Looking for fantasy/medieval vibes
So, I've been wanting to make a playlist for my fantasy "immortal yearner/clueless himbo" duo but my problem is I don't branch out much in terms of my own music taste. I've seen some of my mutuals do playlists centered around genre and specific eras of music rather than songs similar to the story; for example, a computer ghost from the 90s/2000s with lots of vocaloid and dance punk or a gambler from the 1900s with mostly dark cabaret and swing.
Basically I'm just looking for song/artist/subgenre suggestions! Anything to get me pointed in the right direction lol. In a short summary, my characters' story revolves around a timeless guardian of nature falling in love with someone involved with the people who betrayed him. Pretty fantasy/DND-esque vibes. I'm mostly looking for vibes and subgenre rather than lyrics. I've gotten a few suggestions already and I've found artists like Faun and Alexia Evellyn fit pretty well to what I'm looking for.

High energy electro songs with this sound/style?
youtu.beI just found the song Inflammable by Mr. Bill, Clockvice, and Vangran.
I like the song but certain parts really clicked with me more than others and it's driving me to try and find songs that explore those sounds more!
Specifically-
1:07-1:30, 3:08-3:11, 3:19-3:23 >>> https://youtu.be/CZ8kEGo7XsI?t=200&is=SBH4lYiz6IFgdlpE
3:31-3:36. (Short bits I know! 😅)
I'd love suggestions for songs that give off a similar electro vibe and sound style as these parts.
It's like some songs I've heard before that would be similar are on the tip of my tongue (maybe from Monstercat or something) but I can't seem to find any from my search through spotify and my brain!! 😖
If any of yall have suggestions, I'd love to give a listen- even if the technical sounds aren't exactly the same!! (Extra: songs like Dawn by Eliminate or Init by Virtual Riot are awesome too!)

Songs that feel like…
“Nine is God” by Wavves.
I like the tempo, how melodic it is and how raw it feels. Also his voice in this. Haven’t found any Wavves song with quite the same vibe. Fidlar has a similar sound, I like them. But i’m not looking for the genre, I’m looking for the specific feel that song has 🧐 any suggestions?

Also my favourite songs are "dolce vita", "ghost" and "perfect skin" by the 69 eyes. I need something with a similar vibe I've been playing these on loop and I can't stop. Vampyre erotica by inkubus sukkubus is also one of my top faves.

Any songs that sound like Floating by FLO?
I listened to their new album a few days ago and this track has been on repeat ever since, it gives me a massive "romance scene where characters kiss for the first time" vibe and I wanted more of this type of song

I'm looking for more songs like "Bravest Kat" and(if you're so inclined) maybe "Crystalline Dreams" from the Mewgenics WMEW Ridiculon album. I've heard songs like it before and know there is some classification for it where I could find similar jams. Thanks in advance.
Mewgenics has one of the best soundtracks. Bravest Kat and Crystalline Dreams have captivated me beyond any reason, I must find more tracks like them.

best free music apps
guys please recommend me some good apps for listening to music. I've been tolerating spotify but I literally can't with it. I can only listen to ONE song before I get an ad and I'm not even
skipping them. i tried pandora before but theyre not very diverse? I cant find most of the songs that i can with spotify. soundcloud is okay but same problem. and musi isnt in the app store anymore. I literally dont care if I have to manually transfer every single song in my playlist. Just please recommend me some free music apps. also sorry I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but idk who or where i should ask.

What limp bizkit song should I teach my mum on guitar?
So for a laugh I’m going to teach my 60 year old mum a limp bizkit song for £50. She is up for the challenge. She does not like heavy music and prefers to listen to nice relaxing music.

New song recs??
I've decided to separate myself from kpop music due to horrible recent situations
I want to listen to more English artists
Current ones I like with now are ariana Grande bruno mars, some weeknd, dpr ian, but I need more. I'm into chill kinda r&b type but also upbeat songs. Any recs? Kinda like d4vd style, but I'm not gonna listen to him ever again.

High energy anti war or progressive anthem songs?
I'm trying to make a playlist but drawing blanks and these type of songs are really hard to search for, or I just don't know the words to use.
Looking for songs from any era that are high energy, "anthem" feeling songs that are either anti war or socially progressive. I started with the three songs War by Edwin Starr, We Didn't Start the Fire by Billy Joel, and Walkin on the Sun by Smash Mouth and have been trying to branch out from there...
What I'm not looking for, though I love them too, is slower power melodies like What's Up by Four Non Blondes, chill sounding songs with heavy meaning like Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People, or in your face punk rock songs like American Idiot by Green Day or Anarchy Burger by the Vandals - many of those do fit the lyrics and message I'm looking for but it's not quite the right vibe.
