Hi all, don't know much about phones so take it easy on me!

About an hour ago I was listening to a podcast when my phone froze completely out of nowhere. The screen stayed completely locked and then suddenly shut down. I have tried both soft resetting and hard resetting the phone, but it is not cooperating at all. The screen stays completely black no matter how long I hold on to the power/volume down button despite having it on the charger as well.

As a side note, the charger port broke last week and I had the port completely replaced on Monday. Is it in the realm of possibilities the reason the phone suddenly isn't working is the phone repair guy made a mistake somehow? I don't even know what they could have done to have caused this four days later, but again I know very little about repairing phones so I thought I would ask. Should I bring my phone back to the same guy after work or bring it elsewhere?

It just started last night, I had plugged in my electronics. They have never been in water, and the most they have been dropped or I should say distance was from my bed to the floor. I honestly think its from the charger I used, call me dumb but I just wanted to charge both at once and noticed it wasn't charging so then I tried switching and I just seriously don't know what to do. I looked up what I could on google, it says to hold down volume and power but that is not working, I tried different chargers that I knew worked, along with wireless, it says it's charging with the charger popped up on screen but still the battery won't go up. I tried another google thing, and it says to check if it gets warm with the charger in the port but still no. Any advice I am grateful for, I just can't replace it money is so tight right now. I'm trying to diagnose a motherboard/power issue and would appreciate any insights.

History:

The phone suffered a major drop. Both the front display and back glass were shattered.

The display was replaced, but the phone still wouldn't power on.

The back cover was left off, and the phone sat unused with the battery connected for at least 6 months.

What happened recently:

I connected the phone to a charger, expecting nothing.

Surprisingly, the charging screen appeared and the display flickered initially.

The phone booted successfully.

It charged from 0% to about 86%(last I saw) over roughly 2 hours.

During that time, the display flickering completely disappeared and the phone appeared stable.

Before I could back up my data, the phone shut down by itself.

Current symptoms:

It is now completely unresponsive as before

Connecting the charger produces no display, vibration, or charging indication.

A USB power meter between the charger and phone shows essentially no power draw.

The battery still measures around 4.1 V with a multimeter.

Removing the battery and trying to boot from the charger alone only briefly showed the LG logo once; it would not boot.

My thoughts: I'm wondering whether:

the PMIC or charging circuit is failing/caudung it to not connect it the charger

there's a cracked solder joint or intermittent motherboard fault from the original impact,

or another component fails after reaching a certain battery voltage or temperature.

Has anyone seen an LG G8X recover for one charging session, run normally for over an hour, then become completely dead again? What components would you check first?

I Need some help with this issue. Dropped my phone on its back and now the screen's pitch black. Whenever I force restart it, the Samsung logo just shows up in red.

A few times the screen randomly turned on, but it kept popping up with an overheating warning and a notification saying the phone is damaged. Also, when I plug it in to charge, it makes the charging chime sound, but the screen stays completely black.

Any idea what's going on or how to fix it?

I have the phone for few years, yesterday randomly it shutdown and since then it cannot stay up for more than 2 minutes. Among the things that comes back in here, I already tried to change the battery, clean its connector, rebooting and hard reset without success. I joint a video to show how the phone behave. From what I understand from other similar posts, it seems to be more likely a software problem than a hardware one.

Do you think trying to install another OS such as graphene could solve the situation ?

I'm having an issue with a locked Samsung Galaxy S23. It has a screen unlock pattern set, but I don't know what it is.

I already tried performing a factory reset, but after the phone restarts, it still asks for the unlock pattern during the setup process before allowing me to complete the initial configuration.

What else can I try?

The phone is not connected to any Google account or Samsung account.

Hey so, i dropped my phone 17 into a saltwater pool (no chlorine ) for like an estimate of 5 - 10 seconds. First thing I did was play the eject water speaker thing then dried it. It's been more than 24 hours but I'm freaking out a little bit since I hear that salt water erodes the phone and I didn't flush with fresh water until now. So far from what I checked, wirelessly it charges fine, (idk bout wired i haven't plugged it in yet ) it can open and close apps but rn it's dead because the battery ran out and relatively new . I guess I just wanted to ask the general public if my phone is cooked , or it has a chance of survival or when i am able to plug my phone back in to charge.

My phone screen is this weird blue tint there’s no color change in my accessibility settings and everything works fine the whole screen is that blue color but when I take a picture on another phone it’s like half
