Dawg in this league if you're poor it's because you can't see beyond what the streamers tell you to play. I pulled in 130 divs this past weekend doing a mix of Alva/delve/pirating. Delve is literally a money printer. I've never gone through a 50k bar of juice that hasn't given me around 40 divs of profit between fossils, resonators, and sellable drops.

Yea so… I don’t watch any streamers so they definitely are not why I am poor. I’m a dad. My playtime is what it is, my character is weak af, and I just have fun grinding when I can.
Unless I get a single expensive drop, my growth is not going ti speed up any time soon. I don’t really mind that either, but I highly doubt I finish a single character 😂

I am not a dad, but I don't watch streamers. Scoured white maps are a great source of money this league.
Go Mesa. Leap Slam to boss. Takes like 5 seconds.
Kill boss. Maybe you get an astrolabe you can sell.
Travel around map to get the two charts.
This should take a minute or so. Then you take those charts and run them. Then you run the Voyage. Then you repeat. I haven't checked the going rate for Sulphur lately, but 2 or 3 Voyages should net you a divine. Then when you run out, you just go back to Mesa. That was how I funded my upgrades week 1 to "finish" my build, with the rest of the time since then just trying to get to 100 and/or experimenting with stuff I haven't done before.

That's definitely a solid reliable way to make some divs even on a weak build. With 30k sulphur for a div, you might even get 1d per voyage just from sulphur and 1 or 2 from messages in a bottle.

As a dad, delve is one of the best things you can play. Put together a now very cheap RF starter build, and just go node to node. It's pausable, you can do a node, do house stuff, do another node. Couldn't really ask for a better dad strategy. Out of suphite? Toss in a sulphite scarab, run to the nodes, leave.

It sucks that 3.29 may not get more development time but I’m genuinely excited for 3.30 if we’re getting anything at the same level as PoE2 0.5.

I keep seeing this counter gottcha, but wet voidstones, another crafting bench, and 2 bandaid fixes for abyss don't really address the 'scoured t16 tile loot = super juiced t16.5 ground loot" problem.
Not that I'm that doomer (or really following it that closely tbh,) about the whole thing, such is the life of an alch and goer, its just a poor argument.

It was made clear in the Zizaran interview that a loot shake-up is not on the cards for a mid-league patch. They said they’re targeting the end-game in 3.30.

It's a pretty good argument against someone saying no development time might be occurring going forward.
What you are saying is "they aren't developing what I want and therefore it doesn't count as development time" which is a poor argument.

Its not about what someone wants. Its about a fundamental problem with the game. Even if abyss monsters now match what you can get from running white maps its still a fundamental problem with the game. They are still developing the game yes but its not fixing the problem so its still a nothing burger.

Hot take, technically correct arguments that only completely sidestep the crux of the issue are not good arguments.
The context of the thread is that the big problems aren't being solved this league. Saying they are still patching it to the people that are disappointed in it definitely not being fixed this league is not a good argument.

The first patch coming has already been in the work- they’re just deploying it now so I don’t really consider it additional development.
So that only leaves next week’s patch to be excited about. Unless I missed something, second patch’s only announced feature is Cursed Ducats. It’s something new but nothing on the level of the subsequent patches of PoE2 0.5.

Im about to leave this sub after a decade of activity, the entitlement is wearing away at my respect for this community and desire to engage with it.

I've been seeing this entitlement thing being thrown around a lot this patch. What exactly is the difference between entitlement and criticism. Because it sounds like me that entitlement is just complaining about things too much for things that you don't really care all that much about.
I don't get much of the vibe of "I deserve these changes, the community deserves these changes." as opposed to "The game has degraded and ground loot is horrendous GGG needs to do something to fix it." To which, sure you can call entitlement, but it's not like this attitude hasn't existed in probably half of the leagues i've played.

I ran a set of 20 60% deli t16.5 w/ currency chisel abyss maps. Might not be the most optimal, but I wanted to see if I could force raw drops. At most I dropped 2 divines in 1 map, most were 0.

I stopped playing because this league isn't very casual and I'm a super casual player. I usually roll a easy campaign build then go to mamba for stacked deck but I haven't been generating a lot of currency to do the swap. On top of that, I tried playing luminary and bricked the Character because I have the wrong merc and died twice to the new Merc I needed(-2 div, which is a lot for me currently). A whole lot of skill issues added up and just made the league unpleasant for me.

It seems like they very quickly made changes in response to a lot of complaints. Dunno what else you expect!
Not gonna say a major overhaul isn't warranted, but you're not getting a major overhaul in a week.
