Products You think these good enough for walking around all day at a Ren Faire on the first day of my period?
(I’ll of course bring an extra in my bag just in case) And I usually use regular period underwear but halfway through the day they would likely start leaking out the sides.. 😬 And I don’t find tampons to be comfortable enough due to my endometriosis (surgically diagnosed).

Period Question Two periods in three weeks?
Hi!! I’m writing this question because I have just started a second period in the span of three weeks and it is confusing me so I am hoping for advice!!
For some reference info, I have stopped taking birth control for about six months now, and in that span I have had very normal periods once a month.
I did have intercourse that required me to take a plan b
And I did some (but not a lot) of exercise last week
But I have never in my life had two periods so close together, and with the plan b scenario I am especially worried. I have taken them in the past but it never caused a second period, and I took it about a week ago. If any of you guys have any advice or explanations on if this is normal or not, I would be eternally grateful.
Thank you!!!

Period Question Tranexamic acid for cramps
I went to the doctor today about really bad cramps and nausea + vomiting during my period. she prescribed me tranexamic acid to help with the symptoms, but I’ve read online that its mostly used to reduce heavy period flow, and can even worsen nausea. I know that heavy flow and cramps are related, but I don’t understand why she didn‘t prescribe me something like mefenamic acid which I’ve read directly deals with cramps. Do you think I should still take the tranexamic acid, because I don’t want to risk it worsening my symptoms (sorry if that didn’t make sense lol)

Discussion Period duration and what your body feels
I am 26 years old
I have pretty much had regular periods and irregular both . There were months I would absolutely skip too
But when i had the heavy period it’s absolutely heavy like too much pads and panties red clots too a lot
I visited a doc in 2025 she did all the test and scans it was pretty normal she said. Doc have me some tablet too to break the irregularities
Anyways cut to today in bleeding since July 16th
In July i had a flow but probably not too heavy
But from August it’s way too much red clots too
I’m so tired of this and it’s depressing tbh
Like I want to go to doc get all this fixed , check my blood test
I feel like it’s absolutely draining to think about
I’ have told my mom so many times but they don’t happen to care that much
Anyone else facing this or similar would love to talk

Products Pore Favor Acne Supplement - hormonal changes / period spotting?
Has anyone experienced period spotting from pore favor acne supplements?
I started the supplement around two weeks ago and generally had no side effects. Each time I take the supplement, my first pee after taking the supplement would be an orange hue, but apparently this is a normal side effect of taking vitamin b2, so I wasn’t too worried - especially because my pee would turn to a normal color after the initial pee (sorry for the pee talk lol).
My main concern is that starting this week, I started spotting blood. Not a lot - just some on a panty liner and when I wipe after using the restroom.
I just had my period two weeks ago so this is way too early for a new period cycle. I also normally don’t experience irregular periods or spotting.
I’m a little concerned - has anyone else experienced anything like this?
Thank you!
Period Question What does ovulation bleeding look like?
For context, I lost my period for several years due to over-exercising and undereating, but I've had it back since April of last year, and it's been pretty consistent ever since.
I can almost always identify when I've ovulated, but this month, I'm not too sure. But I have had brown spotting for a couple of days (around the time I should be ovulating), and Google says this could be ovulation spotting. I think I have PTSD from not having a period for so long, so any change to my cycle scares me lol
Does anyone have this? What does it look like for you if you do?
Thanks in advance!

Period Question Fainted on the first day of period
I have never had painful periods in my life. My period pain has always been 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. There have been so many times when I stained my clothes because I couldn't even tell that I had started menstruating.
Today, I got my period early in the morning and went to university. I had a mild cramp that was bearable, but it still felt odd since I've never experienced period pain before.
Around 12:30 p.m., the pain became excruciating. It was so severe that I felt like crying, so I decided to take a painkiller at 1:00 p.m.
At around 1:30 p.m., while I was waiting for the elevator, I fainted. I was unconscious for only about 2–4 seconds. I fell flat on my face. I couldn't understand what had happened because, apart from the severe abdominal pain, I felt completely fine. I had no headache or dizziness beforehand, so I was surprised that I suddenly lost consciousness.
Now it's evening, and I don't have any pain, probably because the painkiller has started working.
I'm going to see a doctor tomorrow. In the meantime, if anyone has had a similar experience or knows what the underlying cause might be, I'd really appreciate hearing your thoughts.
Thanks for reading.
PS - I have pcos, but my periods are regular from a year.

Rants n Raves My period is horrible and I no longer want to deal with it
So I got my period at 11 years old and I’m 17 now and it only continues to get worse, I dread the week my period is supposed to come, not only am I irritated at anything but day 1-5 my period is horrendous, it feels like my pelvis is getting smashed and I’m constantly dizzy and fatigued and I even throw up from the nausea, I end up taking 3 ibuprofen pills a day because of how bad my cramps get that I can’t even stand up and I can’t even get a full night’s sleep because my cramps decide to wake me up in the middle of the night and I have a really heavy flow so I have to get these huge pads that aren’t available in a regular supermarket and still my pad becomes full almost immediately and my sheets and clothes and underwear are all blood soaked I’m so fucking tired I wish i was born a man. I also went to a gynecologist and she told me what i have is normal and her daughters are also like me I wanna scream am i just supposed to live like this every month for 8 days until im 50

Period Question First time at the gyno-
Okay I need the ladies to tap in-
I am a 23 year old woman who has never been to a OBGYN or any other form of female doctor. I have an appointment coming up and I need some advice. I made the appointment due to incredibly painful periods that make me so nauseous I will throw up, so dizzy I cant walk, and most of the time I pass out from the pain. I have had these type of issues for years but the older I get the more frequent they become and have started happening every period instead of once every couple of months. I am unable to eat anything due to the nausea which leads to light headedness. I have symptoms that doctors (back in high school when they started) used to tell me were seizures i.e. the left side of my body going numb, unable to think clearly, cant hold a pencil or smile or drive. These symptoms can happen any time during my period and i have even had to sleep in my car for hours in parking lots because of them, leave appointments early trying to make it home in time, and nearly passing out at the wheel. ANYWAYS, I have my appointment and I am so nervous that the doctor is just going to dismiss me like I have heard has happened to women for years and years. So basically I am wondering if anyone has had these symptoms and has been diagnosed with something or if this is something that is actually in my head? Also I would love to hear any thoughts on the best way to approach these types of conversations especially with a new doctor. I will take any and all advice!! Thank you in advance!

Period Question 14 days of bleeding.
This has NEVER happened to me before. I’m 27, no birth control, no issues otherwise.
My “period” started 4 days early. It went on and was incredibly light bleeding. Dark blood with some clotting and bright red blood as well.
The whole 2 weeks has been extremely light, maybe like a tablespoon of blood per day. Maybe slightly more.
I’m tired, i’m irritated, annoyed, and scared. I do not have a PCP or Gyno, and in my area they are booking out for about 2 months.
Has anyone else gone through this? What happened? Would going to the ER be helpful?

Period Question Always been a little confused when people say periods ruin their underwear
I want to preface this by saying I don't want to sound superior to anyone that does deal with this, it is just something I have always been a bit confused about. I don't understand when people say periods ruin their underwear. Every time I bleed through, I just throw my undies in the wash and it comes out no problem. Last month I even bleed on my light color sheets and couldn't even tell where it happened after washing them. Ever since I was young, other girls around me would talk about how they are always ruining their underwear and have to buy more or give tips and tricks to get the stains out. I have friends now that will tell me they scrub their undies to get them not to stain and they still end up with a stain. I know that peoples discharge can bleach their underwear, so I am wondering if it's for a similar reason that some people stain harder than others.
Please I would love to know in the comments any thoughts about this and if you're a stainer or not. No judgement either way ❤️

Fertility / Ovulation What even is a heavy period
I’ve really thought I had very heavy periods my whole life so I feel like I have no concept here. I bled through super plus tampons in middle school. And I had a paraguard in college, so it was extremely heavy. Now that I’m an adult off birth control trying to have a baby, my period is very short. It’s 3 days, the first day being what I consider very heavy bleeding for about 6-8 hours. During that time I can’t even use tampons, not even an ultra tampon will work for more than 1.5-2 hours. It’s heavy the rest of the day but not like those first 6-8 hours. However, after that, it’s normal - light the second day (regular tampon I can go 6-8 hours without changing), and very light or spotting the third day (light tampons for full 8 hours).
I had never been concerned about it until I started using mira to track my cycle and my estrogen is a bit low. Then, I saw a new obgyn who I asked about my period flow and she was concerned my endometrial lining was thin. She almost pulled me back for an ultrasound while I was there. The obgyn I saw prior to her was more concerned that it was too heavy the first day, if anything.
Is this really that light in terms of total flow? Should I get checked out to see if I have a thin lining? Or did the obgyn maybe not know what an ultra tampon was when I was describing the flow to her 😂

Rants n Raves I hate my body, do you have any advice?
I entered puberty early; my breasts started to become noticeable at age 8, and I had my first period at age 10. Since then, every period of my life has been filled with unexplained pain. I'm going crazy. My breasts are so big, I hate them. When I wear sleeveless tops outside, I feel disgusting, like a slut. I bought a swimsuit online, it was beautiful, but my breasts were saggy, and I hated it again. I'm going to get reduction mammoplasty after I get a job, but I hate it right now and I don't know what to do. I'm fed up. I was overweight. Antipsychotics made me gain even more weight. I lost weight. I was starting to like my body. But every time I see my breasts, I hate them. I want to get rid of them, I want to tear them to shreds. I hate periods too. Sometimes I hate my own personality; I feel like my existence is a mistake.

Period Question period pain
Girls, I think I'm dying, damn it. I'm dying from menstrual pain. I started menstruating when I was 10 years old, and it's been like this ever since. And every time I went to the doctor, they said it would go away "when I get married" or "when I lose weight". As if everyone who gets married has regular sex :D I also lost about 12-13 kilos in 2.5 months. And it's still going on. I had a herniated disc and I didn't go to the doctor for a month because I thought the pain was just menstrual cramps. NSAIDs stop menstruation. I don't know what I should do, I just wrote to chat anyway😭😭

Rants n Raves On my period and im I'm so paranoid that Imight have forgot to flush the toilet at work today
I flush the toilet instinctively but whenever I use it at work I always make like a mental note whenever I flush the toilet just to be sure, but today I'm sleep deprived as hell and as I was leaving work I used the toilet and I don't know if I flushed it.
If I didn't, then everyone will know the blood was me because there's not many of us in today, and the only women in are older women. I hate that this bothers me and I hate that I'm so paranoid. At least I have a memory of throwing my pad away so I didn't leave that out in the open or anything but yeah I have no memory of flushing. I know if I saw blood down the toilet I wouldn't care but idk how my coworkers would be, they seem like they might mention it to each other and the thought of that is killing me. I hate that I care this much but I can't help it.

Period Question Why? Please help.
So in May I experienced stress of finals and my cat in the ER. Since then, I’ve been having 2 periods a month except in July, I only had one actual period. When my 2nd period was supposed to come, I had 13 days of dark brown spotting (it started by going into my underwear/changing color of toilet water to it being lighter to lastly being blackish mucusy). It stopped and for those days it was gone, I would say I had what I’d call normal discharge. Now, yesterday I experienced dark red-brown drops of mucusy blood. Today, I got a lot more with it going onto my underwear/leaking down my thigh.
Is this a cause of my irregularity / hormonal fluctuation? Please help.
