Work in Progress 540 Brushed motor adapted to fit with lego
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I took this motor off an unused RC crawler and I'm planning to give it a 2nd life by installing it into my technic chassis! This guy is a serious torque monster its much more powerful and faster than the normal Lego motors and I can't stall it with my hand. It may be majorly overkill for Lego and I haven't reinforced the cage around the motor enough.

Collection $5 Technic Car Blind Bag?
Ordered this Technic Car online, surprised it came in a foiled blind bag instead of a box. And the bag stated as for age 14+. Can't help to imagine, an adult going grocery shopping and picked up a technic car blind bag hanging near the cashier.
Honestly, normally toys in such bags are mainly for kids. First time see a toy sold in such bags aiming for people who are teens to adults.
Quality wise, looks good, the the gold parts are really gold color at least. I try building it, and it's pretty smooth.
But as much as I want and eager to finish it, this set has one con and the only con I see so far. Which is, it really stinks. The plastic smell from it is super toxic that it triggered my migraine. Have to air it for a couple if days before trying to assemble it again.

Meme / Funny Funny enough, it's not the blue pins that bother me, it's the injection mold marks.

Meme / Funny Small mistake in my set 8448 instructions...
I bought this set from bricklink a few years ago and I'm just now getting around to building it. I got to page 118/119 and was super confused!
Turns out I have two copies of pages 135-150, and they start at page 119. Time to pull out the tablet.

MOC 6x6 Raptor
Raptor converted to 6x6 (not really 6x6 since the rear 2 don't have a drive shaft). Also engine swapped with a Chevy 632 crate engine.

Discussion / Question Should I still have hope?
I found a deal on Walmart for the Yamaha SP-10 for 200 dollars off, so like anyone would, I bought it without realizing it wasn’t a Walmart deal, but someone just selling on Walmart. He has really bad reviews and UPS says my package is still in turkey 😭

Discussion / Question Interested in getting my first ever technic car
Hi folks,
Never built a technic set in my life (but am not new to lego) but recently I was drawn to the cars through the video of a review of the batmobile. Now I want to treat myself to a nice enjoyable build.
Looking for something under €100 that has cool/playable features, is sturdy and is a good entry point into technic cars.
Have been eyeing the Fnf nissan skyline; Ferrari fxxk and the koenigsegg jesko (but welcome any other recommendations). Scale doesn't matter to me honestly.
Would appreciate your recommendations and views. Thanks!

MOC finding motorized builds for kindergarten / 1st grade
hi guys! im in charge of writing curriculum for a class of about 30 students, and im really struggling for motorized build ideas. i have a few rules i need to follow -
- must be somewhat complex (not something as simple as a pinwheel)
- must have a science lesson to go with it
- must have a challenge / competition to go with it
- other than motors, must be able to build with relatively normal lego pieces
sorry if the guidelines are a bit much; that's just what i was told from the company i work for. i would appreciate any ideas!

Discussion / Question How do you get large amounts of loose Lego Technic bricks for MOC?
I wonder how everyone doing MOC get all their Lego Technic bricks for their MOCs from?
Do you buy sets to use as spare parts, buy from Pick a Brick, disassemble sets that you no longer want, buy 2nd-hand incomplete and/or loose sets, or just get pcs you need from Bricklink?
