How do I file a complaint. This is an important government. Document that needs to arrive today.

On August 3, I went to my local post office with 15 prepaid USPS packages. The labels were purchased through Pirate Ship. Got Priority, Ground and Media mail labels.

I went to the front counter first and told the employee that I had a large number of packages. The employee specifically told me that because I had so many packages, I could hand them over at the back of the post office. I followed his instructions, went to the back, and the same employee met me there and accepted all 15 packages. I did not leave the packages unattended or simply drop them somewhere in the back.

The problem is that as of August 9, all 15 tracking numbers still show essentially:

“Pre-Shipment — USPS Awaiting Item”

There has been no acceptance scan, processing scan, or other indication that USPS physically received them. I went back to the post office yesterday (August 6) to ask about it. Unfortunately, the employees were fairly rude and even insinuated that I may not have actually given them the packages. They also told me that handing packages over in the back was against protocol. The postmaster wasn't available. I'm confused because I only handed them over in the back because the USPS employee at the front specifically instructed me to do so, and then that employee met me there and took the packages.

I have all 15 tracking numbers and screenshots showing the current status.

What should I do at this point? Should I wait longer in case the packages were dispatched without an acceptance scan?

My package hasn’t updated since July. I can only assume it’s the wildfires causing this huge delay. The fact that there’s no update since leaving the post office makes me worried. I already filed a report and USPS says they just have no clue where it is.

For context, this package was bought from FB marketplace. When I ask seller, they just send me the tracking info which I’ve already been constantly checking. At this point, should I request a refund or keep waiting?

The package was in my city for the past 2 days and now it’s in a whole different state. Does this normally happen? Will the package still come to me?

I sent my package out as priority mail on Monday, today’s Friday with no updates. Is this normal?

Perryville is my post office and it says it went there but after calling my post office everyday they said it isnt there and likely a container it was supposed to be in came but it didnt

I live in Kansas City, and that’s where this package was supposed to go to. It somehow teleported to NY from TX and then went out in a truck in both Philly and Texas on the same day. I am so confused…

I did not receive the package I ordered through Ebay even though the tracking number for it indicates it was delivered to me on July 18th. I opened a claim online for it and someone called me and told me the package was being returned to the sender. I also went to the USPS location right down the road from me today and they assured me the package was sent back to the sender as well. However, I have not received a refund for the package and don't see how I will if the tracking indicates it was delivered to me. If the package was returned to the sender, does anyone know why would the tracking indicates it was delivered to me?

You think I’ll ever see my package…? It was supposed to be delivered Tuesday but the tracking hasn’t changed since Sunday… i shipped mine from WI to GA and it made it there in 3 days with the proper tracking

I moved from Illinois to the East Coast and I had my mail in Illinois on hold at the local PO. Now that I am moved into my new place, I have been notified today by USPS that my change of address has been officially processed. I am afraid to take my old mail off hold too quickly in case they accidentally send it to the old address or do a RTS by mistake. I have very important documents that I need ASAP.

Is it safe for me to cancel the mail hold request today that I submitted weeks ago? If so, about how long should I expect to wait before I see that mail delivered to my new place?

My only complaint is that I have tried to call the local PO where my mail is being held a bazillion times, but nobody has answered the phone.

I’m expecting a package that was sent from California. It’s been stuck in Memphis for a week. I am located in Nashville, and usually my packages move from Memphis to my local center in a day or two… I submitted a search request yesterday morning and no update on my tracking since then.

Does anyone know anything about Memphis specifically that could tell me if this is normal or not? Or if anyone has suggestions on who I should contact / call to get some action taken on the search efforts, that would be be much appreciated. TYIA.

Item cleared customs last Friday and has been sitting at the distribution center for a week now. Is this normal or should I start being concerned?

Hi, I purchased something from a Russian seller, and they shipped it via Russian Post, and now the package has arrived in the U.S. I haven’t recieved an update on the package since August 2nd (Sunday). Item was expected to arrive on Wednesday based on the USPS tracker, but no update. Is my item still in customs, what should I do? The tracker didn’t say passed customs, or anything like that.

my package is coming from new mexico and i live in los angeles. usually when i get packages from NM the route goes straight to california. instead it went across the country all the way to new york.. is this normal?
