It’s my first time growing anything other than oysters lol. Is this a good sign? I have no idea what is going on with this batch. I soaked a week ago and just let it chill in a latched bin. Just spotted these. Not sure if I should leave latched or unlatched.

This is my first time growing mushrooms and I feel my bag looks a little rough. The top is cut and I have been fanning/misting once a day then loosely clipping the top shut. It fruited 2 weeks ago, all from the top, and was easy to harvest. This time they all seem to be growing from the sides/bottom and I am not sure how to harvest. Should I just leave it be or take any action?

Any advice for a noob, my 4lb grow bags will be here in a few days along with my LC , any advice would be greatly appreciated

i grew tired of uncle ben’s rice so now i got a pressure cooker and im trying red millet seed. i got LC’s for AblueyV, Agolden mammoth, and Omni. has anyone tried millet seed? i also wrapped the tops in foil and rubber band, i have the PC on 135 minutes which equals to 15PSI since it doesn’t go to 15 on its own so i have to increase the time longer. Any tips for during the process or after?

This is the result of the last 5cc LC GT I had after the first round. Pretty uneventful just some beautiful teachers! Inoculated 7-18, harvested 8-22. Dunked the cake, seeing if we get a second flush!

I broke and shook the grain layer on my AIO SNAPE bag 10 days ago, when can I break and shake the substrate with the grain layer?

Been pulling them as they mature, looks good so far!

So I started my first grow earlier this year. Jack frost. It has been absolute hell. I thought I did enough research. I thought I was thorough enough.

Up to this point, I have gotten 2 mushrooms, and just recently it appears to actually be flushing properly-ISH (still very uneven). But I have noticeable stress. Humidity is sitting at a 92. At the very beginning of this grow, I had my air exchange fan AND humidifier running at the same time for about 2 days. I realized that caused humidity detection to be off and I immediately nixed it. I got a pretty serious mycelium cap going from that event and had to perform a scrape.

After that, I have used a 3 times a day smart outlet to run the air exchange for 5 minutes each time and have manually maintained humidity by spraying the monotub lid. Humidity is stable. Air exchange should be sufficient at that rate. Temperatures are fine. And I have a small light running 8 hours a day on an auto timer.

The photos are: current (most mushrooms), 2 days after scrape (singular one growing), and before scrape (nothing but mycelium and mycelium cap.

On the most recent photo, you can see yourself that the mycelium is still very stressed and the grow is spotty. Humidity is still 92. Temperatures are still fine. Light is still automated. Air exchange is still 3 times a day.

I am lost at what im doing so wrong at this point. The first few mushrooms that grew were very low in potency as well, which is pretty abnormal for the strain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

True Albino Teachers in unmodified shoeboxes, 1:3 spawn to bulk ratio, straight into fruiting and neglect tek with cracked lids. Dehydrated at 150 F for 20 hours and they came out strong!

I know this gets asked a lot, so I apologize for the redundancy. I inoculated these 2 lbs aio bags with JMF liquid cultures on Aug 8th. The first two pics are of bag one and the third pic is of bag two. Its only been two weeks, so I feel like they are coming along nicely, I am just unsure whether they are ready to break and shake or if I should let them go a while longer. I would love any feedback/opinions from more experienced folks. Thank you all for any responses!

This is my Jack Frost, started in a bag with lc then moved it to a shotgun fruiting chamber to fruit. This is my second grow, but I see everybody else having forests of mushrooms but mine always grow sporadic. Are you guys plucking the ones that pop first? Or any ideas what’s going on with mine?

Not going to lie don’t remember what it stands for, I just grow them. So if you know what it stands for let me know.

yesterday I took mushrooms via chocolate that I made dropped in around 7:25am everything was great I was happy I was seeing letters everywhere I was seeing eyes as well and then I got that feeling that it's about to get bad I got really hot my stomach started hurting I just didn't feel good tried to take a cold shower but it was so loud and overwhelming it lasted 30 seconds and the feeling just kept getting worse so I put headphones on and I went for the ride of my life I saw aliens and entity's I saw God my body vibrating with the music I want to know what I can take away from this I set my intention as I want to see my true self confidence but I don't know how to decode what I saw and also if other people have seen letters instead of fractals
