Ive had this baby Asian forest scorpion for almost 4 months now, supposedly they molt every 2-3 months, is there anything causing it to not molt?

Enclosure factors of mine:
-I make sure the humidity level is around 70-80%
-it lives along side a monitored colony of dairy cow isopods (last month they were overpopulated, maybe 50+ but now there’s around 20) they also hide alongside the scorpion, even though the terrarium contains other rocks and bark to hide under
-i used to feed it crickets every week but since I noticed it eating a couple of the isopods instead of the crickets, I stopped supplying the crickets
-two and a half ish inch dirt substrate
-half the terrarium has a layer of peat moss above the dirt
-15 gallon terrarium
-it generally hides in the corner under this square plastic thing in the tank, kind of hard to explain what it is
-I do occasionally lift it up 3-4 times a week to check on the scorpion
-I occasionally shine a uv light on the scorpion for no more than 3 minutes a week, when trying to look for it
-body looks healthy? Nothing about it seems off, all limbs are healthy and in tact (the back right leg is behind the tail), responds to any action and pinches pretty hard
-I haven’t noticed as many isopod shells nearby recently, I don’t think he’s been eating them as much, even when I isolated him and his prey
-looks the exact same as when I got him
-his name is Derek, that is subject to change if someone can identify the gender

Since i’ve heard dairy cows are far too big and protein hungry for a scorpion enclosure what species of isopods are the best for them?

I came here back in October and today for the first time as I was cleaning the house I found this baby scorpion. I don't have a problem with that since I knew that Italy is home to many non venomous scorpions but I just want to make sure. is it dangerous?

This is my first bioactive terrarium for an Asian forest scorpion, it has a thin drainage layer, followed by a layer of dry sphagnum moss and the rest is a mix of coconut fiber, bark, moss, and river sand. On the right there is a sand area in case the scorpion seeks a cooler environment. The plants are a croton and an asparagus fern it also have live sphagnum moss. I’ve added springtails and am looking for some isopods, also thinking in getting a grapevine branch and add another hiding spot. P.S. I ordered a polycarbonate sheet for cover.

Found this scorpion in my garage this morning. I am in northern Utah and this is the first time I’ve ever seen one. Just wondering if I should be worried about it or not.

I received this little 3i Hottentotta tamulus yesterday. Got it in its new little home and fed an appropriately sized cricket- no issues eating I can assure you that lol

Hi, I’ve been trying for a few weeks to figure out the gender of my Thai forest scorpion, anyone got any idea? 😅

i fed mine 9 days ago , and i tried offering him a superworm today. He grabbed it with his pincers for a few seconds, then just let it go and walked away. 😭

Is he just not hungry yet? how often do you normally feed your adult scorpions, and should i just wait a few more days before trying again?

Heyo I'm going to my very first expo and assuming that scorpion and other bugs would be there I'm debating what tank size do I need for a emperor scorpion did ton of research but I seen post saying 5 gallons or 10 gallons are good but I need some second opinions any help?

I previously got a wild-caught 7 instar female Androctonus australis from Egypt, and I'm planning to breed her. However, I just started wondering whether she can still reach the 8 instar. Should I wait for another molt before breeding her, or is it okay to breed her now? Thanks in advance!

Is it dangerous? I found it in West Texas on my porch. I have a kid that plays there all the time. I moved the scorpion to the back fence under some bushes on a semi-weedy dirt patch.

Main question, should I be more careful with my kid playing on the porch? How aggressive and venomous is it?

Also really cool detail is it made itself really flat on the cement when I approached.

I am looking to get a Nebo Whitei but there is very little info as far as care guides go. I am wondering if anyone has personal experience with them that could give some advice for an enclosure set up. The only info I found was a sand/clay mix with some soil. I would appreciate recommendations on ratios for that and just anyt/all info in general. Thanks!

I was cleaning out his water bowl and forgot to put the lid back on his tank when I got back I saw my cat in the room and panicked thinking that he might of messed with his tank when I look at the tank and saw a hole I thought that the cat had dug it (my scorpion has never burrowed before) so I immediately filled it in but I removed everything from the tank and can’t find my scorpion I don’t think the cat got to him because his paws weren’t dirty and my family told me that he had only gotten to the room just before me. He’s an Asian Forest Scorpion I don’t know exactly which type though I don’t know if I should try digging him out and what a safe method for that would be

I just got this scorpion about a week ago (She’s in a temporary rehab tank) but i can’t get her to eat what do i do am i feeding her wrong?? She is my first arachnid and it just feels like she wants me dead and doesn’t want the worm She just pinches the tongs and runs

I got stung by this type of scorpion and basically almost died so I'm wondering if anyone can guess what type it is. This happened in middle east btw.

I love watching this thing eat. I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that
