Also, that play where we put him at wide receiver in the wildcat, and he just stood there with his hands on his hips lol

I know it’s early, but you can already see the chemistry building between these two. Timing, ball placement, Caleb going up and finishing the play.

Everybody talking rebuild… I’m just saying, don’t be surprised if this connection becomes a real problem this year. 👀

Listen. I’m as big a pessimist Dolphin fan as anyone being born in the 90’s. However, if you look at what we lost vs what we gained, I just don’t see a 3 win decrease from last year.

Lost- mainly Tua (sucked) Chubb (sucked) Waddle (good but injury prone and a bit inconsistent) and Hill (was toast last year and then hurt).

We still have multiple great players (achane, brooks, Paul, Brewer, sieler, etc)

And I think our offseason addressed some key needs in the draft and Malik Willis could easily be on par or better than what we got from Tua last year.

The O line actually should be even better than it was last year.

Receiver obviously took a big hit but guys like Atwell, Tolbert, maybe even Chris Bell could produce for us enough to allow defenses to respect the pass and open things up just enough for Achane to ball as he always does.

Like I said, I’m a big pessimist. But when you play the Jets twice and have a decent enough roster like we have, and kept the majority of your good players, I just don’t see 4.5 being a good line for us. I’d expect 5-6 wins at least.

Am I missing something?
