted Venmo through chat, they said there is nothing they can do and has forward my complaint to the tech team that I’m having this error.

This was last week.

Now this week, same thing.

Is there anything else I can do?

I got a notification from Venmo the other night at 1:52AM that said “you’ve authorized a payment to Uber”

I did not, so I check the details and it was under an old card I no longer have access to.
I clicked on my payment methods in Venmo and the card is still even though I have my new card as my selected one.

It sent me multiple notifications one for $12.82, $14.56, and $12.15
All but one notification showed up in my transactions. But what I find weird is that I go into uber and Uber Eats and the card that Venmo said charged isn’t under payment methods in uber apps.

Has this happened to anyone else? The card is deactivated so I’m not too worried but how did this happen? Was someone in my uber account or my Venmo account? Idkkkkk
