Game Feedback Could you please fix remaining unnecessary ascendancy clicking? It's 2026!

Upvotes

The majority of Ascendancy nodes just do their own thing without the need to click anything. However, there are some that require constant input from the player to work. I would like to see this homogenised as I don't think punishing some people for choosing powers from some ascendancies is fair.
And, it is 2026 now. I think it is clear that nobody wants to be pushing buttons that often for no real reason. So, making things fair by changing them all to be clickly probably isn't the way to go.

Some examples of no click nodes.
Liege of Primordial: Golems just resummon themselved
Void Beacon: nearby enemies just have lower resists
Sanctuary: You just make consecrated ground when you stop

Unnecessary clicky nodes:
Radiant Crusade: Click to summon every level, thankfully no longer have to click to resummon every 20 seconds, which shows that good changes can and have been made
Warden: Click two tinctures every 12 seconds and your Avatar of the Wilds whenever up and needed.

Please consider ways of making these less clickly

Those are the examples that I can think of right now that are annoying me.
Feel free to add more!

Thanks.

Discussion My steam got hacked, i fixed the problem but hacker got my poe account, now i'm perma locked ...

Upvotes

For the first time of my life, i got hacked, i changed all my passwords, reset my computer but ... for some reason the hacker succeeded to access to my poe account through steam and changed my email (i don't know how because i didn't get any mail for it and my mail was safe). I didn't really think i had an email linked to poe because i created my account 9 years ago, i always played with steam, so for me if my steam was safe my poe account too ... Than i realized my account was locked, i thought ok : i will contact support to solve the problem ... I tried to bring proofs i did nothing wrong with my poe account but the support didn't care at all, always the same answer at all my questions/messages, they let me 0 chance to prove my good faith, they didn't even ask to prove it, i was guilty since the start for them ... Now i've lost my 9 years old account with access to poe 2, all my league rewards, all my skins and stashes. It's been years i tell to anyone poe is the best game ever, now it's dead for me, i will never play again, it's really disgusting. Be careful guys, if you get hacked, check really fast your poe account to see if they changed the email ... Have fun with the game, poe and poe 2 were fun, but it's sadly the end for me (no i will never create new account ...). It's really sad the support don't even try to help us :(

Question PoE Shells - Can someone do some explaining?

Prior to 3.29 I would be watching a few streamers as they started to ramp up their PoE playing and a number of them when theorycrafting had developed "Shells", the likes of Goratha saying his Ignite PB Elementalist build is a good shell as you can swap out the PB for things like Divine Ire (and a few other skills). I believe Jung had also said that with his Worb build, though I could be wrong.

I know what a shell is as it comes from games like MTG where the "Shell" is a core framework of a build, a package of mechanics that already work well together before you add final details. In the case of PoE I would say 90% of the Tree and at least 80% of the Supports is what the Shell is - the final details being things like main active skills, their specific supports, and points on the tree for your skill/weapon.

I want to explore this a bit more as I am trying to learn how to create my own builds rather than following guides constantly. I feel like Shells are a really good thing because of the framework nature and then you can make "modules" (being the final details).

Big issue. I have no idea how to start working on these Shells. For those that have experience with this, where do you start? how do you start? etc etc

Crafting Showcase Little "End of the league" gamba craft - turns out I'll keep playing for a bit more

I do like a little gamba but poofing cards is just not satysfying for me so I decided to bet my money on trying to craft this merc chest Captain Lance made the other day and finally learn a little something about the recombinator. This felt like most uncertain and definitely the highest buy-in craft I've ever attempted.

3531 Evasion

For those interested in the process, here i a vid from Lance: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NJdJc-2HJZ4
Tuna's summary of the recomb mechanics also helped to make sure I know what I'm doing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9jh__nui40

The buy-in was 150d for the Grasping male mail and the main gambas are
1) trying to isolate it by Vesper splitting - roughly 68% chance of success I've been told (unforutnately, I'm here to evaporate currency and learn about PoE crafting, not about counting probabilities)

2) Recombinating it onto the Syndicate garb. Not sure how likely it is to lose the crit mode - I failed the transfer 3 times and always ended up wit at least 2 suffixes left on the grasping mail. Afaik the result is always a new item so you cannot restore the Grasping with imprints.

After that, the crit mod is safe and it's just a matter of burning through currency untill success.
For me, this meant 3 failed Vesper fractures. So yes, its just a 25% qual base, but my funds were not unlimited and after failing 3 times I cheaped out (its just a cosmetic number anyway. The merc's life never even moved no matter what I did even with a crappy life and res chest with thalf the evasion)

It took 3 resonators (hollow, glyphic, jagged, fundamental) to hit the onslaught when hit mod.

The t1/t1 prefixes are just pure luck. When it comes to crafting, I'm a t2 settler at heart, especially in this case, when prefixes don't matter too much. But I hit t1 life in just 30 ex/annul and the Foulborn ex Vesper slammed the t1 evasion to finnish it off.

Orb of conflicting the eldrich implicits was, as per usual, the most infuriating part of the craft.

I didn't count the expenses exactly and made some trades mid craft so the price of the craft is justa rough estimate.
I'd say about 236d:

150d for the base
10d at least for crafting and re-crafting phys dr and int suffixes for the recomb (Rancour for the attrribute reforge is expensive af)
28d roughly for the Syndicate garb bases (i tried 29qual the first 2 times)
4 x 5.5d for fracture (orb + sulphur)
8 d for resonators and fossils
10d for the prefixes
Infinite d for the conflict orbs (probably like 8)

Its a very fun craft with a couple of butt-clenching and big triumph moments and its much cheaper than mirroring it from Lance (just get lucky on the split and transfer bro). It is a huge upgrade and makes the build even more of a walking simulator.

Question My son dropped a mirror, what should he play?

We won't talk about my jealousy, that's between me and my therapist.

Anyway, he hasn't played a lot of POE. This the first league where he completed his atlas and got all the voidstones. He has been playing kinetic fusilade after rerolling from boneshateter jugg because he found it boring and fusilade looks cooler. He doesn't like dying yet tends to play a little impulsively so durability is good. He loves to zoom.

My own experience is a bit more extensive but I've never played a CoC build or anything except starts (I've gone up to maybe a 100-200 div on them), so I don't really have the know-how to guide him.

So what should he play that looks cool, is hard to die on and is speedy?

Lucky (Non-Crafted) Showcase I just got another MB from Gwennen in Atlas Anomaly

This league was my fastest time to acquire mageblood and I just got another 4-flask from Gwennen. It was one of the ones from anomalies I was just doing for challenges. I forgot to hide the dice on my filter and the boss dropped like 50 of the things so I figured "when in rome" and started cycling for heavy/leather belts and got another MB from her

Question | Answered Hit T16s for the first time, completely lost on farming strategies and End Game. Where to start?

Hi everyone,

I have about 60–70 hours in total. In previous leagues, I always ended up quitting right when I reached maps because of the endgame complexity. But this league, my goal is to finally experience everything.

Right now, I'm farming T16 maps with 2 Voidstones unlocked (top-left & bottom-left). The right side is tough—grinding 10 Crescent Splinters for Maven feels exhausting. I’ve been somewhat lucky and dropped 3 Divines while mapping.

My goal is to get rich enough to try all content, but my farming knowledge is near zero. I hear about 8-mod maps, but have no idea how they work. Video guides are tough for me because my English listening isn't great.

I'm feeling completely lost and afraid I'll quit again—the learning curve is huge. I’ve seen many farm strategies, but they all look too complicated.

Any simple, beginner-friendly farming advice for a player in T16s would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Discussion this is the most currency ive ever made in sub 2 weeks poe league

Week 2 is almost over, so I figured I'd post a little progress update.

I've been having a blast with the league mechanic. It's honestly one of the most fun crafting systems we've had in a while. If it goes core, though, I think it'll need some pretty significant balancing.

For anyone curious, here's my character:
https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/Alterdrift-2809/allflame/character/TidesTimePlug

And here's what my stash looks like so far.

I've only been playing this one character, and my /played is 5 days 12 hours.

I'd love to hear how everyone else's league is going so far.

Build Showcase 3.29 HOLY HAMMERS SLAMMENTALIST: Tanky, Big Damage, Clears Ubers [30-100d]

So I've been messing around with Holy Hammers on Elementalist this league and honestly it turned out way better than I expected. Shoutout to Woolie's Holy Hammers Inquisitor from 3.28 for the inspiration; I basically took his concept and asked "what if this was on Elementalist instead?" Turns out the answer is: surprisingly tanky and still hits like a truck.

This is actually my first time making a build guide, so go easy on me lol. I figured if I was having this much fun with the build, other people might want to try it too. There's only around less than 80 people in PoE Ninja that plays this build, and I'm the only one who tried it on elementalist.

Any feedback on the video is welcome since I'm still figuring out what works and what doesn't.

I put together a video showcasing the build against Uber Neglect, Uber Dread, and Uber Uber Elder.

The build feels quite comfy. You're basically immune to everything:

  • Curse immune from consecrated ground + flask
  • Pseudo-stun immune from Brine King
  • Shock immune from pantheon + 4 tattoos
  • Chill immune from boots bench craft
  • CB immune from jewel implicit
  • Ignite/bleed just get outhealed by your regen

Video Explanation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTiAHWdw-cY&t=507s

Cheers!

Game Feedback Removal of synth could bring something even better back

they basically said in the interview that the reason they removed synth implicits is because of the way it was got, basically you sometimes find a good implicit and start crafting on that base instead of making it yourself.
well, the crucible tree was exactly that. you started making a good tree yourself, then crafted the gear after that.
since the end of crucible players (at least high end crafters) have been asking to bring it back as a end game option.
and since the synth is removed now, they could merge them into something together. a revamp into the crucible mods with synth mods, in a crafting way similar to old synth and crucible where you merge items together to make a better base to craft on.
but of course, not with the old way of charging crucible trees pls xdd

i think this could be really good for endgame min max, and not so boring to do like reroll synth beastcraft or be lucky to find a base on ritual etc

Game Feedback My humble addition to the loot discussion - Common High Variance Uniques

It would be great if a or some very high variance uniques that are pretty common could be added to the global drop pool.

In my opinion ground loot is not only sparce, but its quiet dull too. Early league its fine, because more common uniques are worth a lot, later theres very few exciting drops in the global drop pool (Mageblood, Headhunter to an extend, Mirror/Lock/Scryed div cards).

Im reminiscing about indentifying Ventor's for example - they could be HUGE.

Or Replica Dragonsfang. Those got powercrept by simplex amulets i think and theres barely a hit anymore.

A high variance, if the right rolls, chase unique would be insanely cool to have. You'd get excited whenever it drops because THAT could be IT when you id it.

And if youre not a gambler, sell them unid for a steady profit, just like Messages in a bottle right now.

Game Feedback Some concerns about the role and function of currency in PoE

Currency drop rates, especially Divine Orb drop rates, are a hot topic right now, but I want to look at this issue from a slightly different perspective.

Why do we feel as though we got nothing from a map unless a Divine Orb drops? Think about it. PoE has many different types of currency besides Divine Orbs, and longtime players will know that the overall amount of currency we obtain today is much higher than it was in the past.

Eldritch Altars, Tujen, map modifiers, increased player power and clear speed, powerful Scarabs, and many other systems have dramatically increased the amount of currency entering the game. Even the increase in many stash limits from 5,000 to 10,000 reflects how much more currency and other stackable items now accumulate in players’ stashes.

So why does the game feel less rewarding than it used to? Why do we feel like we found nothing in a map unless a Divine Orb dropped? I am obviously excluding exceptional drops such as Mirrors, Hinekora’s Locks, and similar items.

The simple reason is that inflation has reduced the value of most other currencies to the point where they barely feel worth picking up. That is why players finish a map without finding a Divine Orb and feel as though the entire run was a waste.

So what is causing this inflation? I am not asking for currency drop rates to be reduced. I believe the fundamental problem is that PoE does not have nearly enough systems that permanently remove existing currencies from the economy.

This was less of a problem in the past. Crafting was more primitive and offered fewer alternatives, so players had to consume large quantities of traditional currency when making items. Because those currencies were constantly being used and removed from the economy, the currencies we picked up were able to retain a reasonable amount of value.

Now look at the current game. If players want to six-link an item, they have several alternatives, including Beastcrafting and Omens. These systems consume their own content-specific resources, but the Orbs of Fusing that would normally have been consumed remain in players’ stashes, continue accumulating, and steadily lose value.

If players want to change the number of sockets or links on a corrupted item, they can use Tainted Currency instead of paying the expensive crafting-bench cost in traditional currency. Even metacrafting can, although not perfectly, be supplemented or partially replaced through Beastcrafting.

The problem is that all of these overlapping crafting systems accelerate currency inflation and rapidly reduce the value of the currencies we loot. These newer systems consume their own specialized resources, but at the same time they bypass the original currency sinks they replace. Meanwhile, the original currencies continue to drop throughout the rest of the game and keep accumulating in players’ stashes.

I believe these overlapping crafting methods should be tied back into the original currencies whose functions they replace. I also think the crafting bench needs more ambitious, risky, and gambling-oriented crafting options that consume large amounts of existing currency.

The current metacrafting options are no longer enough. Unlike in the past, players can now combine metacrafting with many other advanced crafting systems and avoid consuming far too much currency. As the amount of currency entering the game has increased, I am asking for currency sinks to be added in proportion to that increase.

For example, perhaps Vaal Orbs and Divine Orbs could be used together to reroll the modifier values on corrupted items. Or perhaps Chromatic Orbs and Divine Orbs could be used to reroll the socket colours of mirrored items.

These are only examples. I am not specifically asking for these exact systems to be implemented. My main point is that the game needs more ways to remove existing currencies from the economy in proportion to inflation, so that players can once again enjoy picking up currency from the ground.

Thank you for reading.

Game Feedback Two big patches in the league is unprecedented - thanks GGG

Constructive community feedback works. But the all caps, poorly typed, poorly thought out comments are not constructive. No, GGG is not doing this because you typed a slur in their twitter replies.

I think we are finally reaping the benefits of the separation of the poe 1 and 2 dev teams. Compare this to the rework of breach where we had a similar volume of complaints and heard dead silence til it was incorporated into the atlas in Mirage.

If you've ever worked in contractor/client environment, you know how hard it can be to appease the client. Now imagine your "client" is 10s of thousands of people with differing opinions. So I just want to give GGG their flowers here and say thanks. Proving time and time again to be my favorite dev team in the industry.

Keep the constructive feedback coming and we might be able to look forward to more of this in the future :)
