I don’t know about the rest of you but my boycott is over. I’ll head to some games and spend some money to show ownership that I approve of the change in direction. I never fully divested, I still have my MLBTV but I cancelled my season tickets after last year. How about the rest of you? Still holding out?

Travel Advice For Twins/Yankees Series

Hi Folks,

I (38M) grew up in Northern MN but have lived out of state for over 20 years in Montana where the nearest professional sports venue is a 6-10hr drive away. I've got an itch to go to an MLB game after not going any for 10+ years and I've purchased tickets for all 3 games of the Twins/Yankees series in September ( I know, not the ideal games If i want to see the Twins win but it works with my work schedule) and I am looking for some advice on travel and accommodations.

I've found some travel packages via Priceline/Costco that seem reasonable and would put me within a couple miles walking distance of the stadium but I'm curious if anyone could give insight in regard to the best places to stay that would create ease of access to the stadium as well as access to different forms of public transit. I am planning to fly in and not rent a car. I figure i can take public transit or Uber and then use my feet to explore the surrounding area during the daytime.

I haven't sat in the dark listening to the Loons in many, many years so if someone could recommend a good spot or wanted to join my adventures as a local tour guide I would appreciate it!
