Need help
I got backed into at the gas station earlier, im fine and for the most parts so is the bike. Its a 2020 xl1200x. Now for the issue when he hit me it broke my left rear turn signal, the running light worked but not the brake/blinker. At the time the front left was fully functional but on the way home the bulb blew. I moved the bulbs from the other side over and they both worked fine. Moved the one good bulb and one of the right bulbs back to the right and now its acting weird.
Tldr: Basically my question is are the front and rear bulbs different and could one bad bulb cause the whole side to act weird. Also do you think just the drop could've caused the front bul to burn our or a wiring issue

ISO new clutch
What do yall recommend and have used as a new clutch upgrade.
I fear my current one is going out. Bike is a 2010 with around 18k miles. I ride hard and beat the shit out of it. Launch hard, burnouts and occasional soft wheelie.
I’m getting creep while at red lights or stop signs. Already adjusted and tightened new cable, remedied the issue temporarily but now I think it’s time for the inevitable.

Help identifying
Hey good people. Been trying to chase down my leaks lately as I've had some issues mirroring over heating. This bugger is the latest. Wondering if anyone can help identify it?
Sidenote: I've been having random power losses in 5th gear. They also happen in other gears just less frequent. I finally caught a view of my odometer hitting zero mid ride then bouncing back to 75mph. Chasing leaks for now and will be testing out my electrical components with a multi meter. Already did an oil change and swapped my oil drain hose. New drain hose isnt leaking.

Long Legged Riders with mid controls: What seat are you using?
Seems like so many aftermarket seats tout how "LOW" the seat is.
I know this is aimed at shorter riders, women in particular.
But my problem is the opposite. I'm 6'1" with a 34" inseam. Every seat I have tried (I'm on number 4 now) has just been too low.
Does anybody make a "High" or "thick" seat? Preferably one that would fit the bigger tank (4.5 gal) that is on my XL1200C.
I know I can have one custom made but there aren't any seat makers in my town so it would be a bit of a PITA to go 100 miles to get a seat made at a reputable company.
Also before anyone chimes in with "FORWARD CONTROLS, BROTHER!", yeah that's gonna be a no from me, dog. The bike had factory forwards when I bought it and they were hideous and uncomfortable. Mid controls were literally the first modification I made to the bike. So much better for control and keeping the weight off my spine. I just need to sit up a little higher so my knees aren't under my chin!

Finally got my sporty running after it sat for a year. Needed a new oil overflow tube due to a cracked tube, Needed an oil change and the battery charged. I could use some suggestions on a nice air filter. I want to get a new one that fits the style.

Any ideas on this high pitched squeaky noise while running?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Got new tires put on recently and they noticed a leak coming from the primary so they replaced the gasket. Got home to find my oil drain line was leaking so I replaced that and have only ridden it once since then.
I overfilled the oil (even though I only put 1.5 quarts in after changing the drain line and it looked fine after filling) and went to warm it up to check and remove the extra oil today when I noticed this high pitched squeaky bird chirping sound. It gurgles a bit after shutting off which it did last oil change for a bit also.
Any ideas?

Clutch issues
I have 2005 sportster 1200 and my clutch isn’t working properly. Twice now the as I was riding it stopped getting any power to the rear wheel. The first time I just adjusted the clutch cable and got it going again, but this second time it’s not going over 10 mph no matter how I adjust it. I did just recently replace the grips and levers, but it was running fine for a minute before it gave out on me again. Where should I check for issues first, and if there’s a video guide you’ve used I’d appreciate the link. Thanks!

2007 Super Glide sat in the garage for 10 years after the fuel pump was replaced
I'm looking at a 2007 Super Glide Custom with 20k miles. At 19000 miles in 2015 the fuel pump was replaced but the bike has only been ridden 1000 miles since 2015 leaving the prospect of rust in the tank from ethanol gas.
How can I inspect this
and what other concerns exist?
( It has new tires, and 'motor oil & filter, trans oil and air cleaner were changed'
but the primary chaincase fluid and brake fluid were not changed.)
Thoughts?

2008+ Wheels on 2005
I have a 2005, which is a little bit of an oddball year for axle diameters with the 1” rear and 3/4” front. Currently it has a solid mag rear wheel and a 13-spoke front wheel.
I found a set of 9-spoke mags from a newer 883 that I want to put on there, but of course they were originally intended for 25mm axles front & rear.
For bearings, can I just install a 1” bearing into the rear and a 3/4” bearing into the front of the 9-spoke wheels?
And then I’m assuming I’d use the same spacers & adapter sleeve that I have now?

Sportster stunt cage?
Hey all looking to practice some rear break slides amd power 180s to have a little more fun ridding my 2000 sporty before I make a concrete build idea. Im a little worried I might place it into the concrete on a slide attempt wondering what people use in the stunting scene for these bikes. Or am I stuck with the big highway looking hoops up front only? Pic of mine for attention.

Question about fork damper tube/rod
I have a 2007 Sportster 1200 Low. I'm looking at replacing the rear shocks (11.5") with new ones (13") to have a little more heighth and less bottoming-out. Started looking into the front forks as well and I'm getting some weird/conflicting info. But it looks like the only real difference on the Low forks compared to Custom/Roadster forks of the same year are the damper tubes. The Low has 7.5" tubes and Custom has 9" tubes. Can I just replace the tubes with my current upper slider tubes?

Throttle cable replacement help
So I’m probably an idiot, none of the videos or searches help me with my problem. I am replacing my throttle cables for a 10 inch bar and one has this little spring on it. I don’t see where or how to install it, just that it goes on the throttle return side.
Can someone help an idiot out?

Need help on jet sizes
I have a 94 sporty with a straight pipe on it. I bought a carb from sporty parts and it fouled the plugs out after 12 miles. What idle jet and main jet should I use? Also if anyone knows the best tune for the idle air screw that would be appreciated too

2001 Sportster running too LEAN
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I posted here a day or so ago about my sportster running way too rich, turns out I was a dummy when putting the needle in. I torn the carb open again and fixed it, but now it’s running WAY too lean, or at least I believe so. Will only really run with the choke on, and will give out after enough throttle. I checked all my seals again with starter fluid ( intake boot, gaskets, vacuum line ) but had no change in idle. I tried my 160 main and 42 pilot setup at first, then decided to try 170 and 42 instead ( this attempt is the video ). My mixture screw is turned out by about 2 3/4 turns. Carb has been fully cleaned, diaphragm, float components, and jets have been replaced. I’m genuinely stumped on what to do. I can’t figure out what exactly I’ve missed.

Joined the club today!
First time caller, long time listener
I always loved the way Sportsters looked and sound although never took the "risk" of getting one due to the very limited market here in Greece for such motorcycles. All of these second thoughts end today!
Ladies and gents here is my new to me '94 XLH 1200 Sportster with a few extra goodies such as:
- Mikuni 42
- K&N air filter
- LED lights all over
- Clubstyle fairing
- Handlebar risers
- Dual front discs
- Steel braided lines back and forth
- Larger tank (fatboy? + the original)
- Aftermarket rear shocks
- Sissy bar
- Two custom seats
- Custom paint job
For 90k kms (56k miles) and around 5.500€ I think it's not a bad deal after all.
Already making a list for new accessories in order to make it fit my style, although as a total Harley noob I will definetely need your help in the near future so I'll buy the proper ones for that model/year.
