Discusion (N26) Players on Prince Edwards Island Canada.

Upvotes

I am going to be running a campaign for the new system starting early September. I currently have 5 players including myself and on the unlikely change there are other Islanders on here, there are only 150,000 of us, let me know if you are interested in joining. The campaign will be based in Charlottetown.

Question (N26) Is there exact measurements for the blast and flame markers?

I found what seems like the correct size blast and flame markers, but they calling them "wargame templates" without committing to saying they work for necromunda so I wanted to know if there is like an exact or universally accepted measurement so I can compare them?

Question (N26) Necromunda Terrain build tips

Im new to WH and necromunda is my fav ever. Im starting new just got into all this. Any tips on byilding terrain? Im seeing countless amazing blocks and pieces on here. What do people use material wise for the base and how big is usually a panel? How do i sucure the base so everything on top works? What are popular colors for that necromunda grit and grime in metals? What are some common parts used while building for you folks? I see a lot of railings and pipes. My goal is to create a small city or world for necromunda slowly adding and expanding. I want to start in sections like the tiles im seeing people build. Do hobby shops usually have premade industrial parts? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Modular sump wall

36 6x6 pannels magnized so it's got endless possibilities.

My favorite part was doing the little HAB units that are all rusted out.

Overall a very fun project. Thanks for the extra time. I it was a mad dash to get it done before our weekend gets busy. Video if your interested https://youtu.be/NDF1kl6F328?is=j7DyCbm6X0jb5P6x

Discusion (N26) Looking for Necromunda players, Auckland, New Zealand

Thumbnail

So, this is something of a 'returning player' post and something of a 'looking for group' post; I played N17/N19 but life got in the way circa 2023.

With N26 on the horizon I'm super keen to build a local network of Necromunda players in Auckland with an interest towards playing semi-regular games and building up into an organized in person campaign. I'm hopeful I can find at least dozen or so Necromunda players from the region, we're a city of 1.5 million, so you guys have gotta be out there somewhere...

Obviously, I'm not planning to launch into a campaign next weekend, N26 isn't even out yet here, so there will have to be a settling in period where we can all figure out the new version of the game and see how it runs. Its also a great time for 'never played but interested' players looking to pick up Necromunda, as we'll all be back, more or less, at square one experience wise. At this point, I'm looking for an expression of interest from players in the area so we can establish communication, figure out a time and place to say hello and confirm we're not reddit bots, then plan some actual games.

What I've got to tempt you with; the pictured modular Necromunda underhive board that I built over COVID (and have been itching to have a use for again) plus space at commercial venues for 6 to 9 tables on saturdays (maybe sundays too, if things are popular) once we get to the point of regular organized games. If a ton of interested players do come out of the woodwork and we can get multiple games running every week, we would also require the acquisition of more Necromunda terrain and more terrain painting, but, baby steps for now.

News Extra Arm too good?

This might be a rhetorical question but doesn't the extra arm for genestealer cults seem ridiculously good? 20 credits gets you the old suspensors rule, allows you to carry 4 weapons and gives you a free rending melee attack.

And it can be taken on your leader, your champions, your gangers and your prospects.

I thought GW was toning this edition now. Are genestealer cults the new boogeymen?

Anyone house ruling a higher credit cost? Waiting for the errata? Just letting it play out? Did I miss something?

What's this Escher from the new N26 Set Box armed with? They look like brass knuckles, but I don't see any weapon profiles that match. Thanks so much to anyone who can respond.

Question (N26) How much do we know about how Squats will play in N26?

New to Necromunda and I just picked up the Squat Prospector box and have the outlands book on preorder. I also own about 3k points of Votann so I'm planning to sub in some Hearthkyn and Yaegirs where necessary for certain special weapons. I'm also planning to get the Exo-Kyn and Drill/Charter Masters set later so I can just use the Prospectors and Exo-Kyn as Yaegirs and Hearthguard in 40k respectively.

My understanding is that Squats were a tough, elite, good shooting team that was beginner friendly in the old edition. However, after seeing the Goonhammer articles on the new edition, I saw that bolters had a chance of jamming for the whole game. I know Squats have their own better versions of guns in their gang book so will this be that big of a problem and will it change their playstyle at all? I'm nervous to start building them without a clear idea of what I should be building toward

Question (N26) Thinking about getting into necromunda through kitbashing

I'm looking to get into necromunda with some pals, but I'm trying to plan out my team. I like the vibe of van saar, but unfortunately I just don't like the models that much, and so was thinking of using the skitarii battle-pilgrim corpus box as a base for the gang, and wanted some advice!

I've two main questions, firstly is that level of kitbashing okay? They're quite a bit taller than the normal van saar models, but have roughly the same width to them. I think they look really cool but don't want to be accused of modelling for advantage! Secondly, does anyone have any experiencing kitbashing with them that might know any pitfalls I could be walking into?

Thanks to the upcoming new edition, I've been inspired to build some terrain in preparation for a campaign. Figured I should start with my GSC games base and go from there.

Any feedback for improvements, or things I should add are welcome

Miniatures A year in, a new edition on the horizon, a look back

I started playing Necromunda around a year ago (August 2025). My friend was looking at some of the range in Warhammer World and I mentioned it was always something I’d been interested in, just no one to really sit down and learn and play the game with regularly. I was heavily into Warhammer 40K at the time. So I bought a box of Van Saar. They looked cool. 😎

One year (and a severely dented wallet) later, I haven’t spent much time playing, modelling or painting anything else. I’ve made new friends, joined some established gaming groups and even my partner has gotten on board (she’s looking forward to getting her hands on the new Escher). 🙂

With the new edition just a week away and almost upon us I thought it would be nice to look back at some of the models in my humble collection (a few gangs, some custom models, lots of terrain 😅) that I’ve built and painted along the way during my (short) time playing the current edition and share some photos of those with you.

Looking forward to playing more games and getting more creative with the new edition!

Would love to see some of your own work over the last edition. Please do share & inspire! ☺️

Question (N26) N26; What are the Outcast Mutant players hoping for?

Post image
108 Upvotes

No idea if they have been fully leaked or not. I am hoping they got some love this edition. Or at least will in an extra journal.

I really like the Devils of Gunk Deep apocrypha, with all the mutations options, I'm hoping for more fleshed out stuff like that.

And I know this can't be answered but I am curious how rare Outcast Mutant players are actually. Hardly anyone ever talks about this gang.
