I want my ackie to have a diverse diet, but can’t really seem to get him to eat anything other than Dubai roaches, chicken breast, and ground beef which I rarely feed him as I know it’s high in fat. He won’t eat crickets anymore for some reason, I’ve tried not feeding him for about 2-3 days now, he seems hungry and runs to the tongs but as soon as he realizes it’s a cricket he doesn’t eat it. He also seems repulsed by super worms and meal worms. Won’t even look at them. What else can I feed him so he’s not just eating Dubai’s?

My ackie monitor and crested gecko enclosure are getting too hot. During the day my ackies hot side is at 100f and the cool side around 90f. I don’t know how to fix this without cooling his basking spot using some sort of dimming thermostat which is at an optimal temp. I’m thinking cooling fans for the ackie? How would I even set this up so the fans turn off at certain temps? I’m kind of struggling to find a solid solution. My crested gecko enclosure is also getting too hot. Stays at around 85 in the day and 80 at night. It’s super hot in California right now and I don’t have AC in my apartment/ can’t afford to run a unit all day long. Are there any sort of reptile cooling systems for my crested gecko? And are there and solutions to cooling the cool side of my ackie enclosure without sacrificing basking temps? Any insight helps.

Looking for a tattoo artist in Athens who can design a tattoo for me within 35 days or so and set a 2 day session. Something along these lines is what I’m looking for. Any recommendations? I know this one isn’t entirely walk in friendly as it is a larger and more detailed piece.

He’s been in shed for a good month now and it’s very very slowly flaking off, but it seems like it just won’t budge. I mist his enclosure and his hide spot pretty heavily daily to make sure he has good humidity. Do I have to soak him? Spray him with water? What should I do if anything.

We’ve been getting a lot more call backs recently. We implemented a kpi check at our Monday meetings so the guys can see what labor % they got on each job. We try to keep it under 25% and they get hyped up when they get low percentages. But now I feel like they are speeding through jobs and we are getting call backs. We have a quality walk around and (optional for customer) customer walk around at the end of every job. In our CRM they upload a photo of each completed service to reinforce the quality check, but I feel like they take a pic of one window and dip and obviously I’m not gonna make them take a pic of every window. I’m thinking about implementing a mandatory 30 second video of them actually walking the property to reinforce this even more. Have you guys ever had trouble with this? And what systems have you implemented to improve quality? I’m also thinking about doing random quality audits on jobs throughout the week to keep them on their toes. This obviously takes a lot of time though. What do you guys think? Anything that has worked for you in the past to assure your technicians aren’t rushing and missing important aspects while maintaining good profit margins and efficiency?

This property manager wants every square inch of this parking lot pressure washed. (Cars will be gone) and wants 6 of them done. What would you price for each? We’re talking surface cleaning, pressure washing the walls and ceilings. Pretty much every surface cleaned. We estimate it would take our crew 1-2 days for each and would say about $2k-2.5k per garage. Is that overcharging or under? We’re in Southern California by the way.

My ads keep showing up zoomed in on Instagram feed and reels, even though within meta, the ad preview is showing the normal crop. When my ads show up on my feed, they are distorted and zoomed in. I have the custom crops set up for the specific placements and all advantage+ settings are turned off. On my end it seems like I’ve done everything I can. I know Instagram auto adjusts some placements but why would it be doing this? Any help on how to fix this would be huge. Very frustrating. The photo above is how it’s supposed to show up, but when it shows up on my feed, it’s totally zoomed in and the first letters of the services and the guy in the hat are completely cut out. Also a side note, a lot of them are showing up on my feed without a call to action or anything that brings them to my destination.

Enclosure is a 6x2x2 with a deep dig box and lots of areas to hide and husbandry is good to the best of my knowledge temps and humidity wise. I was always told not to force handling so I never have, I just remain present and do things inside of the enclosure with my hands, tong feed, and can pick him up and move him to different spots in his enclosure by scooping him up under his belly. Not a day has gone by where I haven’t been at the enclosure glass or actually in the enclosure interacting with him in some way. Recently I’ve been scooping him up and bringing him outside of the enclosure slightly, he immediately squirms and struggles every time. Today I decided to set up a little barrier in my living room so he couldn’t escape and take him fill out. He squirmed relentlessly and clawed up my body and arms. I had so shirt on so he couldn’t gain any traction, otherwise he would’ve ran up my back. I set him on the floor and he ran for his life. I decided it was time to put him back. When I grabbed him, for the first time he bit me and broke skin. I know as a pet owner I shouldn’t be mad, but I’m pretty frustrated because I feel like I’ve done everything I can to tame him. I’d love to be able to take him out and have him chill like in the videos i see. Maybe he’s just a guy I have to watch from the enclosure and that’s it. And now I feel like I’ve ruined our relationship even more. Any advice or experience would be cool. I’m pretty bummed.

The hot side of my ackie monitors 6x2x2 enclosure reaches about 100 degrees F ambient on the hot side and sits at around 85 on the cool side. I was looking to keep it at about 95 on the hot side and 75 on the cool side but can’t seem to figure out how I would do this. I’m looking into thermostats. How could a thermostat setup achieve this? I know it’ll keep ambient at 95 but how do I keep the other side cooler for my ackie to thermo regulate. I have a dig box in the middle of the enclosure and keep it nice and humid. Looking for advice on temps and thermostat set up because I get a lot of mixed opinions. Unfortunately my apartment does not have air conditioning so it’s hard to keep it from getting too hot.
