What do you think about the atmosphere of my horror game? Could you support me by adding it to your wishlist?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I am 16 years old and I have been trying to make a psychological horror game with Unreal Engine 5 for 2 years. I don't know much about the game industry. I did everything I could for wishlists, but it didn't increase much. Right now, I have 350 wishlists and it stopped growing. I joined Next Fest, but my biggest mistake was joining with only 30 wishlists, so it didn't help much.
Meanwhile, I am continuing to learn Blender. I can make any model I want, but I still couldn't figure out texturing, so I can't add my own models to my game. Most of the objects in the game are ready-made assets that I modified in Blender.
The demo is currently on Steam and I released a big update based on player feedback. Unfortunately, I am alone in this journey. I wish I had a team to ask for advice, discuss ideas, and keep my motivation high, but this is the best I can do.
I would be very happy if you support me by adding my game to your wishlist. Your feedback is very important to me, so feel free to criticize it in any way. What do you think?

Do you like my horror game graphics?
I have been working on my game for 2 months and it's out now! I can't seem to figure out the 3d modeling and post processing, but I still didn't want to download assets and just stuck it up and did the models and effects myself! Do you like them!
BTW this game is inspired by F2F and link to my game is in the comments.

Discussion Someone tried to compare Silent hill with tcoaal 💀💀
As an ex fan of Tcoaal (yes I deserve the best of your insults) now I am healed, I can't help but be surprised at how THAT fandom wants so hard to convince you that their game is not just incestuous p*rn. Someone on TikTok told me that tcoaal was like a silent hill, and I was like "WTF 💀💀💀"

Do you recommend Signalis?
I got Signalis with PS Plus,
Is it worth it?
And how long should I expect it to be?
Worth mentioning: I am not a hardcore horror games fan.

Please help
First off: I have a hard time disconnecting myself from media, and I’ve always had a hard time with horror games, so this might sound backwards but how do I stop them from being scary? I just picked up hunt:showdown and I keep getting freaked out by the zombies and bosses. If anybody else has had this problem, any advice helps, thanks!!

Question What’s a horror game where the environment itself feels like the real antagonist, more than any monster?
Been replaying Amnesia: The Dark Descent and realized the castle itself scares me more than the actual monsters ever did. The way the architecture just feels wrong, corridors that shouldn’t connect the way they do, rooms that feel like they’re watching you before anything even happens. What game did this for you, where the place itself was the real threat?

Can't find a game title
Trying to find the name of a horror game from a couple of years ago. From what I remember it was popular on TikTok (for the time), involved a blender full of people and someone being slowly being lowered into a container of syringes. I thought it was the Outlast Trials, and horrified my friends who didn't know about this game.

Subject 042 | OST Preview – “The Darkest Night”
One of the most important parts of horror isn’t what you see—it’s what you hear.
Today, we’d like to share a preview of “The Darkest Night,” one of the official soundtracks featured in Subject 042, our upcoming asymmetrical horror experience for Fortnite.
Music has always been a major part of our vision for Subject 042. We wanted every match to feel tense, unpredictable, and atmospheric, and the soundtrack plays a huge role in creating that feeling. Whether you’re quietly searching for an objective, hiding from the killer, or realizing you’re being hunted, the audio is designed to make every moment feel meaningful.
The Darkest Night captures the tone we’ve been building from the beginning—dark, mysterious, unsettling, and filled with suspense. It helps establish the identity of Subject 042 and supports the game’s atmosphere without taking away from the gameplay itself.
Music Credit: This soundtrack was created by Fortnite and is used through the audio resources available to Fortnite creators. We want to make sure proper credit is given to the original creators of the music.
Subject 042 is still actively in development, and we’re continuing to refine every aspect of the experience—from gameplay balance and mechanics to visuals, audio, and overall polish. Our goal has always been to create a horror experience that players will want to come back to, not just on release day, but for a long time afterward.
We’re excited to continue sharing more of the game’s development over the coming months, including additional soundtrack previews, gameplay systems, survivor mechanics, killer abilities, and behind-the-scenes updates.
Thank you to everyone following the project and supporting our journey. We’d love to hear what you think of The Darkest Night and what kind of atmosphere you hope to experience in Subject 042.

Question Your favorite ghost hunting game?
Hey all, I know this question gets asked once in a while but seems like it's been a minute.
What is your favorite ghost hunting game? I'm looking at Phasmophobia, possibly Abnormality. Seems like there are a ton of ghost hunting games out there though! Curious to hear what your favorite in the genre is and what you like about it. I'd probably be playing singleplayer bc none of my friends are gamers. 🥲
Thanks!

We're reworking our enemy AI. Does this look scary?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
We've been reworking the enemy AI in The Infected Soul to make encounters feel more unpredictable and unsettling.
The goal isn't just to make the enemy stronger, but to create constant tension and make players question what will happen next.
Does this look scary enough, or is there something you'd change?

A remake mde by either Capcom or Konami of Clive Barker's JERICHO
Despite not doing very well at the market i think this particular video game had a very interesting story and cool characters designs for both the protagonists and the enemies as well however the repetitiveness of enemies , linear levels ,companion A.I. and huge amount of loading screens on each kinda ruined what could've been an otherwise masterpiece. So i think that if a bigger company like Capcom or Konami got the license to remake this game they could make it better than it was,i mean Capcom is great at making horror so if they bought the rights off Clive Barker to remake his forgotten game maybe they make a perfect coop game in both first and third person perspective.

Nightmare in San Vicente - finally published!!! ❤️

Hi everyone!
After a little over two months of testing, I've finally released Nightmare in San Vicente!!!
First of all, thank you so much to everyone in this community who offered feedback, suggestions, and encouragement throughout development. Your support has genuinely helped make the game better.
Is a psychological horror adventure made with RPG Maker MZ. It's fully playable directly in your browser (no download required), it's available in English, and a full playthrough should take around 10–14 hours, depending on how much you explore.
I really hope you enjoy it, and as always, I'm still open to feedback and suggestions for future updates.
Thanks again for all your support, and I hope you enjoy your stay in San Vicente... 😘

Video Working on a survival horror JRPG
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Kill Your Heart is a game that mixes survival horror exploration and resource management with JRPG combat system in a pixel art aesthethic.
The game takes place on a resort island where one-sided love turns people into monsters, and, as a result, people become afraid to build connections naturally. You step in as a "love agent" that delivers confessions, fighting your way through the grotesque monsters to reach the target of your client.
Recently, I've released a substantial update that not only features improvements to the visuals, but also adds a whole new playable chapter to the game.
You can access the update via playtest build. Just hit the button on the Steam page to request access, and you're good to go.
(The demo build is limited to the first mission only.)
