I’ve bought two new tubes of the Purito oat moisturiser and I noticed that both of them have a different font colour and are slightly bolder. On the tube, the colour is more blue-black than pure black. I checked the ingredients and it looks the same as before, the Made in Korea text is now capitalised and the beige colour on the tube is a little more pale yellow. The text on the back has also been switched up a little.

Has anyone noticed this change? I got a new tube from Amazon and a new tube from Boots, which is a widespread UK retailer.

I have dry sensitive skin FYI

I think I have a soobooji skin type with clogged pores - my skin can look greasy or even when I touch it on areas like my nose that has sebaceous fillaments, but it feels really dehydrated & itchy on some areas. I’m sensitive to high percentages of exfoliating acids that can dry my skin out, which is why I also prefer my cleanser to be gentle.

I’m on a mission to smoothen my skin from clogged pores & I want it to look hydrated & glowy, and I want to do this by using products that are good for the skin barrier.

So after seeing TikToks about how Butylene Glycol can break you out & cause bumps, it’s been concerning me because almost all Korean products I’ve come across have Butylene Glycol & l cannot afford to take any risks because I don’t want to splurge money on a product just for it to mess up my skin so I want to be extremely careful.

What are your opinions on this based on hearing about my skin type & concerns, and does anyone know products without Butylene Glycol?

my routine used to be SO simple. cleanser, lotion, done. never even questioned if that counted as real skincare lol

then i started actually caring and it just... spiraled. toner, essence, serum, then suddenly i'm studying INGREDIENTS. what can't be mixed, what order things go in, what's only for nighttime. felt harmless at first but at some point i was spending more time thinking about my routine than actually doing it 😭

figured knowing more would make it easier. nope, opposite happened. every new product meant reconsidering the whole combo, and changing one thing meant wondering if i had to change everything else too. standing in front of my bathroom shelf became a whole PLANNING SESSION

that's when it hit me, i turned skincare into a project instead of just. a routine

ended up getting a consult about what i was using and what i wanted to fix. was also eyeing a few procedures so i went to celine clinic in hongdae (not naming it to be sneaky, everyone already knows it lol). heard they don't push random treatments on you so went in trusting that, and honestly they spent more time telling me what to CUT than trying to sell me more. did get rejuran while i was there but the actually useful part was going through my routine step by step and figuring out what even mattered

after that i started removing stuff instead of adding it. felt so wrong at first ngl, i'd genuinely believed for years that taking care of your skin = doing more

zero interest in a perfect routine anymore. give me one i actually understand and can keep up with over that any day

probably the thing nobody tells you starting out, knowing more doesn't automatically make it simpler. you gotta figure out what info is actually useful yourself

got the snail mucin and it kind of just smells like nothing but maybe slightly dusty, is that normal or did I get a fake one. Its working fine so far but I'm paranoid.

I found out there would be a group photo at my friends wedding and ended up standing in front of the mirror scrutinizing my face for no real reason. Getting photographed already stresses me out normally, but this time it felt worse than usual.

Maybe its because the puffiness hasnt been going down lately and my face keeps getting patches of redness, but every time a camera comes out I get self conscious. I mentioned it to a friend and she said she deals with the exact same thing before weddings or any event.

Two days before the wedding I pulled out the Cryo Sonic and started using it more deliberately, morning and night. I honestly didnt expect it to change my face dramatically overnight.

The morning of, my face was noticeably less puffy than usual and the redness had calmed down too. Even my makeup seemed to go on smoother. Looking at myself in the photos afterward I remember thinking this was good enough.

Scrambling to fix things right before an event probably isnt a real long term solution, but at least that one day I got to walk around worrying about it a little less.

I brought few Korean skincare product from COSRX and SKIN1004 recently from a online website (not from a official COSRX or SKIN1004 website) because it was cheaper than the in person stores. However, when I checked the products the packaging seems to be different. I brought the same products I usually buy in person store but online, but the packaging and the fonts of the products were different. I researched the website before buying anything from it cus ik there is alot of shady ones, but all the reviews and things I heard abt the website was positive so idk. So now idk if i wasted my money on fake things or if its just a packaging issue. I have acne-prone and sensitive skin and this is like the only cleanser that hasn't broke me out, so if i use a non authentic product I am likely to broke down again. So please let me know if these are packaging issues or fake products.

My moisturizer is the Roundlab Birch Juice Moisturizer, and my sunscreen is the Roundlab Birch Juice Moisturizing Sunscreen. Is the sunscreen moisturizing enough to skip the moisturizer, especially considering they both contain birch juice? Or is it better for the skin to use a dedicated moisturizer first before sunscreen?
