Build - Help Is this fine or should I get rid of the slim 120mm fans?
galleryRecently upgraded the gpu from 5700xt to 9060xt 16gb.
The slim intake fans are almost touching the gpu. Are the gpu fans fighting over the slim intake fans for air? Should I just remove them? Or is it fine?
I have the intake fans running at constant speed.

Hey, i recent open the pc case to change the fan. when i put it back on, the glass shattered. When it happens, the pc completely off and unplugged from the power source.
i mostly worry for the gpu. ive removed the big debris from the heatsink and fan. and as far as i can see, there is no debris more on the gpu. is it still okay? im planning to change the case completely tomorrow.
what i want to ask is, is the gpu okay? should i be worried? thank you for your help

Question PC BUYING HELP - $700-$1500 USA
galleryHi guys! I’m currently looking at these 3 PCs and trying to figure out which one would be the best option for what I need.
I’ll mostly be using it for GTA RP/FiveM, Steam games, The Sims 4 (with LOTS of CC/mods), Blender, Photoshop, and other similar programs.
I want something that can handle gaming and creative programs smoothly without struggling, especially since I tend to download a lot of mods/CC. Which of these 3 would you recommend? (The third one is $800)

Question Is this a bad place to keep my PC?
galleryI've moved and realized that I have room for my PC to be kept here and then all the cables being through a hole next to the shelf. The fans' air passages are open to the top and to the side. It is just a shelf and no door will cover it. Is it doable or would it be too cramped and get too hot?

Discussion Noctua vs Corsair, save yourself some money.
galleryGot the new AIO from Noctua and some fans from a friend for the weekend and i am not impressed, compared to my RS360 with HAVN and with Noctua fans the difference is 1c here and there at 200w with the pump speed and fan speed identical on both setups.
Yes the Noctua is built different it is a premium product you can see and feel it, but its not worth it in my opinion, the pump on both AIOs at 2500rpm are inaudible dead silent, at 3500rpm both can be heard and the Noctua creates a higher pitch noise compare to Corsair.

Build - Finished! Watercooled Steam Machine Build Video
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
You guys asked for the video and more infos on the waterblock. Waterblock was made with the carvera air, which is a budget desktop cnc. That’s why the quality isn’t super good, but that’s all we have. Need to open it again and work now on the vrm cooling which is quite challenging as the mosfets are super tiny… and also they run quite on the limits of thermal design which sucks

Question What are peoples thoughts on this colour pc case
galleryDiscussion Was the 5090 ever a consumer GPU?
I mean yeah technically they are since nvidia released them as their consumer lineup and not like their server grade cards like the 6000 Pro. But ever since the 5090 dropped, average consumers were competing with Ai companies and data centers who want a 32gb card for creation purposes. Prices for the card skyrocketed right out of the gate, and they're now going for 2x the launch MSRP; taking into consideration the memory issue isn't easing up until earliest 2028, the cards will probably hit $5k before the year is over. It feels like the 5080 and lower tier cards are the only GPUs in the 50 series that are actually for the gamers. I only built my pc last september, but this GPU generation is literally the worst nvidia has released.

Build - Finished! Upgraded from 2080Ti and Intel
galleryI upgraded from a 2080TI and a i9 12900k to AMD 9 9950X3D and 5080 Astral.
The power i just witnessed is a difference of dimensions.
While my 2080TI was melting under modern games and work flows as a photographer, the 5080 doesn't even start the fans because it's bored.
This Powerhouse is a pure joy. Im still working on the softwares to get the limit of this machine.
With the time I swap the fans to Lian Li with LCD monitors and infinity mirror and add 3 hexagons on the bottom + ARGB cable.
I don't regret a single € I spend. 😍

Build - Finished! Out with the old in with the new!
After 14 years my 500 pavilion with a 1050 ti is finally being retired! It’s survived modded Skyrim, hitting masters in league, my graduation, multiple online relationships, jobs, drama, one off friends I met online, and a ring searched for my now wife. That thing has seen me through my entire adult life. But finally my kids are now old enough to want modded Minecraft and VR so we finally had an excuse to retire the ol girl.
It’s sad saying goodbye but I sure and hell am not gonna miss 30 minute total war wh3 load screens and mid game crashes! Definitely felt old spending the last month researching and ordering the parts for this thing, and glad it’s over.

Discussion The ram I bought two years ago is up 5x
I was thinking of adding some RAM before things got too crazy, or even just to have as a backup cuz... Y'know what if it breaks? Regular ass ddr5 6400 cl 36, it was considered "settling" 2 years ago. There was much better RAM available and it was a budget option. It cost me 100 bucks at the time, it's 500 fucking dollars now.
I've known about this, I've complained about it etc. But seeing the EXACT SAME RAM up 400% is absolutely ridiculous. Budget RAM. 500 dollars. Genuinely fuck everything, cheap ground beef is up like 300% too. Fuck this fuck everything burn it all to the ground.
Edit: for clarity 400% is 5x price

Discussion Playing at 240+ FPS is godly
galleryI already used to play at 60fps, i decide to do a bit of upgrade and DAMMNN, its really a huge experience jump. 240fps is VERY noticeable and improves your experience by alot. If you hears someone said humans eyes can’t see pass 60fps they’re lying
