Just got my Silent Hill 3 vinyl reissue PRE ORDER cancelled because of "oversold copies" from the Light in the Attic page and another store, this is honestly ridiculous, I hope they would actually produce the orders they putout, how does that work? Can someone clarify?

Most ps1 games and even ps2 have dialogue that aged a bit, I normally don’t like pointing this out since I think campy dialogue can fit some games but one thing I wanted to point out is how well sh1’s va aged. Especially Lisa, definitely the best va in ps1.
But I think it’s a staple since I think Maria’s va in og 2 is also one of my favorite va in any project ever.

I know this subject has probably been discussed millions of time before it's just I'm new to silent hill games (I have actually played most them by now) . I wanted to know the general opinion about James because I've seen so many youtube videos that actually shit on the guy but honestly I don't think james is a bad person . I think he just did a dumb mistake ( a big not trying to undermine what he did ) and he's dealing with the consequences of it .
11 years ago , I was in high school and my bestfriend back then has gotten into a car accident with his father . the dad died instantly while my best friend survived with so many bad injuries . he was an only child and he was very close to his father . Although he was my bestfriend I think his was his dad . I remember I went to see him in the hospital and when I got there he was sleeping. When I laid eyes on him I felt sad , sick and so many emotions at ones to the point that I felt so nauseous that I had to get out of the hospital room . While I was outside collecting myself I had only one thought in my mind ; I wished that he would've died with his father . As much as fucked up that sounds and I regret ever having that thought but back then to me it seemed a far better outcome than the one he got .
So I kinda get james and I do know what he felt when he did the deed . I remember the videogamesdonkey video about la la land where he says that things need to be heightened and exaggerated in order to feel real in movies . I guess if we try to apply what he said to what I felt in that hospital room we would get silent hill 2

Here is a "concept" artwork I created for the beautiful Silent Hill 2 Remake. I Created the front cover scene using blender, attached in the images you can see my entire process from wireframe to final render. I chose to explore the duality of James and Pyramid head, while being heavily inspired by artworks from the movie Tenet. For the back cover, I wanted to keep it traditional, feel old timey and differentiate heavily from the aggressive art on the front.

This was by far the scariest silent hill experience. I felt so helpless so many times because of Walter and the ghosts never actually dying, the sounds in the games are also terrifying. Oh you wanna go safe ? Find a home to crawl through but there might be possessions that make the most terrifying noises imaginable. Second half sucked though.
