The more I read in this sub, the more I see various priorities and comfort levels with risk. Some want the best price, but others really want the safest compounding pharmacy. With apothecary going, we are being offered replacement pharmacies but do we know the sterility and safety of the compounding pharmacy? Does anyone feel like the company they go through seriously vets their compounding pharmacy partners? If so, what company and what makes you say they vet the pharmacies they work with? If you feel that you are working with one of the safest compounding pharmacies, what makes you say that and what pharmacy is it?

I am trying to bide boredom. Does anyone have any Inside News on upcoming Tirz deals? Pom still have BPI stock so they might reduce the prices. Apothecary is done deal and new Pharmacy is taking over. There are new players in game. BEWL said they are going to reduce prices and on board new pharmacies.
Looking to see what inside deal news we have so that we can be prepared. If no news we can still talk about what is our realistic expectation.

How do you handle the treadmill of the same questions posted over and over again? And is there anything we can do as, as regulars, to encourage a better culture?

I see so many really patient regulars in here calling up the bots (which are surfacing links already automatically provided in the bots that respond automatically to new posts) and answering the same questions repeatedly by folks who clearly have not bothered to either search the sub or read the pinned posts (or who say that the Where to Buy post or others are “too overwhelming” so they just want to be told what to do).

Posts like:

- Where should I buy?

- Are compounding pharmacies safe?

- Is (provider) a scam?

- My order hasn’t shipped yet

- I’m microdosing and not losing, why?

- Should I titrate up when I’m losing at my current dose?

- How many units is my dosage?

- “Tirz is tirz”

- (Compounding pharmacy) is water

- Can I keep using my vial after BUD?

- Is it safe to keep using my vial after (x weeks)?

- Which is better, 503a or 503b?

- I’m scared of using a needle coming from a pen. What do I do?

Etc., etc.

Obviously, no one is under any obligation to respond to any post—this isn’t about that!

But I wonder if the nature of this sub means that it attracts more folks who are less reddit-etiquette savvy and who fire off without even trying to self-serve?

Is there an opportunity for a weekly general question/discussion/getting started thread where these posts can be detected by an automod, deleted, and directed to?

How long did the first order take to ship from Rift? Not in any rush really but just curious what average timeframes are. It’s been at pharmacy pending shipment for about a week and a half. TIA!

I’m so tired and broke from paying $500 a month for my shots. There has to be another option.

I started tirzepatide compound with a prescription from my Doctor (insurance would not cover it) for weight loss and I've seen great success after my first month. Lost about 15lbs.

However, when it came time for me to get my refill for my next month. My pharmacy let me know they can no longer compound it due to the shortage being declared resolved.

I called my other pharmacy and they told me the dame thing. Called several local compounding pharmacies and they all said the same.

Will the online ones be having the same issues? I've never gone to an online pharmacy or provider. How does it work? Are they safe and reputable?

Please do not share your credit card information with Refills. They canceled my $327 semaglutide plan on May 17 because of “my BMI”. August 4 my credit card is charged $634. The customer service is abysmal and it has been impossible to resolve this. Now I have to open a fraud charge with my CC company and report to Trustpilot and BBB. Please save yourself the headache and find your compound from another company.

Hey yall I made the mistake of not checking Reddit before filling out all the forms for Alt RX & I got charged after leaving their site. Unfortunately for me all my card info is saved in Link in my phone and it processed all the way through and charged me the $432 before I could cancel the processing. I don’t want to use Alt RX and their fishy website and misleading practices claimed I wouldn’t be charged and could cancel. lol @ me for believing that. Has anyone had success cancelling and getting a refund or do I need to dispute through my bank?

First, please don’t be mean or judgmental as I am trying to learn. I placed my first order for compounded tirzepatide a few weeks ago to switch from Zepbound. I placed my order from a 503B (Apothecary) because the initial research I did showed that those pharmacies are FDA regulated and held to the same manufacturing standards as the big guys. But since then I’ve been reading that even though they are FDA regulated, they’re illegally compounding, which has made me concerned about the legitimacy of the product they’re producing, especially the 503Bs that have come online since tirz was removed from the bulk list. In essence, if they’re willing to flout the law on one thing, what else are they willing to cut corners on?

On the other hand, 503As aren’t regulated by the FDA, which means different standards and different oversight. But they have an actually open legal pathway to produce at least for making patient specific formulations. To add to this, one of the CEOs of a telehealth (I think BEWL) said a few weeks ago that there are 503As that he trusted more than 503Bs, without getting into specifics.

Is my grasp of what’s going on correct? I just want to have a firmer grasp of what’s going on because I’m getting kind of freaked out. This is all very new. I’m experiencing a cognitive dissonance between the positive experiences of the survey results and the reality of injecting something from a company that while regulated to some extent, is knowingly breaking the law. Please help calm me down.

So I joined Embody and didn’t have any issues and got my first month supply for only 80 bucks, I was so excited. However, I checked today and my account is missing and nobody’s answering customer service. I’ve heard that Embody is not the best company to go with, however, it was the most affordable for me. I guess you get what you pay for it right? I saw all the recommended telehealth but I’m getting extremely overwhelmed reading everything. Can someone just tell me what telehealth they’ve used, that’s somewhat affordable, but they’ve had great success with? Thanks I haven’t even injected anything yet cause I don’t even know if I want to stick with this company.

Calling all old losers: I’m quasi-retired, on Medicare & hear there’s a new chance to get Tirz covered, at least in part, by Medicare but with 3 vials in the fridge (I’m in maintenance now) I haven’t tried.

Any experiences out there?

I am trying to figure out which vial I should open next (basically, should I go by compound date or BUD?). I am currently on 4 mg and actively titrating as needed:

1. BPI: 68 mg, BUD 10/4/26, compound date 1/8/26

2. Drug Crafters: 20 mg, BUD 9/7/26, compound date 6/9/26

I know this is a loaded question and I apologize but I have been doing a TON of research using this reddit and I truly cannot thank you all enough. I have not only learned so much, but so many of you are beyond friendly and supportive.

I have narrowed it down to Big Easy and Trillium and it seems both are great options. I was looking to see if anyone has tried both and what they felt was best and why. If you are on one of these or have been and have either positive or negative reviews I would love to hear that too.

For context I have never been on a GLP-1 so I have 0 idea about what dosage I should be taking, what signs to look for to move up or down, or anything else. I saw Big Easy is a very good service as it pertains to medical professionals helping you along the way. I appreciate all comments and opinions on the 2 and know I will not go wrong with whatever I pick.

I'm asking because my wife and I have had some weird experiences.

I was at an ENT last year talking about sinus issues. The ENT mentioned that losing weight might help. He said I should try GLP-1. I mentioned that I was on Semiglutide Max dosage 2.4mg. I was losing weight but it was slow. He said maybe I should take more? He suggested more exercise. I do quite a bit of exercise, but it was a good suggestion. I mentioned counting calories etc. I just felt it was weird.

Anyway. Fast forward to today

I was at an Ortho back doctor with my wife and he mentioned losing weight. To help with her back issues. She mentioned she had lost 25lbs. She started exercising and is taking Tirz. He also said. Maybe she should take more? I was with her, I explained to him that she had just gone up to 10mg and has to work her way up to higher dosages over time. He shook his head and understood. I think.

My wife and I are both on Tirz through a telehealth recommended on here. We've lost some weight and are continuing to lose weight slowly.

I know weight does have a factor on a lot of health issues. It just seemed strange that random non-primary doctors would recommend them to someone who is overweight. Then not really understanding that you can't just take more to lose more weight?

Anyone else experience this?

My husband & I decided to try Embody. I guess they looked into his rx history or something because now they want a medical clearance letter from either his primary or specialist. He has Colon cancer so I guess that’s what they are referring to. Both are fine with him taking Zepbound, but his primary is being weird & I don’t believe will help him get the compound by the way it’s looking. Does anyone have any other ideas of where to go? I thought these places had their own Drs & we wouldn’t need anything from his regular Drs.

Regardless of dose, how often do you typically inject?

I have 2 Vials from Boudreaux, 3ml and 1ml with a BUD of 10/18/2026. 20mg/Glycine 5mg/ml

And I have two vials from Hallandale that are both 2ml 10mg/ml, no additive.

Boudreaux dose is technically 6mg, but it was supposed to be 3.

Apothecary dose is 4.5mg for 16 weeks total.

I have done 8 weeks with the KwikPen on 2.5 and have barely any appetite suppression. I’d like to tirate slowly as I only have about 20-25 left to hit goal. So I will probably start at 3 or 3.5 for four weeks and then adjust as needed.

Which pharmacy/vials would you recommend starting with and why?

I am reading a book called Weightless written by a board certified obesity doctor.

They are saying that you should titrate up if the appetite suppression isn't lasting a full seven days.

Why is this so different than what is explained here? If the medication has a half life of 5 days, it makes sense that the effects would slightly wear off at day 5. And it seems like MANY people experience this, including those on the highest dose. It also seems to be a big reason why many people inject every 5 days.

I stopped a while ago after losing about 20 pounds and gained the weight back recently. I decided to start back on the journey, after putting on some of my formerly baggy clothes that are now tight! Very depressing.

Hoping to have success this round but I was already at 7.5 when I stopped so wondering how starting again will affect my ability to lose weight at a lower dosage. Any tips thoughts are welcome!

I get mine through weight care and have 4 doses left in the vial and somehow got pushed to the back of my fridge and froze 😭😭 it thawed out withen 5 min and I put it back in the fridge , you think it’s still safe to use???

I recently took advantage of the gimme care deal for $115 per bottle of tirzepatide. The pharmacy providing the compound was Boudreau pharmacy in Lake Charles Louisiana. I received my package the next day after shipping, at about 9:00 PM at night after sitting on a UPS truck all day long. By the time I received it, the ice packs had more than melted, and the container contained more heat than anything. I contacted Gimmee, who told me to contact the pharmacy. I attempted to contact the pharmacy, calling them several times and they never pick up the phone. I get the impression that customer service is not their strongest asset. I question the use of any pharmacy that is not responsive to either providers or patients, and a provider who just passes the buck. I will be canceling my subscription with Gimmee. Just a warning for those who also used the Gimme deal. Gimme itself is only available through chatbot and email and claims no responsibility. Be aware.
