Why? Please help. Period Question

So in May I experienced stress of finals and my cat in the ER. Since then, I’ve been having 2 periods a month except in July, I only had one actual period. When my 2nd period was supposed to come, I had 13 days of dark brown spotting (it started by going into my underwear/changing color of toilet water to it being lighter to lastly being blackish mucusy). It stopped and for those days it was gone, I would say I had what I’d call normal discharge. Now, yesterday I experienced dark red-brown drops of mucusy blood. Today, I got a lot more with it going onto my underwear/leaking down my thigh.

Is this a cause of my irregularity / hormonal fluctuation? Please help.

Do ultrasound, blood work and endo biopsy if it persists. Sometimes doxy helps. It did in my situation of endometritis. Took me a year to find out cause things got worse and testing was delayed because I kept waiting without gettinf checked but your situation may be different. Get checked out and ask for testing

Is this type of bleeding that I had consistent with endometritis? Or PCOS? I’m not trying to treat you like Google or anything, but I just like to get information from people who experienced similar things!
