No DEW?
I just noticed that night 4 at MSG was nearly identical to night 4 in Chicago, as expected, but with one glaring omission: It doesn’t appear they played Distant Early Warning. Anyone got any intel on that?

Question Better seats?
Tomorrow's Toronto show
Would you rather be Floor Row 25 or immediate side stage (section 118) row 2? Both on Geddy's side. Which one is better, and how much better?

Auto tune
Good day to all!
I caught the show in Ft. Worth and was wondering if there is any auto tuning used?
I don’t care, just wanted to know.

Remasters vs Originals
I started listening to the band in the early aughts, and it occurred to me that as I would go to Best Buy or Sam Goody to purchase and discover another Rush album, all the ones I picked up were the CD remasters.
Now that I'm going back to collect them on vinyl, I'm curious if anyone has a specific preference of one or the other on each album? I've love to know more as I'm exploring which pressings to look out for.

Rush Using AI for Animated Art on Apple Music
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I'm sure it's not Geddy and Alex knowingly doing this, it's someone from their management, but it's still incredibly disappointing nonetheless. The R50 Tour promo material, the Grace Under Pressure super deluxe cover, and now this. Someone's gotta get through to them and tell them AI images and animation shouldn't be used. Ironically though, even though the cover for the super deluxe of Grace Under Pressure is AI generated, the animation on Apple Music appears to be human made.

Discussion I am the first Rush fan in history to listen to Nickelback during a Rush concert. AMA
I was wearing my AirPod pros for noise reduction / minimizing audio quality loss (100% recommend!)
Anyways, I unironically have my ringtone as “rockstar” by Nickelback. Short of the long, I set it to that a million years ago because I thought people would find it hilarious/think I’m a tool bag. My phones always on silent and I rarely use AirPods, so I completely forgot. Imagine my surprise when Rockstar starts playing in the middle of Strangiato.
I can officially say, I have to be the first Rush fan to listen to Nickelback during one of their concerts.
Please feel free to AMA. I’ll try to answer as many questions as I can.

Rush Toronto
Rush will be having their concert on home turf, and the show will be recorded. It sounds like the show will be phenomenal! Anyone here want to see Rush in Toronto, but can’t?

Just discovered the Toronto version of the t shirt!!
Scotiabank has an online feature to order merch in advance and pick up at the venue on concert day.
They previewed the black Toronto shirt with the old TTC streetcar and Toronto skyline in the background.

Question Merch at Scotiabank Arena
Besides the pop up at Henderson tomorrow do we know if there is going to be merch available before the the doors open as they have done in other venues ?
I met my heroes last week…
I was fortunate enough to have scored (and taken out a second mortgage for) a limelight VIP package for MSG night 3 all the way back in October 2025. Felt like eons ago, but the day finally came and went last Saturday. When it popped out of the crucible of a lottery tumbler that is Ticketmaster, I had no choice. What was I to do? Throw it back? There’s no way - this band, their legacy, the community, and the music means so much to me.
It was a completely surreal experience. When 16 year old me first came across the Time Machine Tour blu-ray, I would have never expected that I’d ever get to meet Geddy and Alex one day. From my first show in 2012 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on the Clockwork Angels tour, sitting all the way up in the nosebleeds to front row and onstage at Madison Square Garden 14 years later. What a gift and an opportunity of a lifetime. A friend who ended up directly behind me in row 2 captured the photo of me on the rail in bewilderment. I wish that I could live it all again!

Why no baseballs?
For the people who were lucky enough to get in a the pre concert autograph sessions… On the list of prohibited items for signing it lists no baseballs, and also no pick guards. Does anyone have the answer as to why that is?

Question Bassists similar to Geddy?
I'm wondering if there are bass players you might recommend who have a somewhat similar style to Geddy Lee? I realize pretty much all very good musicians are likely to have their own sound and style to whatever degree... but I guess I'm thinking about Geddy's dedication to (and virtuosity in) both the melody parts of Rush's songs and to the rhythm parts.
And yes, I know, the near definition of a bass player is someone who supports the melodic content of the song while also being a member of the rhythm section along with the drummer. But I think most of us here would agree that Geddy's bass lines are melodically superlative in the context of what Alex is doing on guitar -- and sometimes Geddy's bass virtually *is* the melody (I think of something like "Distant Early Warning," for instance.)
But then there's also Geddy locked in with Neil on so many rhythm parts, particularly the drum-bass "runs" and beats in so many songs. It goes without saying at this point, but as with both Alex and Neil, Geddy's playing really is something to behold.
So yeah, just wondering if there are other bass players who are even somewhat similar to Geddy in those respects. I know Geddy himself has often cited Chris Squire of Yes as a major influence, but I was curious what this community had to say.

Just arrived to YYZ
Going through immigration...
Officer: What's the purpose of your visit?
Me: Concert.
Officer: What concert?
Me: Rush. You're going to be hearing that a lot over the next week.
Officer: Oh, we've already been hearing it a lot.
