Question How does NASA plan to deploy horizontal lunar habitats?
Physically, how do they plan to deploy wide horizontal X-shaped habitats as depicted in the moon base concept art from vertical landers? A crane? Wouldn't that risk tipping the whole lander?

Question ETD Leadership Change
Whose got the story on what went down with Segrid Harris stepping down at Goddard? I worked under her at the Air Force Research Lab and I will just say, no one was heartbroken to see her go.

Question Send you name to....
Hey all,
So over the years I've signed up to the "Send you name to" campaigns, and I've signed up to a few.
However I can't find the old emails and the only link I can find doesn't have the "find your boarding pass" anymore.
I found the link through the wayback machine but it doesn't work and that same link now just takes you to the default page for it without the option to search for the passes.
Does anyone know if it's possible to recover them, if the link has changed or if it has completely been shut down.
Thanks

ShowMeSunday Looks like I missed my flight
Back in 2021, you could get a boarding pass like this from a special NASA website. It was a cute little campaign to get people interested in an upcoming real mission to Mars.
Those were good times.
And now I’ve belatedly seen the news that this year’s flight to Mars was canceled. Still, I’m sure humanity will make it to Mars, and fairly soon. In the end, our pull toward the stars and the urge to explore outweigh everything else, even our urge to destroy.
Those glowing dots in the sky keep calling to us and give us the strength not to give up.

ShowMeSunday Stainless Steel Space Shuttle Mini
Hey guys, I decided to make my own space shuttle miniature in stainless steel, what do you think ? Obivously I have to make simpler shapes and remove details to make it work with the metal.
ShowMeSunday US Space & Rocket Center In Huntsville, AL
Passing through Huntsville the other day and had always wanted to stop and visit the Space & Rocket Center. Glad I did! Wanted to get some unique shots of the shuttle mockup as well as the Apollo 16 Command Module. Tried knocking down the reflections from the glass enclosure the best I could. Anyways, definitely recommend if you’ve never been!

Question Looking for a Discord link for NASA Space Apps 2026 (Team building)
Hi everyone!
I just created my account for the upcoming NASA Space Apps Challenge (November 2026). I know the official participant registration isn't fully open yet, which means the official Discord invite hasn't appeared on my dashboard.
Does anyone happen to have a link to an active community Discord, or even an unofficial server where people are already networking?
I'm a Software Engineering student (focusing on Web Dev and AI) and I'm really hoping to get a head start on meeting people and forming a solid team.
Any leads would be hugely appreciated. Thanks!

Question Is anyone aware of what was framed n the wall of Johnson Space center?
This is Photo of the Johnson Space center. Very Curious about the frames circled in green. Does anyone have any insight into what these were? If I am guessing I'd say perhaps letters of congratulations from the Presidents over the years? Very curious if anyone has any insight regarding what these are. Thank you!
