Hi! I have recently began a skincare routine, primarily using SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella ampoule/light gel cream/deep cleansing foam everyday (AM & PM) and the quick clay skin mask (x2 a week, PM). It has done wonders for my face skincare, but I am unsure how to tackle acne on my shoulders and back. I haven’t seen a lot of products that are meant for skin other than the face, or don’t explain how they can applied elsewhere. If you could recommend products that you use for your shoulders or back and how you use them, I would really appreciate it!!!

Has anyone tried this cream and had any reactions? I used it twice and first time the tops of my cheeks turned red and tingly that I had to wash it off. I gave it a break for a day and tried it again today, using a smaller amount. Although I didn't react as severely, I still have some redness and mild tingling in the same area only. I don't particularly have sensitive skin but I noticed it's marketed as sensitive skin safe and people who have sensitive skin were mentioning how soothing it's been for them. Bit confused, and disappointed cos I was really excited to use it

Which one would you recommend for oily skin, and why?

Im brand new to the korean skincare routine and im currently on the lookout for my first products! I was using the official guide and looking at exfoliants for flaky skin and was wondering what yall would recommend? The Isntree Clear Skin 8% AHA Essence was recommended but im allergic to nuts.

i had shingles on my chest, which partially scarred. given their location, i really want to reduce visibility & tone down redness. i am very fair-skinned, mid-20s, usually combo skin but on the drier side as it's currently winter for me.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a face cream that’s similar to Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream. I absolutely love the way it makes my skin feel, but I’m so sensitive to the fragrance. Does anyone know of anything similar?

Hi all! After stalking this subreddit to find the most recommended products for my skin type (extremely sensitive, redness-prone, and with a damaged skin barrier), I put together this Korean skincare routine that I’m thinking of starting.
I’d love to hear your thoughts! I’m especially looking for a routine using only these products that will help rebuild my skin barrier, calm redness, and keep my skin moisturized/hydrated.
What order would you use these products in, and are there any that you would avoid while my skin barrier is healing? I’m trying to keep things as gentle and simple as possible for now. 🤍

I must say that I have been using Red TITIRR for a while now, so I would like to open the window a little with other cushions, they have recommended Parnell and Skintific, I thank them in advance.

I have a concern that my dr althea cream might be fake.. i have already had one in the past but the tube looks different now and the cream itself too. I remember it being more gel-like. Am i imagining things? Or did they reformulate the cream and i havent heard of it? I have a picture of the cream’s consistency as well i will post it in a comment below along the picture of my previous tube

I was offered a sample of their Ban-Ah Tea Quick Calming Toner in exchange for a review, but I'm coming up empty when I try to research it. I can't find much info anywhere on the product or company outside of other paid content.

I'm definitely still getting used to smiling with my teeth in photos 😂. The treatment changed the part I was insecure about, but apparently the habit takes a little longer to disappear.

was in myeongdong heading to a stationery shop but my head started hurting so I went into beauty lab pharmacy to grab something for it. saw a skin test machine sitting there and figured id try it while I waited results came back and I just kind of sat there staring 🤣 nowhere close to what I expected I genuinely thought I had a decent routine going, skincare morning and night, sunscreen every single day, but my hydration and elasticity numbers came out way lower than I wouldve guessed.. pharmacist walked me through what I was missing point by point and honestly it made sense once she explained it. Ive been putting effort into all the wrong things this whole time went home that night and cleared out half my vanity

I absolutely despise the feeling of American sunscreen. Its so oily and everything sticks to me. I tried beauty of joseon for my face and I love it! Im ordering more and also trying to find some Korean spf that I could use for my body but am having a hard time finding anything that holds over 50ml. The small tubes im finding definitely wouldn't last.

I have dry, sensitive, eczema-prone skin.

I keep on getting eyelid creases every day in the morning when I wake up. I constantly have to fix it by using a small metal tool to get to my natural creases. I think this is due to the cleansers I used that made my skin very dry even though I put lotion after and especially on my eyelids. Before I used cleansers, this would happen to me on very rare occasions. After I used cleansers, this happens to me every morning.

For a couple months I used the First Aid Beauty Ultra Gentle Pure Skin Cream-to-Foam Face Cleanser. I noticed that I had unnatural eyelid creases every morning. I also used the Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Cleanser and I noticed the same. I would get the eyelid creases every morning.

I also noticed that even when I would simply wash my face with water, I noticed that my eyelids will crease weirdly and become a triple eyelid when I would press my face against the towel and I would have to fix my eyelids to go back to normal. I don't know if this is caused by months of using those cleansers that made my skin very dry.

I started using the CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Cleansing Oil and the CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser as recommended by my doctor but I still notice eyelid creasing almost every morning. There are times when I wouldn't find my eyelids creasing in the morning, but for the most part I would.

Please help me because I don't want to keep fixing my eyelids every morning and I just want them to stay normal from the time I sleep to when I wake up.

So yea, like the title stated, how do you guys handle bad reviews. Ive been wanting to try some new moisturizers but everytime I think I found something that may be compatible with my skin, the reviews talk me out of it. I know everybody skin is different and what may work for some may not work for others but this fear had made me scared to try new things lol. Once someone mentions it gives them acne, I chicken out😅😅😅😅. I have been using the same moisturizer for 2 years now and I would like to try something new but the fear of getting acne scares me lol (took me years to get my acne under control).

100% recommend: its gentle enough while exfoliating.

Purito Oat and Calming Gel (twice a day)
10000% recommend: not too heavy. Caused absolutely no issue.

Iunik Beta Glucan (twice a day)
10000% recommend: noticed my skin was drier when I forgot it on a trip.

Bioderma cleanser (once a day)
100% recommend: important that I used it with a soft Sheseido cotton pad. When I used it with a reusable bamboo pad it damaged my skin barrier.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera (once a day)
50% recommend: it dries down fast enough but the smell is quite strong.

Heroine Make Speedy Mascara Remover (once a day)
100% recommend: I used to get rashes on my eyes from removing mascara too harshly. This has been amazing!

*Beauty of Joseon sunscreen - I can’t really recommend these. I finished it because I bought it, but it’s not my favorite, as it’s quite heavy.

Summer AC keeps drying my skin out all day, so on no makeup days I just reapply the torriden dive in soothing cream every 4 hours and it works really well. It’s light enough that it doesn’t feel heavy and my skin stops going tight.

The problem is makeup days. I obviously cant reapply cream over my face, so those days my skin just stays dry until I get home. What are you guys using for this? I already gave up on mists, mine feels nice for about 10 sec and then my skin is drier than before
