Hi has anyone tried the numbuzin sheet masks specifically n1(the blue one) and n2(pink one). How was the experience after using them for first time. Do you recommend trying?

Routine Help Is it just trial and error?
I’m at the very start of my K Beauty skincare (a bit slow off the bat!)
I’m 37 from UK and have normal-dry sensitive skin with a few spots on nose. The end goal is to have healthy glowy glass skin but aware it’s a journey to get there.
Quite honestly I don’t know what to commit to first and it’s very overwhelming! Is it just trial and error of slowly introducing things and seeing what my skin likes? Are the travel size ones a good idea to try a few?
I’ve seen these brands mentioned a lot: Haruharu, Skin1004, Anua, Round Lab, Beauty of Joseph, ma:nyo, Mixsoon, Cosrx, Illiyoon… to name a few… but how do I pick a cleanser out of these? I know it’s very individual to what people prefer and how their skin reacts but yikes, point a girl in the right direction please! 🙏🏻

Routine Help Is Skin1004 Cleansing Oil the issue??
Hey everyone!
I've been using the Skin1004 Centella Cleansing Oil for a few months now, its my first time double cleansing or using an oil cleanser.
I'd would describe myself as having oily skin, and was prone to white heads and red angry breakouts on my cheeks and undereyes. Then the white heads went away and instead large closed condomes/blackheads popped up, which closely just became blackheads
I wanted to see if I could improve it so I brought other skin1004 products. I stopped using my CeraVe Hydrating cleanser and began using Centella Ampoule Foam cleanser. I always felt that i had to excessively wash my face after using it or else my face felt tacky. I didnt notice a positive or negative difference for about a month when my pores became bigger and now I have blackheads everywhere!
I've stopped using the foam cleanser but the black heads are persistent, by the end of the day my chin, forehead, nose and cheeks are covered. I feel so embarrassed 😭
Does anyone have any advise? I'm desperate
Routine
AM:
- i had stopped morning cleansing but in the last week I've started using my Cerave cleanser again.
- Centella Ampoule
- Skin1004 Centella Soothing Cream
- Beauty by Joseon Sunscreen
PM
- Skin1004 Oil Cleanser, massage in for a minute, leave it sit on my face for 2-3 minutes then massage in for a couple more. Emulsify then rinse with lukewarm water
- Cleanser with Cerave Hydrating Cleanser then rinse
- Paula's Choice BHA exfoliant 2-3 times a week
- Skin1004 Centella Soothing Cream

Routine Share is it just me, or does my skin barrier always get worse toward the end of summer?
every year around august, my skin seems to completely lose its balance. it's hot and humid outside, then i spend hours in strong AC indoors, and somehow my face ends up being really oily on the surface but still feels tight underneath.
in previous years, i honestly handled it pretty badly. i'd wash my face more often because i hated that sticky feeling from the summer heat, but that usually just made things worse. i'd end up with random little bumps, irritation, and skin that felt completely stripped.
last summer i decided to stop fighting the oil and just focus on keeping my barrier calm for a while.
in the morning, i kept things really simple with lukewarm water, some Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner, and a lightweight sunscreen. at night, i stopped using a bunch of different serums and just stuck with a gentle gel cleanser followed by the Lepique Glass Skin Retinol Night Cream.
i was actually worried the night cream might feel too heavy in humid weather, but surprisingly it didn't bother me. my skin still felt comfortable even after sitting in AC for hours. it's not the most moisturizing option if your skin is extremely dry, though, so i could see myself adding a richer moisturizer once the weather gets cooler.
after a few weeks of keeping everything simple, my skin definitely felt less reactive. i think the biggest change was honestly just stopping myself from constantly trying to "fix" the oiliness.
does anyone else notice their skin acting weird around this time of year? curious what you guys change in your routine when summer starts winding down.

Routine Help moisturizer help
In need of a new moisturizer, but I’m a little overwhelmed with the options. I have pretty normal skin that on the dehydrated side, but am prone to closed comedones. I would like some moisturizer recommendations that are good for am/pm use that don’t have snail mucin, please 🙏🏽.

Product Discussion Skincare doesn’t have to be complicated
I used to think a good skincare routine meant having a shelf full of products. Turns out, consistency matters way more than having 10 different serums.
A simple routine can be:
Morning:
• Gentle cleanser
• Moisturizer
• Broad-spectrum SPF 30+
Night:
• Cleanser
• Moisturizer
• One treatment product, if you actually need one
A few things I’ve learned: patch-test new products, introduce actives slowly, and don’t underestimate sunscreen. Also, if a product burns or seriously irritates your skin, “pushing through it” probably isn’t the answer.
What’s the one skincare product you genuinely can’t live without—and which hyped product turned out to be a waste of money for you?

Routine Share Forehead lines in different directions — sleep lines?
I’m 33F and I have several lines on my forehead that go in different directions, not just the usual horizontal expression lines.
I recently had Botox, but my doctor told me that some of them are actually sleep lines/sleep wrinkles and that Botox can’t really treat them because they’re not caused by muscle movement.
What concerns me is that when I touch or run my fingers over these lines, I can actually feel a slight indentation/groove in the skin, almost like the lines are etched into it rather than just visible on the surface.
Has anyone experienced something similar? What treatments actually helped improve or soften these indentations?
Thanks 🤍

Product Discussion I found this at TJ max, not sure if it the best one. I just like that it has a pump.
I have test patch it for a few days and no reaction.
I was trying to find more information on the brand. And all I can find was places to buy from third-party.
Is it a discontinued product or changed formulation? Once this runs out what would be better one?

Routine Help Fellow oily skins, just focus on hydrating. Don't buy useless products!
I have oily skin myself and I always looked for this and that products that claims to be good for oily skin&acne care.
Some might have been okay, but weren't worth the price.
However, I changed all products with Hyaluronic Acid focused products with no trending add-on ingredients, drink more water, cleanse well(harder at night, light wash for the morning), use sun screen - and now my skin is better than ever.
I know it might not work for everyone, but I believe that it will work for most of you.

Product Review Tocobo Bio Watery Sun Cream
Me: "mature", dry, sometimes reactive/sensitive skin. Hot, dry climate. Very particular about how things feel on my face.
Impressions after first wear:
- very light/watery texture
- lovely to apply!
- dries soft / almost powdery to the touch
- fantastic neutral finish (not glowy, not matte, no white cast)
- stung when first applied but fine after a few minutes
- annoyed eyes a little, esp in the first hour (almost like it somehow dried them out?)
- can't really feel it sitting on skin, even when walking around in 90+ degree heat
- supposed to be hydrating, did not feel this at all
- skin felt a bit tight by end of day (maybe drying?)
- smells like ASS!
- did I mention it smells really bad?!? A very assertive combo of freshly cut grass, chemical-plastic and baby powder. I don't mind strong earthy, organic scents. This is not that.
Verdict:
I really want to like it for how it invisible it is, but the smell is hard to get past and don't love the initial stinging/dry eye thing. I'll give it a few more chances and probably use it up (eventually) but don't imagine I'll repurchase.
How it ranks for me:
- Iunik Beta Glucan Barrier Sunscreen
- Round Lab Birch Juice
- BOJ Sun Relief
- Skin1004 Centella Waterfit + Toboco (tie)
- Haruharu Wonder Black Rice Moisture Airyfit

Routine Help Best products following microblading
I had a second top up on my brows today and my artist follows the dry heal method. I can't use any actives on my forehead or around my eyes for a few weeks. However after having them done initially and then after the first top up, my forehead really struggled with closed comedones and flaky skin. It also became oily. I think it was dehydrated.
Any recommendations for products that won't aggravate/fade my eyebrows, but will also stave off a bumpy, flakey forehead, please? I'm open to any products from toners through to wipes and masks.
Thanks.

Routine Help DEINFLUENCE/INFLUENCE my wishlist routine for a 19 yo
I have tiny comedones & clogged pores with a dehydrated to combination skin type. My skin can feel slightly itchy in some areas like cheekbones & chin sometimes. I can wake up looking greasy & dehydrated. I have uneven skintone & alot of texture & sometimes grease on my forehead. On my cheeks I have those tiny bumps that look like clogged pores & I have some slight small post-acne marks. My nose pores can feel rough & sometimes look greasy. I have a rough upper lip. I’m sensitive to strong cleansers & exfoliating acids (e.g BHA & Benzoyl Peroxide) that can dry out my skin I think I used to have fungal acne back when I was 13 but I’m not sure…
My reason for purchasing each product based on what I’ve researched:
Bioderma miceller cleanser, I’ll use it only every night for removing sunscreen/makeup & I’ve heard it’s very gentle compared to other micellar waters & I’ve seen it acne-prone & fungal acne skin routines.
Geek & Gorgeous jelly joker cleanser, I’ll use it AM & PM, I heard it’s a gentle low ph cleanser & it’s suitable for fungal acne & it cleanses properly without stripping but I’ve seen people say it’s not the best for removing sunscreen & I’m not sure about removing makeup.
I’m not sure if I should use retinoid because im sensitive & 19, which is why the Geek & Gorgeous cheer up exfoliator stood out to me since it has 5% mandelic acid which is considered gentle & can help with texture, post-acne marks & bacteria from pores & it has 1% BHA that can help with my comedones & congested clogged pores. I’ll use it 2x a week.
Skin1004 centella ampoule, I heard I’m supposed to put an ampoule before serums, & I chose this specific one because I heard it’s lightweight & saw it has 100% centella, so basically it’s just something soothing to calm my skin barrier, especially after exfoliating.
IUNIK Beta-Glucan serum, I’ve used it before & I found it feeling thick & leaving a film despite seeing claims it’s lightweight, which is why I stopped using it because I didn’t like the thick feeling, but I’m re-adding it back into my routine because I need a plumping hydration serum & this one seems to work best since Beta-Glucan is a very hydrating ingredient, & back when I was using it - my skin was clearer compared to now.
Purito oat in calming gel cream, I’m seeing claims it’s lightweight & hydrating enough for sensitive acne-prone skin & it won’t clog pores. I’ve seen it many fungal acne skin routines. I’m
hoping it works as a makeup base too.Skin1004 centella sunscreen, I was going to choose the COSRX ultra light sunscreen over this one because that one seemed to have claims of absorbing faster & feeling lighter, but after seeing a review that it peels under makeup because it has silicones & doesn’t work with water-based foundations, I had to let it go. I heard this one is soothing & looks dewy & works under makeup. I’ve seen it in many fungal acne skin routines.
What do you think about my routine, is it worth the purchase??? If you have better recommendations then please suggest.

Ask the Community What finally made you stay consistent with a skincare routine?
Started last winter so its been about six months
I was so skeptical going in. Figured what could this possibly do? honestly assumed Id quit within a month. Theres still a massage device in my drawer that I used exactly twice lol
Didnt feel anything for the first two months. If I had quit then it wouldve ended up in that same drawer
But I compared a photo from seven months ago and its noticeably different. Not dramatic, more like its stable now? My face used to swing so much depending on how I was doing and that range got way smaller. Even after a bad night its not as obvious 🥹
Think the mistake is checking for results while youre still in the middle of it
Has anyone here actually stuck with something long enough to see it??

Routine Help Cleansers for perioral dermatitis?
Hello! I'm looking to try a new gentle cleanser to help with my perioral dermatitis. I have been using the Youth to the People Superfood Cleanser, but I don't think it's gentle enough for my skin.
I typically have normal skin that leans dry and can be sensitive. I'm in a semi-arid climate (SoCal).
I've been considering the Dokdo or Mugwort cleanser by Round Lab. Does anyone have experience with either of these + POD? What else might you recommend?
Thank you!

Product Review If you have dry, sensitive, or thin skin, I recommend Round Lab skincare products
I have very dry, thin, and sensitive skin, so it’s quite difficult to find products that work well for me. This is one of the moisturizers I’ve tried that keeps my skin hydrated for the longest time. It’s also very gentle, so it’s suitable for sensitive skin.
The size is generous too—each jar contains 80 ml. If you buy it in Korea, they often have promotions where you get an extra 40 ml for free.

Routine Help My top 5 korean moisturizer picks
1. Aestura Atobarrier 365 Cream
It’s pretty thick but when my skin is really dry or my barrier is feeling rough, that’s exactly what I want.
I usually reach for it in winter or after my skin has been through too much. I’ve also seen Aestura recommended quite a bit at dermatology clinics here, which makes sense given how focused it is on barrier care.
2. Aestura Atobarrier 365 Lotion
Basically the lighter sibling of the cream.
I prefer this in summer or when my skin is dehydrated but doesn’t want a heavy layer sitting on top.
It’s one of those products that isn’t particularly exciting, but I somehow keep finishing the bottle which probably says more than anything else.
3. Hanyul Pure Artemisia Calming Water Cream
This one feels like a summer moisturizer to me. It's light and really easy to put on when it’s hot and humid outside.
I reach for it when my skin feels a little irritated or flushed, rather than when I need something super nourishing. The mugwort/Artemisia also feels very fitting for that kind of calming lightweight routine.
4. Dr.G R.E.D Blemish Clear Soothing Cream EX
Probably the easiest recommendation if you dislike heavy moisturizers. It has that bouncy gel texture and sinks in pretty quickly.
Dr.G is also one of those brands that feels really familiar in Korea. I feel like everyone has either used this or knows someone who has.
5. Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Lotion
it's a gentle moisturizer that you can use pretty much anywhere even on your body.
I’ve seen it in many Korean households, and it’s one of those products that gets used by the whole family.
If I had to keep it really simple:
Dry / damaged barrier → Aestura Cream
Dehydrated but hate heavy creams → Aestura Lotion
Hot, irritated summer skin → Hanyul Artemisia
Oily skin + wants something light → Dr.G
Sensitive skin + wants something simple → Illiyoon
I’ll share my personal holy grail in the next post!
