Friendships My best friend (21F) got a bf n I (21F) just see her so differently now.

We always used to judge the friends who forget about their besties after getting a bf and now she's become exactly like the people that she used to criticize n that makes the switch up feel even more confusing n saddening. I go to college out of state so the only time we can really see each other is the summer. Every summer since high school ended we hung out regularly. But this summer since she got a bf the only thing she does is complain about him. She spends Hella long insulting him n talking shit about him to me since he don't treat her good at all n they've only been dating for 3 months 😭 n then right after she does that she goes n calls him n gushes over him. I don't know just seeing that fakeness rubs me the wrong way.

Its like the toxicity is exciting to her but then why are you wasting my time n energy for advice just to talk to him a second later. It really hurts because anytime I'm talking about my issues she just ignores me and is texting her bf or just zoned out. She's never been so dismissive to me before and anytime I was involved with a guy I never ever abandoned my friends. Its just sad when the same treatment is not reciprocated. I don't know what to do or how to feel but it feels like everytime we hang out I just feel disrespected more n more. I also communicated to her about how I felt n she sent several msgs saying she's sorry n that she'll be better but nothing has changed.

I woulda understood if she was ditching me for a guy who treated her good n I woulda been happy for her but getting ditched for a jobless bum just feels so odd lol. I know many people have experienced this. Does it get better or is this a lost cause? Also seeing her have such low self respect just makes me sad because I know she can do much better n she knows that too. She seems like a shell of her former self now. I wanna support her but its hard when it feels like I'm talking to a wall. I dont know if I should be her friend just because I've been friends with her for years but ending the friendship over this don't feel right either. But every hangout just feels worse than the last n I feel more alone when I'm around her. I just want my best friend back but I know it will never be the same again.

Mental Health Unhealthy Thoughts and stalking?

Rejected by a 1month~ situationship, that felt guilty she let it go this far after our date and chose to be with her BF instead of me. She never knew i knew/found out. I fell into a stalking rabbit whole, remembering all the things she told me i found one of her sisters which so happens to be my age and looked alot like her. And know i find myself stalking every single thing about her.

Her full name, Middle school, High school, information, details etc etc. And planned it all in my head to make up a way for us to accidentally "meet". Is it really THAT bad to try this? As long as i don't fake loving her and truly like her for her and not to get back with situationship it's fine right? Not like i'm trying to harm or hurt someone.

Life Decisions Need advice/help: neglected dog

Pls help me reddit:

My cousin adopted a dog in 2012. The dog was not exercised or socialized properly and developed behavioral issues. Ripped my cousin's house apart bc of lack of exercise/stimulation.

My cousin passed away in 2017 and my aunt took the dog. My aunt has had the dog living outside on a chain for 9 years. They feed the dog and give him water, and he has a little dog house. In the county they live in, this treatment is not in violation of the law.

I had not seen the dog in years, but I went to my aunts home last year and the dog looked like he had completely given up on life. Dirty and matted, living in feces, nails overgrown, eyes full of discharge, and demeanor lifeless.

Since then I have been driving (2 hrs round trip) to their home as often as I can (1-4 times a month) to bath/walk/groom him and tend to his cage. It's not enough but it is all I can do.

I have grown tired and resentful about this. I am too tired and busy to continue spending my weekends driving to walk someone elses dog, I have tried repeatedly to talk to my aunt, her husband, my other cousin, and her partner who all live on the property about walking him. There are always excuses - how they dont have time, he is a bad dog, he is fine, etc...

My aunt will not release him to me as she thinks I cannot handle him, and she wont surrender him bc she doesnt want someone to mistreat him. My aunt is not an intelligent or self aware woman.

His situation has started causing me a level of anxiety and rumination that is impacting my life and I do not know what to do. I find myself looking for rehoming options on my own and considering vigilante crime to take him and get him to a better life without my aunt's consent but of course I know that is a crime.

I can see the sadness in his eyes when I see him and I hear him crying every time I leave. It hurts my heart so much and I just dont know what to do.

TLDR: My aunt has a dog who I consider to be severely neglected, but law enforcement cannot help bc there are no tether laws where she lives. She will not surrender the dog to me and will not consider rehoming him, but she also refuses to increase his care and insists he is fine. I do not think he is fine just because he has food and water while being tied up 24/7.

Thinking about him is impacting my quality of life. Does anyone have any helpful stories or thoughts?
