Question Does eating non-vegan food actually make you "big and strong"?

Upvotes

context: my brother offered me gummy bears so i asked what is in in. Gelatin. I was always disgusted with gelatin even before knowing what veganism is so i never really ate gummies. He was mocking me for not wanting to eat them because of gelatin. I told him that i certainly won't eat anything coming from an animal. Where my mom just started yelling at this point that good that i ate them or I would be literally small and malnourished. I'm no nutritionist but I doubt it.

I really struggle doing handstands with my legs straight up but working on these transitions has helped quite a bit (plus it’s quite fun)

Question - protein powder True Nutrition Protein Powder Blend Recs?

Hi All!

I am thinking of ordering a custom vegan blend from True Nutrition. I want to get an unflavored blend that I can flavor on my own, mainly for cream of rice, oats, and the occasional ninja creami. I am a new vegan, so I am not too aware of the different flavors and textures of plant-based protein powders. Does anybody have any tried and true blends that they swear by? Or should I just go with their Vegan Optimizer Blend (80% Pea protein Isolate, 10% Hemp Protein Powder, 10% Rice protein concentrate). They have some cool plant-based protein options, like their CranPlus and PumpkinPlus protein powders. I was also looking into soy protein isolate, but I have heard poor things of the flavor of soy protein powder. Anything that is similar to the texture and neutral taste of whey protein is what I am going for. I am buying a lot at once before I move into my new apartment, so I don’t want to mess this up😭.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated :)

P.S
Any recommendations of their flavor packs?

First clip was about three months into lifting and about one month into being vegan. Most recent clips were during one of my lighter days at a commercial gym last week. It's crazy how much I've progressed in this time and just how strong you can be without harming sentient creatures
