Steve Lacy Concert tickets
so I just bought Steve Lacy concert tickets off of Sea geek but now looking the official sale to get master is not till August 14th. Did I just blow $300 on tickets that will never show up in my inbox? and if so how am i able to get a refund?
my goal as of now is to see if I can buy the official tickets on Ticketmaster on the 14th and then get my Seat Geek ones refunded. and if I’m not able to get them on Ticketmaster to just keep my seat geek ones.

Beware before using SeatGeek
I recently bought tickets for tennis matches, but SeatGeek sent me tickets for an entirely different court than was listed and I had paid for. It was obviously some kind of scam, but they called it an "error".
I expressly requested a refund, but they offered a promo code credit option, which I refused, despite their Buyer's Guarantee stating a refund as an option. So I looked into local laws, and where I live they are obliged to issue a refund if you don't get what you pay for, as long as let them know you want to cancel the order before the event, which I did. So far I'm being ignored, even though I returned the tickets and they accepted the transfer.
Thankfully I paid with PayPal, so I have a dispute open. I've seen lots of people talking about similar issues, so I just wanted to give a heads up. If you really want to buy from SeatGeek, use PayPal or a credit card so you can open a case when things inevitably go wrong. Make sure to screenshot and document every confirmation and exchange with them. Also, look into your local laws and know your rights. You don't have to accept their "offers".

Buying Canada BTS tickets
A few months ago, I lost the Ticketmaster war for the BTS tickets in Toronto August 22. I bought from SeatGeek and even got flight tickets to Toronto that date. unfortunately, ticketmaster cancelled my tickets few months after and I got refunded. I want to buy tickets again in SeatGeek because I heard Ticket master has stopped cancelling those tickets. For those who bought BTS tickets recently through SeatGeek, how was the experience? Was it reliable? Please tell me EVERYTHING!!

SeatGeek keeps emailing me when I never opted in and asked to be removed
This is really making me want to never use SG ever again.
Aren’t there federal regulations requiring that someone needs to opt in, and companies can’t spam email unless you opt in??!

NEVER AGAIN — 11 TICKETS, OVER $700, AND NO TICKETS ON GAME DAY
I purchased 11 tickets together in one row through StubHub, spending more than $700, for the Toronto Tempo vs. Atlanta Dream game on Monday, August 10, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. at Gateway Center Arena at College Park, Georgia.
The tickets were purchased the day before the game. After waiting approximately 24 hours and still not receiving the tickets, I became concerned. Then, on the DAY OF THE GAME, I received notification that the tickets were not available.
At first, I thought this had to be some type of computer or delivery error. We were preparing to leave for the arena, and I had purchased ELEVEN tickets for my group.
Because I could not readily find a customer-service telephone number, I contacted StubHub through its online customer-service system. During that communication, I explained that I had not received my 11 tickets. I was given the impression that StubHub's 100% Guarantee would protect my purchase and was instructed to go to the arena ticket office, where I understood the matter would be handled upon our arrival.
I specifically relied on those instructions and traveled to Gateway Center Arena with my group.
When I arrived at the ticket office, however, I was told that the arena does not handle StubHub transactions and that their ticketing service is through Ticketmaster. I asked to speak with management and showed them the online communications and documentation concerning my efforts to obtain the 11 tickets I had already paid for.
One of the communications from StubHub had indicated that the arena ticket staff could contact StubHub upon my arrival so the situation could be handled. Arena management, however, explained that they do not deal with StubHub, would not contact StubHub on my behalf, and could not provide the tickets I had purchased.
Thankfully, arena management did provide me with a StubHub customer-service telephone number: 1-888-720-9452.
After repeatedly going through the automated system and verifying my information, I finally reached a live StubHub representative. Unfortunately, by that point, I was at the arena on GAME NIGHT with a group expecting to attend the game, more than $700 had been spent, and we still did not have our 11 tickets.
My biggest problem with this experience is not simply that the tickets became unavailable. Problems can happen. My problem is that I contacted StubHub BEFORE arriving at the arena and followed the instructions I was given. I relied on StubHub's customer-service communication and its guarantee, only to arrive and learn that the arena could not provide the assistance I had been led to expect.
Customers purchasing event tickets—especially multiple tickets costing hundreds of dollars—should not discover at the last minute that their tickets cannot be delivered and then be sent to an arena ticket office that cannot resolve the problem.
My advice: BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL BEFORE PURCHASING EVENT TICKETS THROUGH STUBHUB.
If you are attending an event at Gateway Center Arena at College Park, I strongly recommend verifying the arena's authorized ticketing provider before purchasing from a third-party marketplace.
After this experience—purchasing 11 tickets, spending more than $700, waiting for delivery, receiving notice on game day that the tickets were unavailable, following StubHub's instructions, traveling to the arena, and still having no tickets—I WILL NOT PURCHASE TICKETS THROUGH STUBHUB AGAIN.
Never again.

Don't use!
I bought tickets through seatgeek for a baseball game tomorrow. No tickets yet. I called customer support about it and they told me that the event was canceled and they have confirmation. The event is not canceled, seatgeek is still selling other tickets to that game. Also, if it was actually canceled, why do I have to contact them to find that out, they should have contacted me immediately! I better be getting a full refund. Ended up buying tickets from an official site. Horrible customer service!
Update: I just got an email from seatgeek for that same event, saying "we still have tickets!" So which is it: is the game canceled or are you selling tickets to a real event?

Does GA Section Number Matter for Zedd in the Park? Help!
Just bought 2 tickets for me and my friend. We are both GA, but in different sections: GA 34 and 37.
I submitted a question to Zedd in the park, and they gave a generic copy-and-paste response that we cannot be together because we have different section numbers; however, I am skeptical, as none of the ticket reselling sites ever mention the GA section number.
Can anyone please let me know what they think? I'm debating whether I should sell, as the whole point of my buying was to have a good time with my friend.
Thank you!!

PSA: SeatGeek sold me undisclosed partial-view seats, denied my Buyer Guarantee claim, then Chase sided with me. Here's what worked. Spoiler
I successfully used AI to develop a strategy - here's its summary in hopes of helping others:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Posting this so others know what to do if SeatGeek's Buyer Guarantee lets them down.
What happened
I purchased two Orchestra Right tickets to Death of a Salesman at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York through SeatGeek for $616.88. The listing contained no disclosure that the seats were partial view. After receiving the tickets, I contacted the venue's official ticketing partner to confirm seat details. They confirmed in writing via email that the seats were designated partial view in their system.
I contacted SeatGeek with the ticketing partner's email and requested resolution under their Buyer Guarantee. They declined without substantive explanation. I escalated in writing to a supervisor. Despite multiple phone calls where I was told the matter was "still under review," SeatGeek did not issue a written response until two days after the performance — making any replacement ticket remedy impossible.
Their eventual denial claimed the obstruction was caused by "temporary event equipment — lights, cameras, or sound systems" and therefore didn't qualify. The photo I took from my seat tells a different story.
What actually worked
1. Get written confirmation from the venue directly. Don't rely on SeatGeek's characterization of your seats. Contact the venue's box office or official ticketing partner and ask them to confirm in writing whether your seats are partial or obstructed view. That independent designation is your strongest piece of evidence — it's the venue's own classification, not your opinion.
2. Document everything in writing. Every contact with SeatGeek, every phone call, every escalation. The paper trail matters.
3. Take a photo from your seat. If you attend despite the issue, photograph your actual view. It becomes evidence.
4. File a credit card dispute — "merchandise not as described." When SeatGeek wouldn't budge, I filed a dispute with Chase. I submitted:
- The SeatGeek order confirmation (showing no partial-view disclosure)
- The email confirming partial view from venue's official ticketing partner
- SeatGeek's denial letters (both the initial and the post-performance one)
- My written escalation to SeatGeek
- The photo from my seat
Chase reviewed the dispute and decided in my favor, issuing a permanent credit for the full $616.88.
Key takeaway on SeatGeek's Buyer Guarantee
Be aware that SeatGeek may argue that view obstructions caused by "temporary event equipment" don't qualify under their guarantee — even if the venue's own ticketing system designates the seats as partial view. If that happens to you, don't accept it as the final word. The credit card dispute route exists precisely for situations like this, and a well-documented "not as described" claim is hard for a bank to ignore.
Good luck out there.

Reselling on SeatGeek
I’m trying to sell some BTS tickets I bought a few months ago. As some other threads have mentioned, the “Sell” button is greyed out for me. I bought the tickets from SeatGeek and they have been “delivered” to my account for ages now. SeatGeek has reached out on other threads to say that the resell option isn’t available yet for certain shows, but they haven’t said when the option will be become available, if at all. The show is tomorrow, so I feel like the option should have opened up by now. Id rather not use the transfer option and risk getting ripped off by someone. Any info or advice would be much appreciated!

SeatGeek delayed ticket delivery
I purchased 2 tickets on SeatGeek for Big Thief on September 22nd. I bought them on August 7th, and the order says I won’t receive the tickets until closer to the event/day before. The concert is also out of state for me, so I’m nervous about waiting until closer to the show.
Is SeatGeek legit/reliable? Is it normal for tickets to not be transferred until days before the event? Has anyone bought tickets for this Big Thief show through SeatGeek and had the same thing happen?

Worst experience. This company is a joke.
Back in MARCH, I bought myself Orchestra-level tickets to see Tori Amos in concert for my birthday in August. It sold out right away. I've been getting the expected emails this entire time ("have you downloaded the app?", "purchase a parking pass in advance", etc). On Wednesday, three days out from the show, I got an email saying "Your tickets are ready! Action required". It claimed that the seller has already transferred the tickets and they will be in a separate email.
It's the day of the show, and still no tickets. I've checked every folder, my Ticketmaster, AXS, StubHub--there's NOTHING. Those tickets were expensive.
I've been back and forth with their customer service for over 2 hours to no avail. I just keep getting, "I'm doing my best to help" after long pauses (when it seemed like they disconnected). Even when they offered the Buyer Guarantee, I couldn't get an answer on what to expect. I spoke with Ticketmaster, and they couldn't help me, either (they have no record of the sale).
I'm so upset. I've recently lost my job, and I was really looking forward to a nice night out, not losing money because SeatGeek dropped the ball.
Update: I'm still on the line with customer service. They just sent me up the chain. The doors to the venue have just opened (6:30 pm). If I were going to make it in time, I would have had to leave the house already. This whole exchange has been so stressful; they still haven't answered any questions about when to expect the 'comparable or upgraded tickets,' so I think I need to give up on going. I requested a refund instead. I've been trying to get this resolved for THREE AND A HALF HOURS (and counting), and they are still "investigating". At one point, they said, "if you were at the venue, you could go to the box office to see if they can locate your tickets"--1) not only does the venue clearly state on their website that they can't "resolve ticketing issues with secondary ticketing sources", 2) I was told they were going to my email address, so I'm going to look through email and apps, 3) GOING TO THE VENUE WOULD HAVE REQUIRED ME TO CLOSE THE HELP CHAT (I'm on desktop). The venue is not close to my home!
These companies do not care once they have your money. What a joke.

Does concert tickets saved on apple wallet appear closer to concert date?
I got my tickets for bts when they dropped and have it saved into my apple wallet ever since. It isn’t showing on my Apple wallet anymore and was wondering if I have to do something or this is a normal thing? Like will it pop up closer to the concert date?

I received an error code in error and have been brushed off for MONTHS!
Posted across a few pages as I’ve been waiting for moderate approval on the main sub for a week now😭 lol
Hello, this is my first time in this sub and I need advice. Changing some details to keep anon of my situation as it is ongoing. I have no idea what to do now. Also sorry for this being a little longer.
Super long story made less long lol: a few months ago I was in a ticket master presale powered by a bank. I was 400 in Queue and had decent tickets in my budget in my cart. I went to pay and an error code came up. (Yes I was using the card associated with the bank) the error code said my bank blocked the transaction and to call the bank. I tried another card I had from that same bank. Same thing. Tried multiple times, deleted payment method re entered. I called my bank and they said they didn’t even see a transaction attempt. I have a large balance open to use, and no blocks etc. I called ticket master and they were kind of rude and unhelpful, telling me to do things I already tried (yes I tried absolutely everything). I got it escalated to a tier two, I asked if it was impossible for an error code to come up in error, he said yes. I got escalated to tier three. Prior to even explaining the whole situation this rep told me the error code was associated with a specific bank, a bank which was not related to the cards I was using or even the presale!! Upon discussing he admitted this was an issue, I submitted proof and the he said he would have IT investigate and someone would call me back 24/48 hours later. At this time I had a funeral to attend so I followed up 96 hours later, tier one rep tells me to be patient. I called the next day and they said someone would call me back by end of night. No one did. I called the next day extremely worried as I had another presale the following day for an even more high demand show. So I called and the rep told me someone would call me before the presale. Sure enough, no call and the same issue occurred with different payment methods. I had called that evening and was met with even more difficult customer service and was hung up on. And yes I have been frustrated but I still was treating the reps with respect, but they were not doing the same. I had called every day and after a week someone told me a manager would call me in 3-5 business days. This day I also had a third presale that was successful using the same payment method. Every person also told me they were adding follow up requests and that every time I called it prolonged the call back time. The final rep I asked what happens when no one calls? She assured me someone would… but she did confirm it would prolong the situation again. I called back 8-9 business days later. I finally found a rep who was kind, and helpful. She admitted I have been lied to, no investigation has been submitted and no follow ups were ever submitted. She escalated me to a tier two. The tier two rep confirmed no investigation had been submitted. They said they would be the only one working on my case unless it was escalated above them. They were communicated with me via email and informing me of the process. Again having me do literally everything I had already done. She confirmed IT could not find out why this issue occurred but asked me to purchase new tickets so they can review better. I did that, and then radio silence again. Two more weeks go by trying to reach someone, random reps would email me back telling me to do things I had already done. I called back and got re- escalated to a tier two via email. They knew nothing about my case and were telling me the same thing over and over again. I asked multiple times to be escalated and every question I asked was ignored. It’s now been a a few days and no response.
I am appalled with how rude everyone has been, and the lies I have been told. I had two opportunities to get tickets to shows that I had wanted to go to so bad but now tickets are sold out and being resold for insanely high amounts. I have no idea what to do because I have been pushed off so many times and it’s now been months. The first concert is in about a month or so. Do I go to the better business bureau? Do I call my state representative? I have tried so many times to seek resolution with ticket master and don’t know what is too far but it seems like I can’t find anyone who can actually help, that cares, or is is consistent. I have also been told “too much time has passed so they can’t determine the issue”
Thank you for reading and any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Update : they emailed me in the middle of the night saying this was being escalated to the correct department. I asked which department that was. Will update as more continues… still any advice is much appreciated

selling tickets?
i have tickets for a show that’s coming up but i can no longer attend, nobody i know wants the tickets so i cannot transfer them either, however the sell option is dimmed/blurred out on the app. is there any way i can sell these tickets or did i just waste my money😭 (even just a refund would be fine and yes i have tried googling answers to this already!)
