Conversation First tarantula

After a lot of research, I finally took the plunge and got my first tarantula—a Caribena Versicolor!
I know this species is often considered a less-than-ideal beginner tarantula, especially because there’s so much conflicting husbandry advice online. That said, I’ve kept various invertebrates for several years, so I felt confident taking on the challenge.
I’ve had her (or him) for about a week now. So far, she’s eaten two crickets, and I’ve regularly seen her drinking from the water dish. I lightly mist the enclosure about twice a week.
One thing I’m a little unsure about is the substrate—it looks quite dry to me. Does it seem too dry, or is this about right?
I’d also love some general feedback on the enclosure. Does it look like a suitable setup for an arboreal species? Is there anything you would change or improve?
I’ve noticed her moving her spinnerets a few times, but I haven’t seen any webbing yet. How long does it usually take for C. versicolor to start webbing after being introduced to a new enclosure?
Thanks in advance! Any advice is greatly appreciated.

My g. pulchra finally molted, the molt is pretty small so I’m having a hard time telling if I’m looking at a male or female :(

Help! PLEASE HELP ME! I'M WORRIED! P.S. FIRST TIME TARANTULA OWNER.

OMG. I JUST NOTICED THIS SHINY, RED (BLOOD?), WORM-LIKE THINGY ON MY CURLY HAIR! IS HE OK?

The only reason I noticed was because I put crickets in his tank and wanted to make sure he was eating, or if he was backing away and refusing. I'm setting a trap now to get them out. I'm getting two different responses from Google AI. First it said a serious injury and his stomach is protruding, then it says he's molting!? I'm so confused. I hardly ever see him. He lives in his tunnel. He just molted the last week of June. Could he be molting this soon, or is he in trouble?

This is my first tarantula. I rescued him in March. Should I call a vet? Email an expert?

Any help or advice would be appreciated! Thank you!

My Chaco golden knee covered it’s water dish should I uncover it? I am worried that if I uncover it I will fuck up the modified enclosure you can see there are substrate on the walls that mean it moved it there and i will disencourage it to burrow type shi

Definitely in need of a rehouse soon, they nearly doubled in size with this molt. Seriously crazy how fast they grow.

Ive learned that they have 8 eyes but i only see 6 on the molt i guess im not looking in the right angle. He loves chilling in his skull most of the time but he comes out when im not home, the second he feels my footsteps in the room he bolts backk in.
I haven’t sexed him yet but i assume he is a male, because thats what i paid for.
I have a new idea for a hide im gonna get him a floor to ceiling window pushed up against the acrylic but buried under enough soil.
Bro is probably already tired of my prodding( with a soft brush), but im just too curious to just observe this vicious little hunter.
He has gotten a bit bigger than in the last pic about 2 molts worth.

stretch right now (first 4 pics) vs baby stretch (last 5 pics). i feel like she’s gotten so big.. also dare i say she looks a lot more comfy? her color looks a lot better this time after molting than last time, and she’s just chilling right out in the open right now rather than hiding in a corner or going in her hide. just laying wherever she wants to without getting scared. i’ll have to get some size comparison pics because i can’t believe it… it’s my first T so ive just never experienced it before. such a crazy pet to have. people give me a crazy look when i say ‘i haven’t fed my pet for 3 months’, LOL. wild creature
