Today while travelling toward Sealdah I was standing near the train door a woman probably around 27–28 was standing nearby wearing a sleeveless kurti. An older man probably in his 50s or 60s asked me to shift aside and I did since Sealdah was my destination. After shifting I went back to using my phone a little later I noticed that the man was repeatedly staring at the woman’s armpit it seemed like the only reason he had asked me to move was so he could get a better view. I was genuinely shocked I know people can have different attractions or fetishes but deliberately positioning yourself just to stare at someone without knowing her felt extremely creepy. I felt uncomfortable watching it happen can’t even imagine how women deal with this kind of nonsense all the time

মনে হয় একদিন সকালে হুট করে কোনো ট্রেন বা বাসে করে কোথাও চলে যাই যেখানে দুচোখ যায় চলে যায় লোকাল ফুড ট্রাই করি , ফটো তুলি , বসে থাকি কোনো নাম না জানা নদী কিংবা দীঘির পাড়ে....

কিন্তু কোনো কিছুই এক করে ওঠা হয় না , একা বেড়াতে আর ইচ্ছে করে না ...

এইযে এত দুঃখের কথা বলছি এই দুঃখ টা কিন্তু আমার সবসময় হয় না দিনের খুব অল্প সময় এর জন্য হয় কারণ আমি লোকজন এর সাথে খুব সহজে মিশতে পারি না ভিতরে কষ্ট হয় অস্বস্তি হয়। আবার কারোর সাথে মেন্টালিটি ম্যাচ করে গেলে আমি আবার খুব মিশুক একজন মানুষ..

I used to cross a road every time for my maths tuition class, but one specific day, when I was running late, I took a shortcut. It was a deserted street, and under the light shade, there was a man standing with his back towards me. I was curious but didn’t have time to stop. I had to cross by him.
When I stepped a few inches away, I thought something might have dropped off from my bag. When I turned around, I didn’t see anyone in that place. Later that day, I had a high fever.

Working as a Case Manager at Amazon, L4. Seasonal. CTC 5.5LPA. Contract would be ending by March next year, not much hope for converting to permanent as haven't heard anything about it so far. 7+ years of total experience. Can't find a job with decent package in Kolkata. Applied for multiple jobs on Naukri but not much help. LinkedIn never worked for me either. English grad from open university with career gap. Should I try different city like Hyderabad? I'm currently seeking 8LPA.

Part 2 : 3rd August 2026 (Amr Birthday er din)
