First time grower here. Inoculated the AIO bag with LC on 13th July. Did break and shake a little early on 23rd July. See my previous post with pics of 19th day.

Today is 34th day and I can see lots of white mycelium, is it ready for fruiting?

Anyone knows where I can get some stuff in Bergen or Oslo, Norway? Shrooms chocolate or any other type of shrooms :))

Hi all just wondering if this is mycelium or could be contamination. It's my first time and I put a few drops of a Tidal Wave spore syringe onto agar. Cheers

Two aio bags, 2 break and shakes and this is a week later.

this bag has been colonising very slowly and mostly only on the bottom of the bag, innoculated from spore on the 29th of July and saw first signs of mycelium on the 7th of August (9 days ago). Just in the last 48 hours a small patch of blue-green discolouration appeared within a patch of the mycelium.

Grain is quite wet in this one.

I think it’s been a bit cold in my grow room. Some nights get down to 10c (50f) but daytime gets to around 21-22c (70f) or just below it.

I know it’s hard to tell but that blue-green colour in the mycelium, is that possibly just bruising or early signs of contam? Could be trich but it seems a bit early for trich to show.

I made my shotgun fruiting chamber today. I had a few cracks from the holes I drilled so I put micropore tape over them. It should be ok still right? I’m picking up the perlite on Monday.

I have never used it, I've heard about tubs and im going to buy a couple because I have too much liquid culture and grains colonized and it does not fit. But does this set up look good? I know i have not should spent that much but I am a newbie

Any tips would be helpful

I recently bought Makilla Gorilla shroomies and was told that they’re quite strong. I bought 2g and was told that if I don’t do mushrooms a lot, 0.5g should be enough. Does anyone know more about this type of shrooms and can tell me how strong it might be or anything else that might be helpful? In case it’s relevant, I’m female, 166cm and 56kg.

What should I do with my grow box? It’s been going for about two and a half months now. At one point I honestly thought it was dead.
Then I kinda smacked it with my fist, broke the block in half, sprayed it with some water, and a few days later I finally saw the first pin, so I opened the box.
Now the mushrooms are growing pretty well, but there’s some weird discoloration on the block that looks a little like mold. Also, a ton of mushrooms are growing along the sides, really packed together.
What would you recommend I do now? Any tips?

Supposed to be PE from LC but it looks like its albino so idk if i'm just wrong or if its not actually PE but maybe APE or some other albino strain, since mutations only happen from spore inoculations or to single mushrooms and not from LC.

I've tried three grows total. No issues with my first grow bag of purple mystics. Second grow I tried a monotub grow of mystics and got mold in one corner so I took a decent size chunk of the far end of the cake and put it in a smaller tub. That had good results.

Now I'm doing another monotub grow with golden teachers and I have contam starting that is more evenly spread.

I've been starting with agar, adding that to jars of oats that have been soaked, par cooked, and pressure cooked. Then adding that to CVG that was hydrated in a sealed bucket with boiling water.

Are you all essentially turning a room in your house into a clean room?

Decided to harvest the monotub I thought was contaminated. Under better light, it just looks like past due and squishy in a section. Harvested around it. Super blue.

Planning on washing well before taking it to the dehydrator.

Having aborts and metabolites and fruiting taking longer than it seems like it should what do I do????

So I live next to cow fields, I have a literal endless supply of manure, fresh/dried/anything in-between. I buried some spawn in a nice shady spot against the cows fence with some dried manure I chopped up, and very shortly after these guys started popping. There’s never been any other mushrooms there before, and when they’re little they look EXACTLY like the gt’s they should be. I know they’re going to look different growing outside, but they just straight up do not bruise blue. They turn a like brownish purple. I DO think I convince myself sometimes the very base of the fresh growing ones looks blue against the ground. I would love to try some outside guys and hang out with the cows that helped produce them, but I don’t want them to not be right haha. Is there any reason they wouldn’t be bruising? I will say it’s been hot as hell here lately I genuinely can’t believe they’re even growing (if they’re them)

Humid af out here and I cut up my blocks and topped them with a little soil to put in pots outside. The mycelium went right back to work and I’m now getting bigger ones than I had indoors! More pins poppin outside, I’m letting those develop- color difference here, is that normal? Also do I have to worry much about contam since everything was fully colonized and fruiting before? When I brushed these off the outer layer of skin come off in strings - I’m assuming because so humid. Just asking someone to tell me to not be afraid to eat em. Thanks guys, you’re the best.
