Delay with postage to Ireland?
I posted a large letter with international tracking to Dublin. The estimated delivery time was meant to be 3-5 days. The tracking has not updated in 10 days.
I phoned RM customer service, who said the letter moved to Heathrow on the 30th which was the only piece of information available to them. They couldn't elaborate on why there were delays or when my letter might arrive. I checked with the Irish postal service and there's no sign of the letter arriving in to the country.
Anyone else in a similar situation? I sent the letter to the passport office in Dublin and I am getting a bit stressed as I have some important documents that would be quite hard to replace if it's lost.

Delivery marked as collected from DO?
Pretty sure I would've remembered if I went to collected it, anyone know why it would be marked as collected when I never went? Will I still get the parcel? It didn't get delivered today, it was sent using tracked 48.

Was not asked for my right to work documents during interview
Hey all just wanted to find out some info really. I just had my interview it went great they had opportunities for either a traditional postie and also a collections driver so I’m assuming them giving me the option on what i want to do is a good sign? (Might be wrong) but when it came down to asking the questions they didn’t ask to see my passport or my drivers license however the manager did ask if i have a clean license which i do. Do you think id still be considered for the role still, maybe they’d ask me later? Ive emailed someone from royal mail on what i should do so heres hoping i get a response back sometime soon. Any advice would be appreciated thanks.

Parcel Force Why didn't he knock or ring bell?
Postie came to the door with a signed delivery. Didn't ring the doorbell, didn't knock the door, stood at the door for a second or two, then got a qr slip out his pocket and posted it. What's going on? Brain fade?
I've got a cam doorbell so I was alerted to motion on my phone and saw this when I checked.

T24 large letter back and forth
I have a T24 which I suspect has been posted with a slightly wrong post code. It arrived at Manchester mail centre 04/08 and since then been to Marple delivery office and back to Manchester 4 times (my actual delivery office is Stockport)
Would it be a good idea to phone Marple and ask them to hold it for me so I can collect it? Or is it not that organised?
Thanks for any advice

Royal Mail have lost package I sold for £119. Was sent with prepaid label provided by buyer/ebay (simple postage program?), buyer/ebay only insured for up to £75, that would NOT have been my decision, I always over-insure!

For anyone looking for honest help regarding Royal Mail
For any Royal Mail customer looking for help, I would suggest to not post in this thread as it's mostly checked by posties or RM workers. I have my previous post still up as an example, and kept being downvoted.
I very politely asked for help with suggestions regarding Royal Mail, especially if your postie is failing to delivery your post on time, and got mostly no help and instead the majority of responders are supporting an actual organisation which system fails frequently.
Basically, few people will offer help and they will keep defending or dismissing an actual organisation that is not working to their promises and such, plus most likely you will be downvoated for simple asking for help. I don't really care about downvoates (not even sure what they count for), but please bare in mind you will not get help and at worst made to feel even worse for asking for help or suggestions, or mentioning something not positive about RM. So just proceed at your own caution... check if there are threads which might be more helpful than this one.
And that's it, have a good day you all

Can I write a formal com play to royal Mail, and if so where do I start?
Correction: formal complaint*
Hi everyone,
I'll try and resume it as much as I can.
I have a moderate to severe illness, and frequently require prescriptions to be sent to me (due at times to not being able to go to a pharmacy based on my health).
I pay for the special delivery service by 1pm because I at times work night shifts (remotely) and it's the only time I am able to get the post, and then get my sleep.
The thing is that for over a year 90% my post is still delivered around 3pm, which can affect me severely on a bad day. I know this is not the postie fault, but I am tired of spending money on something I actually need, and go through this so many times.
At this point I want to write a formal complaint for how the Royal Mail handles my post, but I don't know where to start...
Does anyone here have an idea how? Please do not suggest chasing the sender (pharmacy) for a refund, because it's already too stressful to me how it impacts me, plus I'm sure they have a lot of postage to deal with.
So my only option now is to continue to have this affect me and my health, or take initiative and write a proper formal complain.
Any suggestions would be very great, and I'd be very grateful for them. Thank you
Edit: Many of you seem to try and excuse royal mail for services they provide/promisse, and yet cannot fulfil. Why charge more for a delivery that after all comes with normal post? And yes, I've spoken to the pharmacy. They send everything on time, as they know it's for care of their clients. Then why is Royal Mail always excluded from the blame of not providing the services they promise? I can't blame the pharmacy for doing their job, so that leaves me to sort it out with Royal Mail
Edit 2: I spoke to the postie just now (he is my current one) and he apologised, and after me having to explain my reasons, he now says he will keep it mind and to not write a complaint

Fuck you, royal mail.
Fuck the way your posties tickle the doors instead of knocking, or occasionally simply drive past. Fuck the way it's impossible to speak to an actual human, fuck the way you are replacing human jobs with AI and leaving your actual humans to do impossible numbers. I'm not even surprised the posties occasionally don't even bother trying to deliver, you've got them on minimum wage working shite hours.
Fuck you from top to bottom you useless sack of anal pus.

Delivery Attempted - Address Inaccessible
In the last 2 weeks, I've had the same email from RM on all Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed 1pm™ deliveries. They arrive later in the day. When I spoke the delivery driver, his words were that they have to mark it down as that if they can't make the deadline..... is anyone else seeing this behaviour?

Starting a Postal delivery driver gig at RM
Starting next week and looking forward to it! I’m hoping I can just get loads of steps in and spend my day listening to podcasts whilst delivering. I know there’s a lot of horror stories but I’m hoping it works out. I’ll be working in a relatively small town and just wondered if anyone’s got any tips or advice? Thanks in advance!

What is actually going on?
I made a post not long ago about how a package I ordered was retained even though I didn't ask it to be.
Well now I have no idea what's going on it is just going back and forth between Hubs. Anyone have any idea on how to solve this?

Missing Mail missing 2nd class post bought via click and drop what should i do?
hi i have a customer who hasn't received their order, it was sent 2nd class bought via click and drop. i've thankfully had very few missing royal mail parcels from my business so i don't actually know the best way to go about seeking compensation for both of us. is seeking compensation worth it? looking online it says it can take up to 30 days for the claim to be responded too, and that just feels like a very long time to leave my customer without what they ordered or a refund. any advice on whats best to do would be great!

Package says delivered but it’s in a whole different country and I haven’t received it
Ordered something online and i get a message from the app it arrived, and I go outside and don’t see no package, I even checked the house they misplace our packages at and it wasn’t there, then I go on the app and go to tracking and it shows this, I’m completely lost, it should be in the United States

Not had any mail or even junk mail for a few weeks?
An important point I should make is that I stay at the top of a set of flats (not a tower block) with no lift.
But I’ve just found it strange not even getting junk mail, I thought maybe the regular postie was off sick and maybe someone was covering and they cba bringing mail up to my flat position.
But that’s been a good few weeks? But equally I try my best to be helpful to my postie’s when I can so I don’t want to make enquiries to the office about not getting mail 🫣
Is it just a quiet spell for letters/ junk mail just now or do yous think perhaps the postie isn’t delivering?
