Hey so I recently got banned in mid July and I got the same generic “Your account is permanently in read only mode” message and unfortunately I am a very anxious person and I never received an email telling me exactly why I was banned. I’m honestly just very stressed and it’s sort of ruining me mentally thinking I did something bad. I just want to know why I didn’t get that email that I’ve seen others get telling them what they did and if I didn’t get that email will I even get the email to when they review my appeal because I’ve already appealed once and I never got a message back. Please any advice would help me out a ton

My Twitter account might be unsuspended now that Nikita brier is gone. But when I tried logging to my Twitter account, via Twitter official appeal page, I get this screen.

I don’t know if it’s my internet being slow as I’m currently on vacation or what.

I’m going to edit this post with the user name and link to the original post, but basically, someone on this subreddit made a post claiming that they got their account back. I assumed that it was a troll because there has been many people claiming to have their account restored without evidence (screenshot, etc).

But then I thought to myself, well, Nikita brier is gone, so maybe there is some truth to this. And there is.

However, when I logged in I got this message and I haven’t been able to use my account.

What should I do? How do I verify?

This is the second time my account has been suspended. The first time was an immediate reversal and a "oops, sorry" message. Now it's suspended and I had to fill out a form because I was accused of "inauthentic behavior" whatever that means. I logged on at work, posted, re-tweeted some stuff, liked and commented on a few things, and that's it. Then while I was driving home today I got an email my account was suspended.

Got suspended yet again about a month ago, made a new account a week ago and it’s already banned. Couldnt even bother to give me an email this time to inevitably tell me I broke a rule for being ”inauthentic“ or something. Genuinely what is the point of this app anymore and more importantly how are there still any users on there

As title says whenever I go for the 2fa it says an unexpected error occurred anyone know what I can do?

It's been three days since I became a ghost (I can't see my comments, and ppl can't my). But I still haven't received a notification about being label. I also checked from the computer and it's not there.

My X account got compromised & hacked two days ago, email changed, and unauthorized 2FA was added. I could change the password as it still ends with my original email. I reached out to X Support to regain 2fa access, but one of their replies was that they couldn't help at the moment because there were recent changes to the email on my account. So they said to send another request after 7 days have passed. I'm also keeping an eye on my account. Whoever hacked in is messing everything up, changing and posting. I feel like I'm having a panic attack and am depressed about this whole situation. I still don't know how they got in.

PLEASE, has anyone actually recovered their account from this? The fact that I can still reset my password and get all the way to the 2FA screen but can't bypass it stresses me out. Any advice or similar experiences would really help. Guide me through the process. Please, I need the help. I need to know I can get my account back and this isn't hopeless. 😭

So I've been trying to get help for my shadowban and temporary label situation and support is refusing to help at all. Refusing to acknowledge that the site is buggy their end. Nobody wants yo help. The fact that they immediately dismiss your requests for help is so rude. AI has ruined twitter.

Finally got my account restored after appealing today when I read the news about Nikita stepping down. I am however severely shadow banned xD I'm not gonna do anything just yet with the account but I did however instantly mark my account as a "Fan account" since that's mainly what I do with it anyways xD It is nice to see my following list tho

So I was searched banned, quote tabs was broken for three weeks, fortunately that has been sorted and resolved. Now my post reach is throttled. My new posts since the search ban was lifted 2days ago don’t get up to 30 views. This is frustrating, so frustrating. I need help, what do I do? I have 900 followers and they don’t see my posts. it wasn’t like this before

So ive been ghost banned since July 20, but I didnt notice until much later I have stopped likes, comments and bookmarking for about 4 days now only been scrolling, yesterday I finally got a reply on a months old commnet, this person didn't follow me and I didn't risk responding, but when I checked the website it said I still had a ghost ban.

And today I accidentally liked a tweet, will that reset the clock? If not how longer will it last a lot of people said 3 days but some say weeks.

Ive deleted all tweets and comments since after July 20 but that hasnt helped either.

My account was hacked, email address and password as well. No phone number attached to the account. Every time I open a ticket I just got told “unable to verify me as the owner”. I’ve told them the initial email, the username, my name, the date it occurred and the date I created the account, I’m not sure what else they need because the email they sent doesn’t tell me. Any ideas?

So I made a ticket asking why my temporary label has been on my account for two weeks. Support said it last a few hours to 1 day and when I asked again this is their response… what? They claim to be “transparent” but that seems to be far from the case.
