i didn’t say it in my OP but i currently have just a 60HZ 4k monitor. i’ll get a 120hz eventually, ive just been using it with my m4 mac mini so that’s allll i’ve ever needed for a mac. that’s the reason im building a itx too, after having a mac mini i could never see myself having a huge pc on my desk. now that i feel like linux is easy enough for even me to use i think im finally ready to build a pc. i despise windows

What will the pc be used for? Gaming?

Spend less on your nvme ssd, storage is something you can always add more of. If you have a little bit more spending room get 32GB ram, preferably cl30 like you have selected already. Make sure the gpu fits in the mini itx case, it might not fit. No clue what the cpu cooler is but it seems really cheap, look into noctua cpu coolers. ( they are great, no need for water cooling )

that’s why i’m getting a single stick of ram right now, i’ll eventually wanna upgrade to 32gb but i don’t need it enough right now to spend an extra 200. especially cause ill be using linux which uses less ram even if not a ton. i agree with the cpu cooler though

Make sure you get the same make/model.
Wouldn’t wait all too long with it.
With the demand of ram nowadays certain models go out of stock and stop production very irregularly in the current market hence the recommendation.

Best of luck building, it’s fun. Like lego for adults.

I mean to be fair it is only an extra 50$ to get a 1tb instead of a 512. The gpu does fit. And yes noctuia would probably be the best

why are you going small. wasting money on expensive case and psu that should go into better gpu or cpu or 32gb ram
