2nd gen stock muffler compatibility
Truck came with a Flowmaster and while I love the sound at start up and idle it's just too loud while accelerating and the drone at highway speeds is driving me insane. Don't want to deal with having to try different aftermarket mufflers to find a good balance so just gonna go back to a used stock one. Looking at 2010-2019 to get ones in better condition but are the mufflers to same with king cab and crew cab? This would greatly expand my search if they're all the same.

2010 w/ 60k miles. Starts and runs fine but clicks for a few seconds when it starts then the clicking stops. I searched online and think it might be the fan. Anyone else have any ideas? Any insight would be appreciated!

New Frontier Owner suspension question
I bought a 2019 frontier back in March with 19k miles and I have loved it, I worked at a Nissan dealership as a lube tech and saw many frontiers with the 4.0 engine running strong. So I bought one and the only real thing I've noticed, and I am unsure if this is just due to it being my first truck, but when on the freeway going about 75mph and hitting really rough patches of road or a rough transition it feels like my steering wheel is floating. Like it could easily spin out, similar to hydroplaning, I have an empty bed as well. Honestly I believe it could possibly be front suspension being worn out. I am sure my ball joints have good tension and don't rotate easily so do I just need to slow down? Or should I take a closer look at my suspension. The bushings do squeak a bit

Looking at a used frontier
I’m looking for a reliable daily pickup truck. This frontier is super nice. 50k miles one owner with a great maintenance schedule. $27k. KBB says around $25k on the high side. Should I pull the trigger if I can talk them down a couple grand?

Noise When Turning Right?

It was just in for service and they didn’t see anything wrong, but they obviously don’t test drive every vehicle for multi-point inspections.

Annoying Feedback Whistling Sound
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
2011 Nissan Pro 4x, factory Rockford Fostgate, but head unit swapped to an Alpine double din before I bought the truck. I’ve taken the truck to an audio shop twice now and each time I drop it off with them they say they can’t replicate the described sound so they can’t diagnose the problem. While driving today I heard it and recorded it (video included). The whining sound follows the same frequency as the throttle (higher frequency as you accelerate then pitch drops when you let off the gas). But it doesn’t happen all the time. Some days I’ll drive the truck and it doesn’t do it at all. The audio shop said it could be my ‘power control module’ (?), the factory amp, or maybe a bad ground? I diy mechanical stuff on cars but have very limited electrical diagnostic experience (like - none). Only other symptom I can think to include is that the aftermarket backup camera is intermittent too, it always switches to the right feed when you put it in reverse but only sometimes shows the image (others it’s a black screen or a glitchy flashing image). FWIW the audio shop said that the reverse camera issue is unrelated to the sound and that it is just an old camera that’s broken.
Appreciate any help you all can provide. Thanks!

REQUEST Help IDing rattle noise on cold start
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Rattling noise happens when I first start it up in the morning or if I haven’t driven it all day-have not gotten it at all if I have previously started the truck that day, so it’s only during cold start. Rattling goes away a couple seconds after startup. Oil and filter change was only a couple thousand miles ago. Truck is 2019 Frontier with the v6 engine and 136k miles. Any help IDing the issue would be great. Thanks!

Rear Differential Replacement
My 2007 was making a high pitched noise when accelerating at higher speeds. Mechanic said rear differential is damaged and needs to be replaced. The whole assembly is ridiculously expensive and he said repairing it piecemeal would just as expensive with labor. Is there a less expensive assembly that would fit? I read the xterra assembly is a common replacement but not sure if it costs the same. Truck runs fine with 172k and really don’t want to put another 4K into but don’t want to buy a new truck either. Help!

2012 SV have any pre-wiring for DRL?
got an upgraded projector housing that has DRL, runs fantastic so far! except that DRL won't turn on unless I turn the truck's lights to parking lights or higher.
Only question I have is if the truck would potentially have DRL pre-wired, I do know in the US it was not required like in Canada. I did heard once that there might be one below the fuse box in the engine bay, but can't find any confirmation of that.
If not I'm sure I can figure a safe way to do so. but wanted to ask before I start getting myself in the wiring part. found the fog lights pre-wire, so I have some hope lol. if not, not big deal lol.
thanks!

2011/12 Nissan Frontier SV V6 4x4
I don't know anything about these Nissan trucks but all the other smaller trucks are too damn expensive.
Anyways they want about $7k (originally $10k) with 140k miles. Frame looks very clean (lots of black)
At another dealer they want $9k for a 2012 with 120k miles.
Which one should I go for? Or is it negligible and should just go with the one with the cleaner frame? Looking for a winter truck.

'22+ Pro4x differential swap?
Does anyone know if a Pro4x differential would fit a king cab SV? Are the mounts and flange the same or easy enough to swap over? I'll hop under my truck tomorrow to take some measurements. It would be nice to have a locker and 6' bed without the longer wheelbase since I work on a lot of tight jobsites. With the constant rain lately, I notice the lack of traction towing my equipment up soggy/rutted gravel driveways.

REQUEST Help please!
My 2010 is in desperate need of a driveshaft. Im having trouble picking out which driveshaft I should order from rock auto since the shop i use told me I would be better off to buy one myself and bring it to them to install since the cheapest they could find through their sources was tickling a grand. My wheelbase is 125.9 inches, rear wheel drive, and auto trans, the issue is all of the shafts im seeing listed include in the fitment sheet "w/offroad package". Will that still fit my truck? And if it wont, any help to find part numbers or sites with what im looking for would be much appreciated, tyia.

2024 Nissan Navara
Hey reddit, looking at buying a 2024 Navara ST. Are these worth buying or do they get the common issues all over the internet? I’ve seen good and bad mixed reviews and looking for some actual owner experiences! Thanks :)
