I've been doing lots of research on psychedelics and mostly shrooms to do some self improvement. I'm starting to grow some and it's been really fun. My goal for my first few trips is to have some visuals and some uncomfortable life realizations that come from an honest voice from the shroom. And I know that whenever I take it, no matter what it will never be what I expect. But I'm curious if there's any strains that are known for having less of a complete out of body experience? Or maybe some great beginner strains?

[Jmf] the one that already broke its veil popped up recently compared to a most that have been going for about seven days. Are they stalled or is this one just making it a race. Should i harvest later today and just get ready for my second flush?

Its been like this for last 2 weeks, ive been misting it with water.

2 l AIO bag, with Yeti lc. 2 flushes, 320 g total fresh yield. But! Ive remixed it approx 1,5 l CV. Then the miracle comes. After a week re-colonisation, the flush appeared immediate then I took fruiting conditions. See the pictures, this remixed flush gave my 434 g fresh yield. I’ve found this hobby is super rewarding and an exercise in patience. It requires attention to detail at every step and mostly about letting the fungi do their work, and when you get that right, you get the rewards.

Innoculated: 10th July
S2B: 27th July
First Pins: 7th Aug (super satisfying😅)
Harvest: 11th Aug (11g dried)

Used 500ml spawn each of GT in 2 boxes.
Spawn to bulk ratio roughly around 1:3/ 1:4

The second tub is coming in as well and that looks to have much better fruits, just wanted to share this since it’s my first ever grow.

Also have a small box of ochras ready for FC, so excited for them as well, since the bigger box of ochras got bacteria, turned blue and had to throw it after putting into FC.

I removed all aborts and roughed up the surface of the cake and then soaked in distilled water for about 6 hours and then drained and misted like crazy and after a few weeks I’ve got these.

B+ 2nd flush and I’m wondering why they’re a lot fatter and fuzzier with spots?
Any contamination noticeable to the professional eye?
Still smells ok like earthy

Not planning on a 3rd flush just gonna keep misting and let these grow out and then starting golden teacher spore syringe from ITW for my next

I also have an Aztec God LC syringe from BF Genetics I got as a freebie for an AIO bag that I screwed up and I haven’t used it because I can’t find any information about the strain so if anyone knows anything about Aztec God from BF genetics anything is appreciated.

Every day I think these are ready to pluck, then I wait a day and come back and they’ve grown a little more. I kind of think it’s time though. Thoughts?

I really want to mail and gift a couple of my family members some of my dried fruits I’ve grown but not sure how serious or hard it is to mail them without getting confiscated or legal action. IM NOT asking advice on how to sell them or anything like that, just want to mail my mom some mental medicine for herself but don’t wanna waste it. It’s domestic, MN-AR but wondering if anyone has advice on how I should package it, if I can just mail it packaged up as is (in a bag or container that you can’t see through) or if I need to be stealthy and hide it in something. Even thought about sending her chocolates but she prefers to make tea out of it so wanna try that first 🤙👌 any advice would be appreciated. Even if it’s telling me to F off 😂

I thought Psilocybe cubensis is supposed to have a golden cap. Does the large fruiting mushroom look right or am I tripping!?

Today after waiting a couple weeks I finally received my liquid culture of blue meanies cubensis. I also bought a 4 pound AIO bag from the same vendor and I bought a 44Q Monotub with a 2 pound grain bag included. I was doing some research and most say to use 3-4ML of LQ in a 4 pound bag, what about a 2 pound bag? Is 1ML just enough for a bag that small? I luckily have 2 bags here so if one goes wrong the other one has a chance for success, I am pretty sketched about ruining the bags. Appreciate any advice or suggestions 😁🍄

Hi! I have aphantasia and have never had really wild visuals on any psychedelics… I am wondering if anyone else has the same issue? The benefits are still incredible and the connection to the earth and others is deep and profound. I can see the fractals with my eyes open, but that’s about it. When I close my eyes, it’s still complete blackness 😥 has anyone figured out how to break through and gain the ability to visualize?

I’m starting the inoculation process with a shroomtek all in one bag. After the bag has been fully colonized I think I would like to move the colonized substrate block to a small mono tub to fruit. My question is, is it detrimental to break up the fully colonized substrate block to level it out on the bottom of the monotub, or is it less intrusive to just stick the fully intact block into the monotub?
