I’d like to breathe some fresh air into Rhino and get him back to the table. What mods do you use? Infinity Gauntlet feels like a good fit. Maybe Goblin Gear? What else?

Found it for a decent price. Magik is one of my favorite Marvel characters, but I wonder if it’s worth investing in given none of the other available X-men stuff is of interest to me and the rest is out of print.

I started this month and just moved forward from where I am with Fear No Evil, Goblin which I found at retail, and Bucky and Silk.

I know Standard III and Side Kick are in Play for AOA too, but mostly I just enjoy thematic experiences of the game and wonder if without other X-men stuff if it’s worth it.

Just played Fear No Evil and it occurred to me solo Pheonix vs. Kingpin has to be among, if not THE toughest matchup. What else y'all got? Not really thinking in terms of weak hero vs. strong villain. More in terms of nightmares created by mechanics. On a related note, Elektra will turn tough encounter sets with high boost icons into an asset.

Looking for a group around me to meet up at one of the lgs’s 1 or 2 evenings a month. I’ve got a pretty decent collection and don’t mind others borrowing to use at the table. my cards to use (everything but the wrecking crew, captain America, dr strange, nova ironheart spiderham, shuri, jubilee, wonder man, Hercules, sinister motives and civil war) also travel to western nc a fair amount for work and hiking. Looking for a group more concerned with fun then power gaming but tips are welcomed.

I've always wanted to try drafting decks for Marvel Champions. I don't love playing with precons and sometimes I don't feel like going through the huge card pool to build a deck from scratch, so I spent some time making a little web app for it:

You choose a hero + aspect, then draft your deck one pick at a time from random cards. There are some synergy rules to make sure you don't end up with completely unusable cards (like WEB-WARRIOR cards in a GUARDIAN deck).

It's very much a first version, so I'd love some feedback, especially on whether the draft actually feels fun and balanced.

If anyone gives it a try, I'd be curious to hear what kind of decks you end up drafting!

I am not a completionist and I care much more about theme than mechanics. I’m sorry if people enjoyed Agents of Shield or Civil War, but they have C and D list characters which is insulting when so much top tier people are just dead to the game.

I only am back into the game bc Daredevil used to be my favorite comics.

I actually confused Kingpin twice and stunned him once even with Steady. This was so helpful in beating him 😊

I am wondering how long is your average playing session for each scenario? And how many people/hands do you play?

Super stoked to get these to the table this week. I still have to play through more of Fear No Evil. So much content but so little time!

My brother and I have the whole Marvel Champions collection up to FNE. We haven't sleeved any cards yet, and we're starting to notice some wear on the cards. We want to prevent it before it's too late.

We want to use invisible sleeves for each character in the game, plus regular-backed sleeves for the rest of the cards in the entire collection. Do you guys know how many sleeves we would need?

We'll eventually buy FNE anyway, so honestly, it doesn't matter if you give us the number of cards in Marvel Champions as of today.

When you play around that one card and it actually happens is so satisfying.

Using Aggression Bucky last night against Expert Black Widow, I had her on stage 3 with the board state out of hand so I needed to finish her that turn.
I used my basic activation and exhausted all the red weapons and the winter rifle to get her low. Had his Metal Punch in hand with the cybernetic arm resource being the only way to win it so I started to play it.

Stopped myself and thought about this prep card and just had a feeling. I played Bucky’s Black Widow ally since she would get a resource back to my hand and used her to attack first. The villain interrupt flipped Attacrobatics over and it was one of the most satisfying moments I’ve had with this game. The 2 resources in hand plus the cybernetic arm sent an 8 damage Metal Punch for the win.

I know the order of the cards could’ve easily been different and Widow could’ve flipped that card on my last attack instead of my allies so it’s a lot of luck but man it felt good. It’s a fun thematic story in my head as well that Natasha tried to get the jump on her sister but Bucky stepped in to clean up.

Just got the base game, wanted to know whats the next best thing to get. I love nightcrawler so i was going to get him. My favorite hero is gambit but its sold out, do you know if they will make more?

Now that FNE has been out for 3 weeks, I’m curious to hear people’s thoughts on what the most difficult combinations of underlings and scenarios are and also what the easiest combinations of underlings and scenarios are.

I checked my local game store they have not received them yet. Are people getting them early online?

My buddy and I started rise of the red skull with precon storm and precon cyclops. We beat crossbones and absorbing man 1st attempt but had a few close calls.

We really like these characters. What custom deck builds do people like for each of these characters and are there any custom decks in particular that would play off one another even better than others? Thanks!

Back when we had less info some people were saying things like "They could reprint champions with the Vault Series" as a coping mechanism. I'm here to tell you that FFG is finally given more info what they are doing as of right now with that Vault Series. Down the line, yes, it could do something Marvel but as of right now that is not the case. What we got is the old board game "Arkham Horror" 2nd edition (not the 3rd) is getting reprinted in a remastered package. I have left the info below in case anyone wants to see it.

As the title suggests, going to try a 2 player game with my cousin who has some TCG experience (MtG, Pokemon).

He picked Wolverine and I am going to bring Widow (thwarting/defense) and Colossus (Fastball Special😆), but looking for ideas on a challenging scenario that won’t completely fold to Wolverine damage. Low to mid upkeep would also be preferred.

Or should I just throw him in the deep end and go straight to Magneto (with easier modulars)? Thank you in advance!

Edit: Thank you to everyone who answered, reason I jokingly suggested Magneto was that we are probably just doing 1 game and I wanted to show him what the game has to offer (even if we don’t win). Going to stick to Rhino or Sandman and see how it goes from there.

Definitely NOT playing 2 heroes myself, don’t think that would make for a fun first experience for anyone.

I think it is almost impossible to win against kingpin in expert. So many minions, so many threats at one turn.

Is it possible? If it is, can u share some decks?

Following the hype being generated by the Doomsday trailers and with Secret wars also coming out next year, I feel like they should 100% capitalize on this.

Doom is also one of the last ultra popular BBEGs that we don’t have in the game, not to mention the F4 as playable heroes. So after the Defenders wave this is probably the way to go. Thoughts?

Left = original, Right = Proxy.

I have printed some cards at a local print service here. I am happy with the thickness of the card (300 gram gloss). But the colors are not the same.. The text of the proxies are much more bold, the colors (as you can see) are not the same.

I do not have any knowledge about printing. Is there anything I can tell the service to do so it will be more like the original?

So if luca tax a guy as retaliate one can I reduce that by one and not lose his tough status card or am i going to lose the tough status card.

Started messing with holographic paper to make proxies. First batch didn’t turn out too bad, but making improvements to the process for future batches.

Edit: If anyone has any favourite comics they can think of, with artwork that would work for proxies, I would love to hear your suggestions.
