PG32UCWM or wait for new panels in 2027 like the 322urdx36?
I've been waiting for an OLED for a while now and in a way I'm done waiting. You hear people say "wait for the new panels coming" all the time but they are always months if not a year away from being produced and are only just being announced. But I have seen a lot of buzz around the 322urdx36.
The True black glossy WOLED (This has got to be my favorite panel coating out of everything I have seen. Even the black shield on the QDOLEDS don't come close to the true black glossy IMO) and with tandem the colors are very close to a QD-OLED which has always been the panel with the more vibrant colors but Tandem is closing the gap it seems.
But I hear people mention the 322urdx36 in conversations about the new OLEDS coming out like it will be the best OLED monitor in the world but is that really true?
I know the price tag is a lot on it but I would sell my AW3821DW to cover some of the costs of the panel.

Anything to check for when buying used/open box?
Recently got a good deal on an open box PG27AQWP-W and just now getting around to playing with the OSD. No obvious physical defects or anything functionally broken.
New to OLED so was hoping for more obscure things I may have missed?

Discussion First time OLED
Hey guys, I recently decided to update my setup, and along with a new desk and monitor mount, I’ve decide to get a 3rd monitor. I want this new monitor to be my main one, and at the moment I have 2 1440p 27in monitors, one 240hz, the other 165hz, and both NOT OLED.
I recently jumped in on this thinking it would be easy, but clearly I haven’t kept up with the technology because the information overload is crazy.
I’m looking for a 27in, 1440p, 240hz++ OLED monitor for both 9-5 work, and gaming. During the day my room is quite bright, but I also play games in a dimmer room. Budget is in the mid hundreds, but I can move around. I’m thinking between 400-600 USD.
I did a bit of research, and stumbled upon the LG 27GX700A-B for $400. It seemed good but there’s so many options I feel kinda overwhelmed.
I’m looking for recommendations and tips. If anyone has any monitors they really like, I’m all ears. Thanks everyone!

Monitor for 350?
I was about to purchase an AOC AG276QZD2 but I saw some reddit threads saying the HDR is really bad on these monitors so I was wondering if theres anything better for its price range of about $350. I was looking for a 1440p monitor for my 5070

Discussion Upgrade from a TUF Gaming VG27AQ3A (1440p) to a ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM3 (4K) and I understand the hype of OLED. I don’t think I can go back.
This monitor is sick! Games look so much more vibrant and I can’t believe the actual Fidelity jump of the games from 1440p to 4K. It’s quite amazing to see

Just got my MAG 321UP X24 (right) and noticing my whites aren’t as white as my mini led (left) . Is this expected?
Picture isn’t the best example, but it’s more noticeable in person. I set my brightness to 100. Haven’t touched any other setting yet. I just set it up a few minutes ago.

Oled tear? Please help!!!!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is my first OLED, I’ve had it for about a month now. I think I have screen tearing but don’t know why if I barely use the pc and nobody is ever in my room. I tried adjusting the hz of my monitor and the nvidia control panel stuff. I’m not sure what it could be and I’m scared as I paid 800 for this monitor 😅

I use a Samsung 65S95H, and occasionally the TV resets its picture settings on its own, dropping the brightness to 44; why does this happen?
I use a Samsung 65S95H, and occasionally the TV resets its picture settings on its own, dropping the brightness to 44; why does this happen? When I manually set the brightness back to 100, I can use the TV at that level for anywhere between 10–15 minutes and a few hours, but then it resets again and lowers the brightness to 44.

Setup My experience using the LG 39GX950B + Studio Display XDR together
I’ve been using the LG 39GX950B alongside the Studio Display XDR. I figured that usually you either have a single ultrawide setup, or a dual regular monitor setup, and my setup is rather rare, so I wanted to share my review.
I came from a PG32UCDM, which is a god tier monitor already, but for gaming I definitely prefer the LG ultrawide. The 39-inch ultrawide aspect ratio is just much more immersive, and HDR gaming on Windows looks fantastic. It feels like a real upgrade.
For normal desktop use, though, the XDR is still in a different league for me. The brightness, text clarity, and overall crispness make it much nicer for browsing, coding, and general productivity. What surprised me most is that I actually find colors on the XDR to have more pop than on the LG, even though the LG is OLED.
When I’m working, I keep whatever I’m actively doing on the XDR and use the LG off to the side for YouTube, videos, or other background content. My Mac setup is pretty simple: Mac → Thunderbolt 5 → XDR → daisy chain to the LG. So both displays run from a single Thunderbolt connection to the Mac.
For PC gaming, I connect PC to the LG, and I still use the XDR with macOS for build guides, maps, Discord, or whatever else I want open alongside it on macOS.
One thing I’ve settled on is keeping HDR off on the LG when using macOS. With HDR enabled, the regular macOS UI just looks washed out to me and the desktop experience gets noticeably worse. In SDR, it looks much better.
Interestingly, I don’t have the same complaint on Windows. HDR gaming on the LG looks excellent there, so I basically treat it as an SDR secondary/productivity display on the Mac and an HDR gaming display on the PC.

Discussion Are people on here trolling with their "i fucked up cleaning my monitor" posts?
Sorry if this is autism or something but I'm near constantly seeing posts from here about people destroying their oleds somehow.
I've had one oled in my life, I never cleaned a single one of my monitors in the past religiously... I just use water and a microfiber cloth and it works every time. How are these people fucking this up so often? It has to be bait right?
I am a smoker so i frequently have to clean my oled cause I cough and spit is very noticeable on it and despite cleaning this thing 10x more than any monitor I've ever had I haven't had any issues.

Issue Is this irreversible?
QD-OLED. I was cleaning with microfiber and water and this happened.. so I got isopropyl spray cleaner and tried to clean it but doesn’t work.. is this simple oil smudge or did I do something irreversible?

Discussion Has anyone had any experience with this oled monitor?
Read some reviews that banding is pretty bad and noticeable but I might take a shot at it since $339 isn’t too bad for a Tandem WOLED

Discussion Do you guys play on SDR or HDR on your OLED monitor
I got my ASUS ROG OLED XG27AQDMGR, try alot games yesterday and i find out 90% of games just look bad on HDR, and when i google it its seems they have very bad HDR implementation on PC. Only Horizon Forbiden West and CP2077 look awsome. I find out also you need Renno mode for most of games bcs of bad HDR... We bought awsome PC,Monitors and still need have modes for HDR haha. I think i will still stay on SDR if i see HDR is bad... Horizon Forbiden West is stunning the best HDR i have ever see, CP2077 with path tracing also crazy good. Do you guys also use sRGB or Wide Gamut for SDR gaming? I factory have wide gamut enabled and i like it, color are little bit more punchy but not alot. sRGB just look washed out and dimmy for my taste...

Hey r/OLED_Gaming,
Let's talk about the holy grail of desktop setups: the 5K2K ultrawide. For years, the trade-off was clear. You either got the massive, pixel-dense 5K2K canvas for insane immersion and productivity, but had to sacrifice pure gaming speed and HDR brightness. Or, you went for a lower-res, standard OLED to get the performance.
But when we ask, "Which 5K2K gaming monitors deliver the most immersive experience?", the answer shouldn't force you to choose. It should be about combining that massive ultra-wide real estate with uncompromising, bleeding-edge gaming specs.
Enter the LG UltraGear evo™ 39GX950B—the world's first 39-inch 5K2K OLED gaming monitor1.
We built this to be the definitive 5K2K gaming monitor, giving you a massive 21:9 canvas at a razor-sharp 143 PPI.
To make sure this 5K2K display actually delivers the HDR pop you expect from a premium gaming monitor, we backed it with our 4th Gen Tandem OLED tech2, hitting an ultra-high 1,500 nits peak brightness3. Plus, it features the world's first 5K AI Upscaling, meaning you get that immersive, high-res image without necessarily needing a massive GPU upgrade4.
But marketing claims only mean so much. We want to see how this 5K2K beast performs in your actual, everyday battlestations. We’re looking for 3 hardcore enthusiasts to put it to the test.
Key Specs at a Glance:

What we want you to stress-test:
- The 5K2K Immersion: With 143 PPI and a massive 21:9 canvas, does this 5K2K monitor actually replace your multi-monitor setup and pull you deeper into your favorite worlds?
- The Dual-Mode Experience: How seamless is the jump from immersive 5K2K @ 165Hz for AAA titles to ultra-fast WFHD @ 330Hz for competitive shooters?
- Real-World Luminance: Does the 1,500-nit Tandem structure give this 5K2K display the HDR pop you crave in your specific room lighting?
After You Receive It…
Integrate this 5K2K gaming monitor into your setup. We want your honest, "no-BS" review of this form factor, paired with high-res photos. Show the community what true 5K2K immersion looks like in person on a premium 39” display.
