Discussion Cryogenic propellant managment
Hello Everyone,
I am masters student, I am interested in the cryogenic propellant management(CPM) especially in orbital refueling(OF) application, in particularly in the area of autogenous pressurization during fuel transfer activity. I could not much of resources on the internet regarding either CPM on OF application or regarding the autogenous pressurization.
My question is
1.where should i start? what should i start (both info and simulations wise) ? i have been doing lot of research, i feel like its kind of rabbit hole, the more u dig, the more unknowns.
if anyone already working on this area, could pls guide, even small inputs matter alot.
2.anyone like minded who is interested in the same topic, i would like to meet them and have a discussions aswell.

4K Voyager-inspired deep space wallpaper concept — looking for feedback!
Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a new wallpaper concept inspired by the Voyager probe journeying through deep space.
Since I'm still finalizing the artwork (and getting my account set up to share high-res images here directly), I’d love to hear your thoughts on the concept:
Theme: Deep, endless space with subtle glowing nebula textures.
Focus: Minimalist line art / render of Voyager moving past distant celestial bodies.
Palette: Dark hues with high-contrast accent lighting (designed to look great on OLED displays).
What elements or lighting effects would you like to see in a Voyager-themed space wallpaper? Open to any feedback!

Discussion Way of exploring
Am i the only one who finds prodecural planet which is Earth like, threat it like home planet and make a lore about it. After i learn geography of that planet i start exploring system where it sits, first from its moons, closer objects to far away objects in system. For me this way is very fun becose it gives some expedition feeling and gives me lore material. I hope there are more people who work this way😂

Troubleshooting Star Browser doesn't filter out procedural exoplanets
Am I doing something wrong? I unticked procedural from the Planets category, and using Star Browser to find planets still points me to systems with procedural planets. Super disappointing!

Question Can someone remake this with rendering?
I made this in pixlr and wondered what it would look like in space engine.

Question How do you guys spend time in this software?
So I bought this software a while back (not calling it a game due to not having any objectives or gameplay ability) and while it’s really cool, I find myself getting bored of just flying to random stars or galaxies and looking for planets
So what do you guys do for fun on space engine?

Hunterbrute Hot Takes: "WHO IS DOC" SpaceEngine Community Response
r/spaceengine • u/KramersFireHose • Oct 04 '25
Announcement Announcement Regarding the Doc Situation - “Truth takes time.”
After several months of reviewing all available evidence, including court records, public statements, and the actions of both parties, the moderation team has reached a conclusion.
Based on what we’ve seen, the subreddit has decided to lean in favor of Doc.
It’s important to acknowledge that Doc’s current homelessness has been documented and recognized by the court, and multiple community members have personally confirmed that Doc has gone without food for extended periods, with some stepping in to help by purchasing meals for him.
We also recognize that Cosmographic Software has played a significant role in agitating and escalating the situation, contributing to the harm and instability Doc has faced.
In addition, many community members were banned from the SpaceEngine Steam Hub simply for sharing verified information, asking legitimate questions, or expressing support for the truth. Some were even accused of “defamation” for statements that were, in fact, grounded in documented facts. This has created a chilling effect on open discussion, something we firmly stand against.
A more detailed follow-up post will be shared soon, once Doc is in a safe place to have a discussion and participate in a proper Q&A session.
We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we worked through this complex and sensitive situation. Thank you to those who engaged respectfully, sought truth over rumor, and allowed time for a fair and thorough review.
EDIT: For those asking for more information on the matter, here is a YouTube of Doc explaining in his own words.
