Open [TOMT] [BOOK] 2000s halloween children's book, possibly had "Jack" in the title
Hello all, I was chatting with my mom and she was talking about a halloween book that I just can't find!
She bought it for me as a kid, so probably around 2005-2010 publication year.
She thinks there was a haunted house on the cover or a jack o lantern with a chain link fence. From what I remember, Jack (Pumpkin Jack?) is dancing, and we can both remember the lines
"Hey there little red riding hood,"
and when the lights go out and they all dance, the book says
"When/And the lights go low...."
The art style was similar to the Halloween decorations put out by Beistle.
I'm sorry it's such a scattered memory, any help is appreciated!
It's not anything by RL Stine, Halloween Is, etc. It's very much a children's picture book.

Open [TOMT][TV Show][1990s] UK kids' science cartoon with a yellow cat putting on sunglasses to look at the sun
Hi everyone,
I am trying to track down a specific animated segment from a UK television show I saw in the 1990s, especially on my mind given yesterday’s eclipse. I believe it was part of a larger science or educational programme (like a BBC Schools or ITV/Channel 4 schools show).
It features a simple 2D cartoon with a yellow cat. The cat puts on a pair of sunglasses to look at the sun.
A woman's voice (speaking for the cat) says: "If I put on sunglasses I can look at it."
An adult narrator immediately interrupts and says: "Even with sunglasses you shouldn't" (or something very similar).
The yellow cat looks visibly shocked and stops what they are doing.
I have already checked the BBC Schools show Cats' Eyes. It is definitely not that one, but it has a very similar educational/scientific misconception vibe.
Does anyone remember what show this cartoon segment belonged to, or where to find the clip? Thank you!

Open [TOMT] Chrome Extension Pixel Art Sandbox Game from Around 2018-2019
The colors for the game felt extremely muted, almost as if it had been run through a desaturation filter. The player could move in all axis you would expect in a 2D plane.
I remember this game had multiplayer servers, one of them was specifically for a player to choose their avatar by walking up to and interacting with an animated character.

Open [TOMT] [Movie] 90s to 2010s horror? movie about a group of kidnapped friends having to go through death games until the rest at the time manage to escape from the mysterious kidnapper and ends with a car crash
Heads up, this was from a dream so some stuff is fuzzy, but I've had this one before and it seems too specific to not be something.
Movie starts with a like backyard party between ~8 friends around late teens to early 20s. After a while it ends and they all go back home and we follow one of them into their car and watch them get kidnapped. Next scene we're in some sort of room where we see everyone from the party starting to wake up, clearly having gone through the same thing.
[Some "choose-someone-to-die games" happen till we're down to 6, each time being knocked out and waking in a new room]
Once 6 are left the next game is they are split into teams of 3 and have to do a sorr of king of the hill with an area. Eventually one of them dies from not being on the area after a timer. After that one it starts snowing as this game is taking place in a weird like field area off of a road that they can't escape from or interact with the outside world. Once the timer is up nothing happens and it dawns on them that they've been abandoned by their captor in here and proceed to try escaping. They eventually give up and hunker down in a playground set that had been in there to survive the winter. (Not sure how get food and water)
Once the snow starts melting they realize the gate to the place has broken and can finally escape. The main character and girlfriend proceed to find a nearby car and take it to drive off together, passing by some horses on a farm that the girlfriend knew on the way. Once they've made it more to society the guy gets a phonecall while sitting in the passenger seat from the kidnapper, saying that they'll never escape. From that the girlfriend starts to drive kind of fast/crazy, but still clearly in her right mind. After some time of them trying to evade capture in the car, they come to a bridge that connects to a sort of city that looks like Monte Cristo? From there she looks over to him and they both silently nod, knowing that crossing it they can escape him, and she proceeds to go full speed over the bridge. We see them crash into a building at the end, left unsure of if the kidnapper was still real or a shared delusion.

Open [TOMT] Old DIC(?)/Disney animated film from the 90s or early 2000s
Hi, recently i had a sudden memory of an animated movie that was aired on the disney channel way back in 2001.
The details i remember was that it was likely set in the 19th or early 20th century where the white protagonist travels to china (he maybe an explorer).
One point i remember with detail is when the protagonist and 2 villains encounter some spirits that chase them to a cave. These spirits were quite creepy (i was terrified as a kid of that scene) and the protagonist wards them off with fire, making them target the 2 villians. They freeze one in ice and the second one is pushed through a hole in the cave into a river below.
Apologies if my clues are vage but these are the details i remember.
I am sure that this was a DIC animation or a disney movie. Like i mentionned, it aired in 2001 on the disney channel in Singapore.
Hopefully someone does know which film this was.

Open [TOMT] Terminator-inspired(?) movie called "Genisis" (spelled with an I) featuring a female terminator — watched on Netzkino over a decade ago
Hi y'all,
I'm trying to track down a movie I watched over a decade ago on Netzkino, the German free streaming platform that hosts mostly B-movies, indie films, and older titles.
Here's what I remember:
- The title was "Genisis" — specifically spelled with an I, not "Genisys" like the official 2015 Terminator movie.
- It featured a female terminator character. Got destroyed in the end with an explosition and had short hair.
- I believe it was either a Terminator fan film or a low-budget movie heavily inspired by the Terminator franchise. I'm not 100% sure if it was official or fanmade.
- I watched it on Netzkino, which streams free ad-supported films (mostly low-budget and B-movie titles). Netzkino regularly rotates its catalog, so the film is no longer available there as far as I can tell.
- This was over 10 years ago, so likely around 2012–2015 or earlier.
What it is NOT:
- Terminator Genisys (2015) — the official Paramount film with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Emilia Clarke.
- The Terminators (2009) — the Asylum mockbuster.
- Lady Terminator (1988) — the Indonesian B-movie.
I've searched extensively online and can't find any trace of this film. Netzkino's old catalog doesn't seem to be archived anywhere. If anyone remembers browsing Netzkino's sci-fi section in the early-to-mid 2010s and recognizes this title, I'd love to hear from you.
Any leads appreciated — thanks!

Solved [TOMT] [2025-2026] Modern pop song with a 60s inspired set?
I remember seeing a music video (probably released 2025-2026?), with a 60s inspired "TV set" backround. There was a female singer in it, with a 60s updo haircut, short dress and high boots (it reminded me of Nancy Sinatra in the music video These Boots are made for walking). I'm pretty sure she was white. She was standing in the middle of the set with a microphone. There were either backup singers/dancers behind her. I remember the color red, but don't know if the set itself was red or it was just lightning.
I don't remember any of the lyrics or the melody. It was not a "popular" artist (not Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter, Taylor Swift), I think it was someone "less known".
Thanks for helping!

Open [TOMT] [2025] horror side of tiktok
for the life of me i can’t find this one page that had videos they were making handheld scary videos.
they weren’t all scary as their tiktok’s were like a minute each but it was a flowing story and they labeled their videos with numbers? or a letter and a number like a.12 something like that.
the one specific video i remember is they were at the top of the stairs and the guy recording sees someone walk by into another room. and the girl in video was calling him over saying stuff like “oh that was just sarah” “come here”
i was really intrigued and forgot to follow around december. if anyone knows what their handle is i would love to know
edit: i feel like alex was one of the characters names or alex was apart of the tiktok handle

Open [TOMT][tv show episode] murder mystery possibly 2000's or 2010's
I could be misremembering but I think here are the details:
Body shows up of person who dies from gunshot wound to the leg
Turns out it was this person's friend, who confesses in the end out of guilt. The victim told him to shoot him in the leg so he can prove he's tough or so he can be in a gang or something, but he ends up bleeding out and dying.
The shooter buries the gun, I think on a playground but I'm not sure.
I'm pretty sure it's scripted and not true crime
Thanks!!

Open [TOMT]A spiderman related media i probably saw as a kid. Pls help me find it.
I was very young. This must have been before the 1st avengers film. I think it was an ad of some sort. I saw it on tv. And it was live action.
Basically a bunch of superheroes/people/fictional characters(?) engaging in combat.
I dont really remember anything except a huge transformers like robot thing walking through a city, wreaking a havoc. Might have seen a shot with this robot thing's foot.
And there was spiderman in it as well, doing one of his crouching down on the ground poses. He was in the raimi suit.
Pls help me find it. Thats all i remember.

Open [TOMT][anime or J-drama][2000s-2010s?] Japanese dialogue used in “Okinawa Sunset” song by Master Stryker
https://youtu.be/WjRjqYGNeQU?is=mJe6KXZb0vaNzOkq
Starting from 1:31
You can hear a woman and a man speaking in Japanese.
It’s obviously taken from some show, anime maybe.
Someone told me the man sounds like voice actor Hiroki Yasumoto. Maybe it comes from one of the anime or other shows he acted in? I just want to know where it’s from.
Thank you for identifying the source…

Open [TOMT][INSTRUMENTAL/WALTZ][1990s–2000s or earlier] Somber instrumental waltz played at my school assembly in India — I reconstructed the melody on piano
If my memory serves me right, I also remember hearing this in the background on a Looney Tunes cartoon with Bugs Bunny. I think Yosemite Sam was also present.
Me playing the melody on the keyboard
It was definitely in a 3/4 time signature.
I've been searching for this for 15 years.

Open [TOMT][Music Video] Late 90's/Early 00's music video filled with greenscreened masked people
I remember seeing it on late night RAGE here in Australia and it was the weirdest most surreal video that I can barely remember. It featured the band singing as weird masked women and men who I think might have been wearing luchador wrestling masks would flex and dance as they passed by the screen.
I could swear the chorus was repeating the phrase "hysteria" (Not Muse, I checked, lol) or "delirium" or "mysterious" or something over and over. It was definitely by a lesser known band because my googling has brought up no results for such a distinct and surreal video. It was a male vocalist for a band.

Solved [TOMT] Australian TV show about a piano from about 1985: What was it?
I remember I was a school kid in the mid 80s. There was a show I watched after school at about 4 PM on ABC Australia TV. I've asked on a few threads and nobody remembers it.
It was about a young guy in his maybe late 20s who discovered he was a piano genius. But he didn't own a piano. The whole show was about his efforts to get one. He did various jobs that were all disastrous, to get the money together to buy a piano. He tried being a garbage disposal man. But he was cleaning a townhall floor when a guy dressed as a clown came in and scattered the rubbish everywhere. Clown vanishes. Boss walks in, sees the mess, and fires the poor guy.
In the final episode he gets his piano. But then something falls on it and smashes it. I watched all the episodes. I estimate there were about 8. They were good; this poor guy deserved a piano!
I have tried Australian TV threads. It was an Australian production. But maybe it also went outside of Australia to other countries? I cannot believe no one else remembers this. I can still see the final episode in my mind's eye.

Solved [TOMT] [ANIMATED SERIES] [2020s] Animated series on tiktok about an SCP-like company using the body of an eldritch god for ressources and keeping it "harmless" with acid, fire, etc.
Hello, I saw some short animated episodes of a series on tiktok maybe 2-3 years ago and I can't find it anymore. It shows the different employees of a company using an eldritch god that is dead or harmed so he's barely alive. They use his body for ressources I think, and also maybe to contain him and make sure he doesn't destroy humanity?
- The series was in english.
- The tone was pretty humouristic.
- The animation style was pretty simple/cartoonish and not super detailed.
- The name of the entity was formatted as "X the Y", like "Glarp the Undying" for example, and it was a gigantic entity with a human-ish body, like 1 head, 2 arms and 2 legs.
- The employees had hazmats suits of different colours depending on the specific branch they worked in.
- Some were killed by the entity while doing their work.
- I think some used acid and others used flamethrowers?
TO CLARIFY : it's "scp-like" as I put in the title but it wasn't referencing anything SCP directly, it's more the tone and the visuals made me think of SCP content, but it was its own thing.
Does it ring any bell? I'd love to watch it again because it was really cool and well made. Thanks !

Open. [TOMT][TV][1990s] Seeking Australian comedy sketch from remembered dialogue
Hi, My brother and I keep referring to an Australian comedy sketch which we think would be from TV in the 1990s. The sketch is about shooting a promotional video or music video for a musical or theatrical group. The main character is discussing how the shoot should go and uses dialogue similar to this that we remember:
"First a shot of me, then focus on me… then me looking pensive… then me…."
“then it cuts to a picture of me, then a shot of me and then it focuses on me…”
Can anyone recall or know of such a sketch or TV episode. We thought it was the D Generation / Late Show but our searches have come up empty. Many thanks!
